Souno stepped out of the bright yellow cab and handed the last of his money to the cabby. "Just enough to get me to the gate...that traveler sure knew what he was doing." He picked his travel pack off of the sidewalk and headed towards the gate, he had applied while he was traveling and had only recieved his accpetance letter a few days ago. An android confronted him on his way towards the gate.

""Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID." The android spoke with a metalic voice that Souno didn't like, but he gave the letter over to the robot anyways.
"Thank you, Souno, here is your ID." A small slot on the Android's chest spit out an ID for him and then she turned and walked away. Souno turned to the gate and walked up to it, looking for a way to open it. He noticed a small pad nearby with a small slot in it, and he inserted his card. He jumped when his card was swallowed by the slot and yelled out in protest but it was spit back at him which scared him again and he fell back onto the ground and stared at the gates as they opened.
Looks like I have a little getting used to...." Souno picked up his pack and took his card before walking through the gate and looking around. He suddenly felt alone and afraid.

She laughed, amused at Ash's and Ryoko's hesitant reactions. "Am I really that intimidating? I'm sorry, I'm just excited. This place is so incredible. I'll try to tone it down a little, 'k? So how'd you guys end up here? Me, I was expelled from a couple of other schools, and my mother was running out of ideas. She thought this place would do me some good. I just hope the assholes are a little fewer in number than elsewhere. Or that I'll have a little more freedom in dealing with them. Though I doubt that will ever be the case. Both of my expulsions were for 'violent behavior.' Which really means I knocked around a few people who deserved it. Bullies, mostly"

Tchai hopped off of the bus and looked around and spotted the iron gates of Ria High. He smiled. "So...this is where my brother chose to hide, is it? I'm going to enjoy making his life hell." He hitched his travel pack onto his shoulder and sauntered over to the gates where he was stopped short by an android.
""Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID."
Tchai rolled his eyes and pulled the slip of paper from his pack and gave it to the robot.
"Thank you Tchai, here is your student ID" The robot exclaimed merrily as it spit a student ID out at Tchai. Tchai snapped it up and turned briskly away before looking at the gates. He smiled when he saw his twin brother looking around uncomfortably at the campus, obviously not having seen Tchai yet. He gauged the distance over the gate and quickly and silently vaulted towards the wall. He bounced off and over the fence where he landed behind his brother. He placed his hand on his brother's shoulder and whispered into his ear,
"I bet you thought you'd never see me agaian Souno." He smiled wickedly and stepped back.

Tchai smiled an dropped back into his own defensive stance.
"You should know better than to fight with me Souno, I could always beat you back home. Why am I here? You should know why, because it's the same reason you left. The Maestro's mirror gifted me with a power too, but instead of giving me the cold shoulder...." He said as he nibly lept forward towards Souno, "It made me the hottest guy in the village." He smiled at his pun.

Tchai deftly caught the blow and let it swing him around. His knee came up and aimed at Souno's ribs. "I've got you now, brother. You're always a fool when it comes to fighting, even after all those times we sparred together."

She stares at Ryoko, having never seen anything like his shadow manipulaitons before. "That's one hell of a trick. I take it stuff like that is pretty common around here? I hope I never have to fight someone with a skill like that; I'd probably end up on the floor for the first time in a while, outside of competition." She laughed again, shrugging off her lack of magical talent. "I wonder what the dorms are like? I hear they're pretty big. Hopefully there'll be room for my drums."
