Why do I love the idea of a slightly feminine/ redneck/ gangster/ All-American league blonde boy from Georgia so much? I really amuses me to think that he is the type of person to threaten to "bust a cap in yo scrawny a**" with his shotgun as he takes a sip from his Budweiser before moving on to talking about how he's stuck between if he should go to the football game, the college party, or enter the anime convention's cosplay contest this upcoming Friday. xd
I love Drama Con! That was actually exactly what I was thinking when I went to go find that picture! xd I actually saw the complete collection of Drama Con at Barnes & Nobles and bought it a couple months back... Now if only they had my Skip Beat and Ouran High School there.... I miss Borders. emotion_8c

Dramacon is what got me wanting to go to a convention in the first place XD
Skip Beat is still ongoing and I hope they pick back up with the anime.
emo now I'm reminded that the BAM that was one of few great places to go to in this town left a few months ago.... I have to drive either an hour to Barnes & Noble or 45 mins to BAM in the next county.

I have no idea what Dramacon is, but I think I've heard of it... Borders was a great loss to all of us. As was Tokyo Pop. I still can't believe they were shut down before the release date on the next Hetalia book...
Having an Ohio around would be pretty interesting. If I remember right, Ohio was one of the very first "frontier" states along with KY and TN. Although, from what I've heard about Ohio during the War of 1812 and later environmental disasters, I kind of imagine someone who hates dirt/nature... Which makes it really funny that Ohio could be categorized with KY and TN.

Armelle of the Forest I have no idea what Dramacon is, but I think I've heard of it... Borders was a great loss to all of us. As was Tokyo Pop. I still can't believe they were shut down before the release date on the next Hetalia book... It's a tree volume manga series by a Canadian artist about a girl's adventure at an Anime Convention. It was also a product of Tokyo Pop. I fricken loved this series! Guy in a school girl uniform referance: first page of Vol.1Vol. 2 the gag returns

Ooh, I have seen this before! I thought it was a spin off from that other manga by that one guy which used to be a webcomic... thing... *can't remember title* confused
Huh... Since TN's aversion to cuddles is starting to be questioned, I guess I should clear that up a tidbit. Ahem...
TN basically is like that because of all the horribleness in his childhood I've mentioned before. He didn't have a "mother country" growing up and was more familiar with people trying to shoot him than be sweet to him. He's sweet to NC for the reasons she already said; she raised him and was the first/only person for a long time to even attempt to cuddle him so he got used to her at a young age. TN's only real friend was Kentucky and he got along well with Georgia, but Georgia was still a "distant" eastern state considering where their main settlements were (TN and KY were actually Western States, not part of the South or East until somewhere between 1812 and Mexican-American war when the Midwest and West started to form) Also, TN is notorious for being seriously isolated from the rest of the country during that time because of his mountains. (That's why a lot of old English words/folk music/ballads and stuff survived in Appalachia long after they had died out in other places around the US) So he spent a lot of time alone, too, which didn't help him with his cuddle issues. He's really only "snuggly" with NC and KY (and even then that's using the term loosely) but gets flustered if anyone else tries to cuddle no matter how close he is to them. (although he won't hit or yell at girls for it since that would just be rude to do to a lady... but he still doesn't like it very much. He's actually very tolerant of Georgia since when most people try it he automatically flips or punches them without any real warning. He at least warns Georgia and has allowed a surprising number of hugs to happen without incident. <---That is love)
Seychelles has been the only exception to this stuff so far. Partially because she's a girl but largely because he has a little crush on her. You don't just shrug off your crush.

A company is bringing back Tokoyo Mew Mew and Love Hina by having 2 volumes in one and starting to release them from the begining. Wouldn't happen to be reffering to Aoi House, would ya? It was originally a webcomic (and you can still find it on the web) but later they released it into a manga and altered the style just a tad to look more anime-ish.
