Thor looked to his friend hesitant when the man told him to let him into the cell not to let Loki go. The blind did not care to see either his brother or friend within the cell but he could try and prevent one. When to y snapped the face plate closed and took aim the guards chuckled. They did not think that he could break the magic of the cell wall. When Bruce argued the blond finally relented looking pointedly to the guards. The seemed uneasy but moved forward towards the cell. Loki scrambled backwards knowing that staying close would only be seen as an attempt to escape. Soon the cell wall was open enough for Tony and Bruce to enter.

The two men slipped into the cell as it opened for them, Tony still fuming, Bruce thankful that one crisis had been averted. These Asgardians still underestimated Tony, and if he really did have some sort of magic, Bruce was worried just how much damage Tony could do. Tony quickly came and knelt beside his lover, face plate sliding back again as he cupped his cheek and examined him. “You aren’t hurt are you?’ he asked softly, completely serious. As he spoke, Bruce set down his case and pulled out a few nodes, placing them on Loki’s temples and a few other places. Frigga had gifted him a ring after dinner that would allow him to touch Loki without being harmed.

Loki move toward Tony as he entered the cell. leaning into the man's hands he barely worried about Bruce. "I am alright." Loki Assured. He was overly warm but unharmed as far as he could tell. "I hurt Skadi did I not?" He questioned.

Tony sighed at Loki’s question. How could anyone find this man to be bad or evil when his first concern always seemed to be others. “He’ll survive. He just has some frostbite, but the healers here can take care of that easily. You were…..efficient if nothing else. You took out guards, but he didn’t do any more harm than needed. The worst injuries were from your touch.” He said softly. Tony knew that wouldn't be much comfort for Loki, but he was going to tell him the truth right now. He had to. He could feel Loki’s discomfort now that they were close and frowned slightly. “Cast a cooling spell.” He said gently. “Maybe I’ll see if we can get some sort of makeshift fan brought in as well.” He said softly.

Loki was only slightly relieved to hear that Skadi would survive fine. That he had merely been frostbitten and not more seriously hurt. However he felt terrible about hurting someone whom had looked after him his whole life, someone he cared about. "My mother?" He questioned softly, he didn't really remember her in the dream but he needed to be sure. When to y told him to cast a cooling spell he smiled sadly. "The cell is designed to dampen my magic it would not be very effective." Loki stated. "I can not believe this has happened I can remember it but it wasn't like I was in control. It was like someone else had my body and I could see them using it." Loki explained.

Tony frowned at the news that Loki wouldn’t be able to find proper relief from the warmth. He’d have to fix that. “Frigga’s doing damage control. Last I heard she was arguing with some noble or other who thought he’d lecture her or something. I wasn’t paying attention.” He said softly. Listening to Loki’s explanation, he nodded. “I know it was someone else. I tried to reach your mind, but it was blocked by someone else. I was lucky I could still locate you.” He explained.
Bruce made a small noise of agreement as he watched a small monitor in his hands. “There are residual traces of what I’m assuming to be magic. It’s energy readings like we programmed the jammer for, but on a different frequency.” He said slowly. “And there is activity in parts of the brain I don’t think there should be. I can’t be sure without my lab and equipment however.” He added, looking to both of them apologetically.

Loki raised an eyebrow when he heard his mother was arguing with a noble that thought she needed a lecture. "Are you sure it was not a council member?" he questioned that sounded more like what his mother might be doing damage control on. However Loki was not sure if it would do any good, the gauntlet was gone and he had no doubt that Thanos most likely had it by now. "I should have known..." Loki shook his head. He knew Thanos wanted the gauntlet, why would he use the opportunity when Loki was in Asgard to finish the job. "I did not even feel your mind reach for mine." Loki frowned. They hadn't had the bond the last time Thanos had played with his body but the god had hoped that it might be one way for Tony to break him from the elder gods control.
Looking to Bruce when the man spoke about what readings he was getting Loki turned to him. "We set the jammer to my magical signature, unless Thanos has been tainting my magic which is entirely possible all that shows is that my magic was used." Loki sighed. However hearing about the unusual brain activity made him hope a bit until Bruce said he could not determine more with out his lab or equipment. "It is alright, I am thankful for what you have done." Loki stated before looking to the cell 'door' where Thor had reappeared holding some simple robes. Separating himself from Tony he quickly retrieved them and dressed. It did nothing to help with the heat of the dungeons but at least he felt less exposed. "Thank you brother. Tell mother I am sorry I have ruined things."

Tony could only shrug at the question. He only knew a handful of people on Asgard and had no idea how to distinguish different groups aside from the warriors. Shaking his head as Loki continued, Tony looked him in the eye. “This is not your fault. Do you understand? Thanos would have found a way to get what he wanted anyway. We’re lucky it was you in fact. I’m sure that the only reason no one is dead is because of you. Thanos wouldn’t have cared for the life of a guard and you could have easily killed them all, but you didn’t.” he said firmly. “And if you want to start pointing fingers, then I’m equally to blame. I’m the only person here with any control over you. I should be more aware, I probably could have ordered you to stop, forced myself into your mind, but I didn’t.” he added.
Bruce shook his head at Loki’s words. “It’s not your magic Loki. It doesn’t match your magic except in the most general sense.” He said slowly. “I have some theories I need to test when we return to the tower. I think we may have another tool we can use in the future.” He said, continuing to study the test results.
Tony’s eyes followed Loki as he stood and slipped on the clothes offered to him. Hearing his words, he sighed. “Loki….nothing is ruined….not yet. You have to trust me…..I think there are ways to work around all of this and have everyone come out better.” He said, mind spinning as he paced the cell, his armor’s footfalls heavy and loud in the small space.

Loki wasn't sure he agreed with Tony when the man told him that what happened was not his fault. He should have known better and done something to prevent it. Now the gauntlet was gone and in Thanos' hands. Hearing that the only reason no one was dead because of him was a curious thing but he didn't question it. "You are not to blame Tony, you were asleep." Loki protested. When Bruce piped up about it not being his magic he nodded at least there were theories. "How can it not be ruined. My mother needed my help for what she was planning, with the gauntlet gone because of me and many prisoners released Asgard will be less than thrilled with me." Loki stated as he watched Tony pace. "You do not have to stay in here with me. You can go help my mother or whatever you wish."

Tony shook his head at Loki’s words. “On Earth there is a saying, there is no such thing as bad publicity.” He said slowly. “I should know of all people how to spin a story how I want it, but we have to do everything just right.” He said slowly. Taking a notepad from Bruce’s case, he began to scribble down a few things. “We can make this work, but both of you are going to have to let Frigga be queen and not mom for now.” He said, looking between the princes. Hearing Loki’s words on him not staying, he gave the god a serious look. “I am not leaving you in here alone. Don’t even think about arguing either.” He said firmly. Loki’s magic may be dampened here, but Tony’s blasters weren’t.

Loki raised an eyebrow when Tony stated that there was no such thing as a bad press. "How do you intend to spin this?" Loki questioned. Nodding when the man said that he would have to let his mother be queen and not mom for a bit he moved closer to tony to see what the man was writing. "I do not know how long I will be down here and there is no reason for you to be bored trapped with me." Loki argued anyway when Tony told him that under no uncertain terms he was staying.

Tony frowned at what he was writing, tilting his head a little. ”Frigga has to sell you as a unwitting pawn…..innocent, but still a threat. She has to decide that threat has to be removed, but she can’t kill you as you really didn’t do anything intentionally. You have to be sent back to Earth, putting out of reach of the vault and under the protective custody of the Avengers. We’ve handled you before, we can keep you out of trouble again.” he explained. ”She will then be the wise and compassionate ruler she is, but it will show that she’ll make the hard decisions for Asgard, something Odin can’t do as he simply threw you back on the dungeon, where you managed to break out a dozen prisoners from already.” Finishing with the notes for Frigga, he handed them to Bruce. ”You’re the chess ppayer Bruce….time to play the game.” he said seriously, the doctor nodded and leaving the cell. Turning back to Loki, Tony shook his head. ”We aren’t having the discussion, I am staying.” he said seriously.

Loki listened to tony explain what would need to happen and his stomach clenched. "I will be banished from Asgard and my mother until Thanos' control has been rid from me." Loki choked out. It was not ideal but he understood. Watching Bruce leave with the notes Loki sank to the floor to sit against a wall. "I will not hear of your complaints then when you are bored." Loki joked but his heart wasn't in it. His mind too full of the plan and the heat around him. When he had been in the dungeons before it had bothered him a bit but never this much. He knew it was because of his Jotun form; closing his eyes he leaned back feeling exhausted.

“I know it’s not ideal babe, but it’s the best of a bad situation.” Tony sighed. “And I wouldn’t worry about her being separated from you. This is Frigga, if she wants to visit, she’s going to visit, throne or not.” Tony said slowly. Waiting until they’d been left alone, Tony slowly sat beside Loki. “Lean against the suit babe. It’s cool at the moment.” He said slowly. He knew Loki didn’t feel good and desperately wished to help him, but he didn’t know how. After some silence, he shook his head. “I’m sorry Loki….” He said softly.

Loki nodded when Tony said that if his mother wanted she would not be kept from him. "I hope they will give me the time to collect some of my things." Loki responded as Tony sat beside him. He didn't hesitate to lean against the man when told. He desperately wanted to be cooler and although the suit provided some comfort he knew it would not be enough. "Why are you sorry?" Loki mumbled not opening his eyes.
