Kilik shut his eyes softly, his head still pointed at the floor, "I...have to thank you for that," he whispered, "If you weren't here, I may not have come back."

"Sapphire, let's start the battle with a Flamethrower!" Mitsu said pointing at the sphere shaped Pokemon. The blue Houndoom opened his mouth and spewed fire in the direction of the Electrode.

((Dante's reaction here is my reaction in real life. I just imagined Wattson skip out in a kilt and saying those things)) Dante who was sitting on the edge of the arena had to cover his mouth to hold back his snikers of amusement. Something about the man was just hystarical to him and he couldn't help but laugh, though he did his best to hide it. Meowth just gave him a weird look clearly not getting it.

Nina smiled a little bit. "Well, you're welcome you dork," she said, her smile turning into a little grin. "I'm here for you, just like I am for Kasiya, Mitsu, Mike, and all of my friends. Nothing bad will happen to you, or them for that matter, so long as I have something to do with it.

"Whoo. Good golly, Miss Molly!" Wattson cried out, fanning himself, "Things just got a little hotter in here. I'm sorry to say, lassie! Electrode, roll out of the way and attack with a Thunderbolt!" The old man pointed at Houndoom and gave a laugh. There was a somewhat audible crack. "oh! My back!" the man placed his hand on his back and groaned slightly.
Kilik laughed, shoving the girl a little. "I'm not a dork. I was trying to be sentimental!" the boy smirked and then nodded. "It's good to have friends..." he whispered.

What Whattson just said caused Dante to break into an uncontrollable fit of giggles. He didn't even bother to try to hide them anymore. He had no idea how he was going to make it through this battle if he was just laughing like this with just the first exchange of attacks. Meowth just shook his head clearly embarrised with Dante's actions.

Mitsu grinned, but kept her laughter in. The guy was just too funny. Sapphire's Flamethower completely missed due to the Electric Pokemon's speed. Sapphire winced as he was hit with the Thunderbolt, but he could keep going. "Ok, let's try a Sludge Bomb!" Mitsu instructed this time trying to think of a way to counter the rolling Pokemon's speed. Sapphire spewed some sludge onto the battle field as he aimed for the Electrode. Maybe it'll roll into it and get poisoned like Shiva might have been. Mitsu thought remembering her battle with Dante's Sealeo before she had evolved.

The man gasped looking at his Electrode. "By the dawn's early light! Electrode!" It was too late. The electric ball was smacked in the face by the sludge. "Let's get that gunk off your face," Wattson laughed, "Hit that Houndoom with a Rollout!" the old man spun in a circle and laughed once more.
Kilik blinked and thought for a moment. "Still stuck in Blackthorn City?" he said simply, shrugging his shoulders.

"Hit 'em with a Flamethower!" Mitsu said as the Electode rolled ever closer. Sapphire got ready small flames escaping his mouth. When the Pokemon came close enough he unleased the stream of fire at it.

That was it for Dante who fell off the bench he was sitting on and was laughing in full blown hystarics. He ignored the pain it caused to laugh so hard and the glares the trainers in the gym were sending him to caught up in his laughter.

"And what's so funny, laddie?!" Wattson barked at Dante. His attention went back to the battle. "Roll through the fire, Electrode!" The electric ball did as it was told and continued its attack toward Houndoom. Although the speed at which it was rolling was slowed.

"It's a distinct possibility," Nina replied. "I... can't believe how much I've changed since then. I used to be such a... dark and cold person." A chuckle. "You'd never guess that I'm the same person today that I was when I left home."

Not caring about being his normally polite self Dante managed to choke out. "You are!" Meowth just shook his head and moved to the other side of the gym not wanting anything to do with his trainer at the moment. That and the fact that his trainers unusal rudeness was likely to get him shocked or something.

Sapphire whined as he was strucking by the rolling Electrode, but not as badly as Mitsu had imaginged it would be. He wobbled a bit but continued to stand strong, or at the least he appeared to be. "You've got some left in you. Faint Attack!" Mitsu directed, confidence filled her voice. The Fire Pokemon vanished and reappeared ramming his head into the the back side of the Electrode. "That's the ticket!" Mitsu cheered.
