Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine

Tyson had came down the stairs to find Archie and Lena in the house again. They were on the couch, and he wasn't sure he wanted to interrupt but he did.
"Mom....am I in trouble?" He asked cautiously.
"Of course not." She replied as she looked over at him.
"Okay. Can I have ice cream?" He asked since he wasn't in trouble. He figured she wouldn't say no, which is why he asked if he was in trouble first.
"Sure." She moved to get up and he waved her away.
"I can get my own ice cream. Hey Mom! Can I take it to my room?"
"Your pushing it Ty!" She responded and could not help the smile that had appeared.
"You better bring the bowl down. This is a one time deal Mister."
"Yeeeaaaahhh!!!" He disappeared in the kitchen and returned a couple of minutes later. He walked out and handed Lena and Archie bowls of ice creams and spoons.
"Ice cream always makes me feel better." He explained and went back into the kitchen only to come out with his own bowl and spoon.
"Brush your teeth before bed!" Lena called out to her son. He disappeared upstairs to play his Wii-U. Lena's phone went off but she ignored it for the time being.

Lena set the bowl down on the coffee table. She laid her head against Archie's shoulder. She was quiet for a few minutes before she finally spoke.
"I'm sorry tonight turned into such a crappy night." She laced her fingers through his.

Grace was awake pretty early, mostly because all the things on her mind had not allowed her to get hardly any sleep at all. She was stressed about the baby, Orion, Thomas, Cadie, Jasper, everyone and everything. So, she pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to her uncle, asking if he would keep Thomas for a little while so she could run a few errands. After setting her phone down she moved into the bathroom and finished up with her hair and a little bit of makeup. She chose a simple outfit for the day, some denim shorts and a tank top, leaving her hair straight and just a little bit of makeup. Not like she had anyone to impress, really. Orion was already married to her, and he seemed to like her in anything so she wasn't too worried.

Archie Thompson

Archie groaned when he heard his phone go off, and rolled onto his side to reach over to the nightstand to pick it up. It wasnt too early, but he and Lena had been up pretty late having a little fun, so he was just a tad bit groggy. However, when he read the text and it registered in his brain, he slowly sat up in the bed and pushed a hand through his hair, looking down at the olive skinned woman laying next to him. "Gracie is asking me to watch little Thomas today -- I don't wanna tell her no because I'll take any time I can get with the little monster, but I don't know s**t about babies..." His blue eyes looked down at Lena, silently pleading to her to be the one to help him out with Thomas for the day.

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine

Lena hadn't been sleeping, she had just been laying in bed. Enjoying getting to lay around and be lazy this morning. She was definitely enjoying the fact that Tyson was still asleep. It allowed her to relax a bit.
"Babysitting? Sounds like fun. It has been ages since I got to fuss over a baby!" Lena smiled over at Archie. Of course she would help him with his nephew., he didn't even have to ask.
"We should start getting ready then." She slipped out of the bed, and pulled on her lacy nightgown. She moved toward her closet to find an outfit in her massive closet.

Grace looked down at her phone once more when Archie replied, and hurried to finish getting ready before going into Thomas's room and getting him dressed for the day. She didn't want to tell Orion that she was going to visit with Cadie, because he probably wouldn't approve. Once Thomas was in his carseat and ready, she left a note for him telling him she and Thomas were going to visit her uncle Archie and if he needed her, she would have her phone. There was no need to wake him up, especially since he was up late last night with the guys. The drive to Lena's house didn't take very long, and she had everything Thomas would need packed away in his diaper bag. She then moved to the door and knocked softly, to which Archie opened and gave her a big smile.
"Hey, uncle Arch. I really appreciate this.." She kissed his cheek and handed off the carseat to him, which he lifted effortlessly with one arm, picking it up to his face level so he could get a look at Thomas.
"It's not a problem, sweetheart. I actually think Lena is looking forward to it." He looked over his shoulder and winked at Lena, before turning back to Grace. "Want coffee or anything?"
"No, no thank you. I need to get going. But I'll be back in a few hours. If he gets to be too much just call me and I will come back for him, okay?" Grace leaned down and kissed Thomas's cheek, and then Archie's and gave Lena a hug. "Thank you." With that she hurried back to the Jeep and took off to Cadie's apartment, knocking on the door gently when she arrived.

~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~

Cadence answered the door and Ethan could be seen standing just behind her. His bag packed, and the smaller duffel bag in his hand. Killian had made it clear the night before that Ethan was not to hang around. He was to go back to his life, and leave Killian to look after Cadence.

Ethan went only because he realized he would not be getting anywhere with Cadence currently. Especially not since Killian no knew he was around, and was breathing down their necks. So E decided to cut his loses, and try when Cadence visited Eden.

Cadence was surprised to see Grace standing at her front door. It was a great happy surprise for her though. She had not seen any of her 'friends' since before she left. The exception being Killian of course. Sure she had run inti Maralyn and Jasper but....they weren't friends. Not anymore. Hell she wasn't even sure Jasper had ever been a friend since they had become adults.

They had been childhood friends. She moved away, grew up and came back. There had been instant physical attraction, and feelings that she sure stemmed from their childhood. She wasn't sure if what either of them had felt had been more then misunderstood feelings. Though she knew she did truly care about him. She just didn't understand what that meant, or where that left them given everything that had taken place between them.

Maralyn on the other hand, well Cadence and her had been friends. Maralyn had protected Cadence when she didn't have too. She was a great person, but her betrayal. It would have been one thing if her betrayal had only affect Cadence. She would have easily gotten over that. However her betrayal had hurt her family as a whole. It had resulted in the deaths of innocent people. It had caused so much heartache and pain, and for that Cadence just wasn't sure how to forgive that. How to move on from that.

She truly did want to, because she knew Maralyn had not meant to harm her family. She would never willingly hurt anyone. Maralyn had a big hard, was fiercely loyal and brave. All things she had proven while they were imprisoned together.
"Hey Grace..." Cadence said slowly, she stepped back so she could step into the apartment. Once Grace had stepped inside Cadence couldn't hold back and hugged her friend/sister-in-law. Ethan watched the exchange.
"Ohhhh hot!" He said and Cadence stopped hugging Grace. She turned to Ethan, her hands on her hips.
"Need me to see you out Ethan?" She asked and figured what she really meant was obvious.
"I'm leaving. I will see you when you visit." He stepped up and kissed her quickly then was gone. He kissed her square on the lips before she could stop him.
"Now that he is gone, come one in. Uh....I have went shopping so....I don't have much to offer you right now. Sorry." Cadence lead the way to the small living room.
"I can get you water...and toast. I'm sorry. I wasn't expecting to be here or company, but I am glad you stopped by! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to imply I am not happy you came by. I am happy you are here. Really. How is Thomas?" She was talking fast and it seemed she was a bit anxious. She was seated on one end of the couch and twisting one corner of the blanket. It was an unconscious thing, her constant anxiety manifested in her fidgeting.

Grace happily accepted the hug that Cadence offered her, even giving her a little squeeze before letting go. What she didn't expect was the man that had been leaving to kiss her right on her lips. He had bags packed, and she sure as hell never met the man before, so maybe she was trying to date again? He was a big dude, and from the looks of it could keep Cadie safe from Ben if he wanted to. But he was gone as fast as she saw him, and followed Cadie to the couch, leaning back into it with a sigh. "I know I should have called or something, I'm sorry. I was talking with Jasper last night and he mentioned he'd seen you and you were hurt...are you okay? Is everything okay?" She leaned forward now, placing her elbows on her knees and reaching a hand out to hold Cadie's. "Everything is...well, Thomas is doing great. Archie and your mom actually have him right now. But there's something I need to talk to you about because I don't know how to handle it...or what to do." She dropped her eyes to the ground for a minute and sucked in a small breath of air. "I'm pregnant...but...I don't know if it belongs to Orion or Mendez." Cadie had been in jail with her, she had been there for her after the whole thing with Mendez, too.

~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~

"First, you never have to call. You stop by whenever you want. If you want to call, you simply say unlock the damn door this carrier is heavy!" Cadence teased with a smile. The first sign in a long time that the old Cadie still existed someone inside the shell.

Cadence wasn't sure how to respond to Grace's question. Was she okay? She was not in any immediate danger so that in her book meant she was okay for the time being. She looked down at the floor a moment as she thought.
"I'm fine I think. I miscarried the baby I was pregnant with." She paused, her eyes still on the floor.
"I honestly am not sure how I feel. I am sad and relieved. I am am still physically hurting. Emotionally and mentally I am hurt. Devastated that I have lost another baby, but...I knew the possibility was there. They weren't sure if I could carry a baby to term after the damage from the last...so...I was not entirely surprised. A part of me was hopeful but so terrified." She looked back at Grace.
"Terrified of being tied to that monster. Terrified he would hurt the baby if he ever got his hands on her." She brushed her hair back, stressed by the conversation.
"I was afraid of myself as well. Afraid I would hate the baby, or never truly love it because of Ben....or Black...whoever her Father was. I am pretty sure it was Ben. The timeline...fits...I also feared they baby would be evil like her Father. Stupid, I know. I just was so mixed up about it. Wanted the baby to be the one good thing that came out of everything but...it didn't feel right. I wondered what the conversation would be like when she came home and asked how come she didn't have a Father. What do you tell your rape baby when they question where their father is?"

Cadence stood up and started to straighten up her living room.
"Mom and Archie....cute couple. Ah. Babysitting. That should prove interesting. I feel like Archie probably doesn't remember much about babies. Been a long time since you and Dereck have been babies."

Cadence froze at the revelation and slowly turned to face Grace. She looked surprised and sad. She moved over to Grace and hugged her again.
"I'm so sorry." She kind of understood what Grace was going through. She had after all been raped and gotten pregnant from the encounter. Only difference was Grace had the possibility that the baby was her husband. It made her situation a lot more complicated. It meant she could abort the baby and run the risk of aborting a child that she had created with her husband. Or have the baby and run the risk of the child being her rapist.

"Have you told Orion yet? Are you even going to tell him?" Cadence was not sure what she would do in Grace's situation. She was just thankful she had never been in that situation. She was sure that was an extremely hard situation, with no good solution.
"How do you feel the situation? I mean....at the end of the day, what happens is YOUR decision. No one else. No one else will ever understand how you feel, and there are only a couple of people who are affected by your decision. They may be affected, but you are the one who has to live with the decision forever,so don't let anyone talk you into anything." Cadence of course knew how hard the decision between and abortion and having a child could be. She had been in the position where she herself had to decide. Only once had she confidently decided that having the child would be okay.

Only once had she known without a doubt the Father would be there for the child. Only once had she not feared for her baby's safety, or upbringing. Cadie patted Grace's hand.
"It's okay Grace. You and Orion will get through this." Cadence knew that was the truth. Her brother was often an a*****e, but when it came to Grace...he somehow became a good guy. He was over the moon about Grace.

Grace smiled at the little burst of the old Cadie that seemed to shine through in that moment. It was refreshing, and it made her happy to know that her friend was still in there somewhere, despite everything that had happened to her. But, when she started to speak about how she lost the baby, and everything that went through her head Grace couldn't help but just be overcome with emotion. It was probably mostly because of the hormones, but also the fact that she was scared that she would be carrying the child of her rapist, and she had no idea what she was going to do. It wasn't until Cadence hugged her that the water works started, as much as she tried to push them back. "I told him, and he -- I don't know how he feels about it. All he's really said is that he will take care of it. He never said just how he feels about it. It's almost been a little awkward between us since I told him." She looked down at her hands in her lap, and she chewed on her bottom lip. The last thing she wanted was for something like this to ruin her marriage. She still had physical scars from her previous attacks, and Orion still loved her but this -- this was something she was afraid would make him stop loving her. "I'm scared. I had been told that it was unlikely I would ever have children and here I am with Thomas and now this one, but -- I just can't bring myself to be happy about it because...if it belongs to Mendez I will have to look at it every day and just be reminded of him. Then if it belongs to Orion of course I'll be happy but I don't think he will." She brought her hands up and wiped at her eyes, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have showed up here and then just became a blubbering mess."

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette
Outfit

Diana didn't hear anything from Killian for the rest of the night. Which she couldn't blame or get angry with him for, he had a life to go live. One that was well established before her and Lyv crashed it.
He had things to take care of, and it was probably better that he did deal with his own things, while she dealt with hers. Alyvia had persuaded Di to take her to the park again after dinner. As much as the woman wanted to keep her daughter locked in the house for safety, it wasn't fair to the girl to do that. And she couldn't let them stop living their lives because of one instance, no matter how protective she felt about it.

Returning home, Diana poured herself a glass of wine while Alyvia took a bath before bed. After the child was in bed, Di logged on to her computer,
thinking she would get some work done. Yet no work got done as she read the first e-mail in her inbox over and over. Ben and Black had been released today, and no one had thought to call to say that? Now the woman was livid at the law enforcement within the county. Never had she not been notified by a quick call when someone like that was released early. Diana knew she hadn't gotten rid of all the corrupt politicians and such when she put Ben away, but she had had the delusion he would be in longer than a few months.
Closing her computer, Di finished the glass of wine in her hand. Crossing the kitchen she poured herself more before walking out into the garage. She felt like she was going to ruin something, so why not ruin something that was old anyway? She thought as she started going through the boxes there. Creating one large pile for a goodwill truck to pick up once she was done, and a smaller pile of things she may keep.

The next morning, Di got her daughter ready for the last day of school for the week, and just because the news and threat was clear in her mind, Di drove the girl to school. The pictures of her daughter were a warning, that Di knew.
What she didn't know was did the man who sent them want more from then just to stay out of his business with Cadie. Now that Cadie was pregnant with is child, Di was sure he wanted something to do with that woman again.
And with the threat to Lyv, Di was afraid her choice wouldn't be easy - do her job and help Cadie, or protect her child. But she hadn't heard from Cadie either, not that she suspected the girl would come running for help. No the girl was self sufficient. Plus she had Killian and other men on her side to help protect her again. After dropping off her daughter, Di returned home to work again. Coffee mug in hand she fired up the computer she had closed the night before.

The man rolled over in his bed with a groan. His head had a deep ache pounding around. He had returned home late after the party - talking with Grace then partying with his brothers once she went to bed. He looked over to the clock on the nighstand, his blurry vision barely able to read the numbers there. Then his gaze slipped over to the half drunk bottle of whiskey near it. Yup that's where all this came from now.The man rolled out of his bed slowly, head in his hands as he made his way to the dark bathroom that he didn't bother to light so that he could shower some of the previous stink off his form.

Walking out of his apartment, Jasper stopped downstairs in his shop. He looked at the crude makings of some of the pieces for the toddler bed Grace wanted. He hardly remembered working on that last night. Looking down at his hands, he counted his fingers to make sure he hadn't lost one. But nope they were all there. Turning out of the building, Jasper got onto his bike and road to the clubhouse. Soon after he sat at the table, Moira placed a plate of fat and grease slathered protein and carbs with a cup of coffee.
"Thanks Moira. What would we all do without you looking out for our asses?" He told the older woman before he started to dig into the food in front of him.

Lyn woke to the sound of her alarm going off from her phone. Not that she felt like she ahd really even slept the night before. Getting up from the bed slowly, Lyn rubbed a hand over her belly under one of Dereck's shirts that was no long falling to her knees over the bulge of her belly. One foot following the other Lyn made her way into the bathroom to shower and get ready for her day. She had an appointment with her doctor this morning. Although she had recently been to the hospital, the staff had encouraged her to keep her regular visit this week. So she had.

Walking out of the quiet house with 1/2 a bagel in hand, Lyn moved to her car, throwing her purse to the passenger seat before pulling the car out of the driveway and to the doctor's office. There she was told the babies were both healthy still and that she was to make sure she was taking care of herself in this last trimester. She nodded to the woman in front of her showing her understanding, even when the woman told her to let her know if work got too much and she'd write her a bed rest prescription note. Although it seemed the woman already thought Lyn would need one before the babies were born.

Lyn's blue eyes roamed the ultrasound picture in her hands as she sat in the car in the parking lot. She'd bring it to Dereck tomorrow. Not that she thought he would keep it, but maybe it would help show him she and the babes were fine. That all he had to worry about was being safe himself and getting out as soon as possible. Thinking of Dereck, locked away, brought tears swimming to her eyes. The red head put he picture into her purse and began to drive to work, pushing the thoughts from her mind.

No she had decided she wouldn't stop for a drink today before going in to work. She had packed her water bottle and a lunch for the day. After yesterday's run in with Cadence that was a complete fail, the woman didn't want to run into too many people right now. She couldn't blame Cadie for hating her, but she also couldn't deny that hurt from her old friend. What would she even tell anyone she ran into? Lincoln? Lucky? Kevin? Archie? She had nothing to say to any of them at the moment. What if it was Grace she ran into? Oh god did that woman even know her brother was in jail? Would she blame Lyn for that? Lyn sighed thinking she should call the blonde woman, ,but then thought better of it. She had to believe Archie had this all taken care of with the lawyer and all. If he thought Dereck's sister should know about this, obviously he would have told her. Maralyn didn't want to add stress onto that beautiful and strong woman's plate. Not any more than she needed to. And then another thought hit her. Had they told her about Stasha? The pup Grace had wanted to adopt from the litter. Lyn shook her head and parked outside the Vet Clinic, turning off her ignition. Well telling the other woman wouldn't do any good right now. Wouldn't bring the two mongrels back.

Maralyn got to work seeing clients right away upon arriving. It was Friday, they were busy. It wasn't until lunch time she got a chance to sit with Cindy at the front and tell her she had to reschedule her morning for the next day. Lyn didn't care how much s**t or complaints the patients gave. She couldn't make it in that early. Yes she had been rescheduling a lot in the last few months, but it was better than just quitting, right? After getting that taken care of, Lyn made her way outside to sit on a bench for the rest of her lunch break. Taking out her phone, she texted her cousin Lincoln,To: Lincoln
From: Maralyn
'Hey, Linc, do you think you'd have some time to go shopping tonight? If not I can get see if one of the Reapers is free. No big. Just want to get a few more things for the babies room. - Lyn'

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine

Lena accepted Grace's hug, a bit surprised. She was a nice girl, Lena just wasn't you to outward displays of affection. Cadence had grew out of it fast, and became a bit of a brat. David wasn't outwardly warm. Tyson was affectionate, but even he was beginning to pull a way a bit. She reassured Grace they would be fine, an not to worry.

Lena had taken care of her share of babies. She loved them, adored them, and new how to handle one. She wasn't sure if this was Grace's first time leaving Thomas or not, she was ready to reassure the Mother a bit more if need be. However Grace left without bursting into tears. So they were in the clear, left alone with the baby.

She disappeared into the kitchen to wash her hands. Not many people realized that Lena was a bit of a germophobe. It was much more obvious when her children had been small. It always came out when she was around babies.

She unbuckled the baby from the carrier and carefully lifted his head. She smoothed her hand over his head gently, trying to flatten the bits of baby hair that were sticking up from moving about against the carrier. She smiled at the baby, because who could see a baby and not smile?!

"Hello handsome." She cooed as she rubbed his back.
"Let's go over to Uncle Archie. He is excited to spend time with you." She closed the distance between them and handed Thomas off. She enjoyed the look on his normally confident face. It was one of awe and a bit of oh s**t.
"Feeling okay? Comfortable with holding him?" She eyed the unlikely pair in her warily.

Lincoln was seated at the table eating when Jasper dragged himself in. Linc grinned at his friend.
"Wasn't sure if you would be vertical today. Not after all the shots we were doing last night. Great party right?" Once Moira set the plate down in front of Jasper, and then a plate in front of Lincoln his attention was diverted to the plate that was overflowing with food.
"You lot would be scruffy little Neanderthals, possibly cannibalizing each other.." Moira replied and winked at Jasper. She was of course kidding. She was in fact the Mother figure, but Orion was the head around here.

It was his dream and determination to keep this 'family' together that made it possible. He may be absent from a lot of events lately but his Club was still on his mind. Was always on his mind, and Moira knew this. He was constantly in touch, and dropping in. He just was distancing himself from the partying. His focus lately was making sure the Club's earnings were clean. He now had a wife and son to provide for, and was trying to do that. He wanted to do it right though, not having to spend his life looking over his shoulder.

"Dinner tonight here will be around 7 if you two want to wander back this way after work." Moira said as she continued working. Lincoln nodded his head and there was a grunted response. Seconds later his phone went off and he read the text he had.
"Scratch that. I will be with Mara tonight. We will probably grab something while we are out."
"Bring her by for a real meal." Moira said as she brandished a spatula at Lincoln from where she stood at the stove.
"Okay, I will see if she wants to stop by. You know she feels awkward here..."
"Who feels awkward here?" Jesse asked as he crashed into the room and plopped in a seat at the table. He reached over and took a piece of toast off of Lincoln's plate and bit into it.
"Moira, can my toast be darker then Linc's." He leaned back in the chair, balancing on the back two legs as he ate the toast.
