Daniel's initial answer was to refuse to let them out, but the alleyway was isolated, their home a ways away from the entrance, and he was sure they would not be recognized. "Just be careful, I suppose. If anyone enters the alleyway, return to the house and I will set up the cloaking," he told her. "I have begun to become fearful for all of you. It seems that there have been some attempted kidnappings, most targets were visionaries. Keep watch over Rin and Leo."

Elsa nodded. "I will keep an eye on them." she said softly, already halfway out the door. "Get some sleep okay?" she said before leaving the office and going back downstairs. "Alright, everyone who's going outside, follow me! The rest of you, have fun cleaning!" she announced cheerfully, leading the way out the front door.Leo smiled at Elsa's enthusiasm and wondered if she enjoyed doing yard work, her energy suggested she did. "Alright....I wonder where they keep the dusting things?" he wondered out loud, thinking a wet washcloth would probably do just fine.

While Elsa had been away, Chase had gotten Sam and Sasha and then woken up Cherry, all ready to work outside. It was a relief, really. He couldn't handle being inside all day anyways.Asher decided to begin with the dishes, putting some soap on a sponge. Taking a nearby washcloth, he soaked it and handed it to Leo. "Dishes are going to be a nightmare," he commented, already seeing the mountain at the sink.

The rest of the day was spent cleaning, Elsa and her small group tidied up the yard while everyone else made sure the inside of the house was nice and clean. Leo finished cleaning the last window, with the help of Rin to find them for him, and made his way into the kitchen to see how Asher was doing. "Everything cleaned in here?" he asked softly, hoping his brother wasn't being worked too hard.

Asher had decided to mop and take out the trash before doing the dishes, considering the mountain, and he was currently sprawled on the floor in exhaustion. "I feel bad for whoever is supposed to wash dishes next," he said tiredly. "Can you imagine having to clean up after ten people? If this place was full before..."

Leo couldn't help but laugh at his brother, but the direction of his voice was odd. "W-where are you?" he asked, taking a few steps before tripping over his brother's leg. "Oh there you are!" he said, laughing at his own mistake. "What are you doing on the floor?? You're gonna get it dirty with all that sweat you've created!" He teased, giving his brother a sharp poke in his ribs.

Asher doubled over when poked in the ribs. "Leo, you know that's sensitive!" he laughed before getting up. "Well, chores are done, I guess. I wonder where Gramps is. I haven't seen him since yesterday." He would expect his grandfather to be busy, but just how long does he work each day?

"He's probably working hard on something." he said softly as he stood up after his brother. "I say we make something easy to cook and go relax somewhere. I think me and you have earned it!" he said with a bright smile but his brother seemed to be more fixated on his grandfather. "We can go up to his office and see what he's up to if you'd like?"

It didn't sound like a bad idea to Asher. "Sure. Maybe we can also get caught up on old times, too," he said. Even now, he didn't know, or at least didn't remember, the type of person his grandfather was. Now was as good a time as any to get to know him. From the looks of things, Raki, Rin, and Elsa seemed to like the old man.

Leo smiled and took Asher's arm. "Lets go see him then. I'll bet he'll be glad to have a little company while he's working." he said softly, walking with Asher upstairs to see Daniel. "Good evening Daniel. How have you been today? We haven't seen you all day!" he exclaimed once they arrived at the old man's office.

Despite Elsa's advice, Daniel had decided to continue to check his mail and research the gang. He sent his research to everyone to see if they could help identify the gang, and then warned them to keep watch over their visionaries. He was surprised when two newcomers came into the room, though he was a bit relieved to see that neither of them was Elsa coming to scold him. Actually, he was more pleased to see that Asher was one of the visitors. "Ah, welcome. I see you two are well," he said pleasantly. "Please take a seat, if you plan to stay for a while."Asher took one of the vacant chairs, though he guided Leo to the other first. He wasn't sure what the say to the old man. This was his grandfather, whom he had forgotten, so of course this would be awkward for him. He had already felt odd when trying to interact with Raki.

Leo sat down and made himself comfortable with the help of Asher. "We just wanted to stop by and say hello. You've been keeping to yourself all day and Asher was starting to get worried." he teased, knowing he would get a look from his brother.

From the look of Asher's face, Daniel figured Leo had been telling the truth. "Well, I'm grateful for your concern, but assure you that I am well," he said. "Surely that is not all you came here for. Asher, I assume you would like to know about your parents? Maybe I can tell you about Raki's time here."Asher's interest perked up. "Yes, please do," he said with an uncomfortable politeness. "Tell me everything. I want to remember at least a little."

The three of them talked and laughed about stories from Asher's childhood. Leo was enjoying himself so much that even he was starting to miss Asher's parents. After a few hours of talking Leo started to yawn more and more but he didn't want to break up the conversation until there was a pause in the chatter. Leo reached over and placed his hand on Asher's leg. "It's getting late Ash, we should be going to bed. I'm sure Daniel is tired too."

Daniel had told them all that he knew whenever he visited his grandsons and whenever their parents sent him letters. He told them about Asher's eagerness to learn; how much he would dote on Raki; how he sometimes refused to let even their mother hold the baby; how the parents, busy as they were, would try their best to spend as much time with their children as possible; such and such. He had been about to talk about Raki's growing years when Leo pointed out how late it was. "Ah, yes. You two should head off to sleep. Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I'm sure you want to wake early to enjoy the day."Throughout the hours, Asher couldn't help but wish he had remembered his parents. The stories were mostly short, considering he had been young when he lost his family and thus there wasn't very much to talk about. What struck Asher the most were those stories about himself and Raki. Had his biological brother ever heard such stories? The question would go unanswered, however, for it was time to go to bed. "Alright, we'll take our leave. G'night, Gramps."
