Diego nods. "I must admit, this is much more entertaining than old match tapes, unless you have the one where we..." Diego trails off, knowing that Seth knew EXACTLY what tape he was talking about.

Seth laughs, "Oh god, THAT tape, you think I just carry that thing aroudn with me? No, I don't have it here. Locked up at home somewhere."

Not only were the two of them former lovers, Merc thinks, but they made a tape as well? This is just too much for the catboy to take. "I think I may go take a nap." he says, standing up.
Diego looks at the catboy. "Are you alright?"

Sethos is quite worried. Merc's been acting a little bit weird since earlier today, and it always seems to be something bad when merc suddenly wants to take a nap. He stands up as well, "Are you ok?"

Merc nods unconvincingly. He walks over toward the bed and flops down onto it. This was all just too much for him to take. First he finds this amazing guy who he thinks is straight, then the guy kisses him, they sleep together multiple times and everything seems perfect, but then his ex comes into town and starts messing things up. Merc feels like a third wheel, and he knows that he really shouldn't, because he's the one with Seth... But that brings up the question of what is he to Seth? Seth likes him and everything, but he hasn't said anything about a possible future together. What if all of this ends as soon as the tournament is over? What if Seth just dissapears?

Sethos gives Diego an appologetic look before totally ditching him to go over to the bed. He brings a hand gently down Merc's cheek. He's not sure what to do, since he's relatively certain that something's wrong, but the catboy won't tell him what. He thinks it's the fact that he said Diego could stay here, but he can't just throw his best friend out.

Merc looks up at Seth. He knows that Seth knows that there's something wrong, but he can't really bring himself to talk about it. He needs to know what there was between Diego and Seth, he needs to know also where he stands with Seth, but he can't ask. He just can't...
Diego feels very uncomfortable. He looks around the apartment. "I think I will go and find the pool, Sethos." he says, wanting to give the two of them a little time alone. He doesn't wait for an answer, but grabs some shorts out of his bag and goes out the door.

Sethos thanks Diego silently. Trust the old double partner to understand. He turns his full attention to the catboy, "Merc, what's bothering you?"

Merc sighs loudly. "I don't even know. Does that make any sense?" he asks. He runs his fingers through his hair frustratedly.

"You're asking me, the straight guy, if it makes sense? If you figure it out, or something I can do to help, then tell me, ok?" He grabs merc's hand so that he doesn't do anything silly like pull out some of that pretty hair.

Merc nods. "I'm sorry Seth. I just... I don't know. Maybe I'm just cranky?" He says, still trying to cover up what's really bothering him. He gives an appologetic look to his lover and takes his other hand from his hair.

Sethos considers that, and nods a little, "Everybody has bad days sometimes." He kisses merc's forehead gently.
