Mushi Manipulator

"If you keep staring long enough into the true darkness..
After awhile, you'll begin to see specks of light in the distance..
..Specks of light that fall into a river of Mushi.."
Summary
This meticulous clan is rather mysterious, due to it's odd nature that revolves nothing around chakra. The clan is in essence a group of people who Hunt, Manipulate, and Capture being of pure life known as the Mushi.
Mushi are beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Due to their ethereal nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi. To properly perceive where the Mushi stand, if one was to extend their hand and use it as a metaphor for evolution, the middle finger, farthest point of the hand would be Humanity, the height of evolution; The thumb would represent plants, the farther down you move toward ones wrist does plant and animal slowly converge into one the same way muscles and veins do, showing where fungi and other beings of that nature exist. To find where Mushi lie one would have to move their hand all the way from the wrist to the heart, showing that they are the purest forms of life.
Do to the extreme nature of these creatures, the personalities of each Mushi-Shi or, Mushi Master, are often extreme. Though, mostly all of these clansmen are good at noticing the minute details that most ordinary people may not recognize. However, these clansmen sacrifice their memories and past existence in order to dedicate themselves to the sole practice of Hunting, Capturing, and Manipulating these various types of Mushi in the Ninja-World.
The Ritual
The Mushi-Shi are cropped from an assortment of villages through-out the continent. Children whom are able to see the essence of pure life, Mushi, are taken or surrendered from their natural villages and adopted into their own culture. The reasons for these unnatural adoption methods is due to the rarity of people whom are able to see these creatures.
Every child whom is adopted is brought to the Mushi-Shi is taught the value of life and are trained every second of their stay within the Temple. At the age of 3, when they can understand simple commands they are taken to the
Lake of True Darkness. Where they are presented to the
Tokoyami, which rise every dawn and consume everything into it's true darkness. The
Tokoyami surround the young child and in this darkness the child must keep One eye closed, and the other open. Within this darkness, one must look for the
Ginko. The
Ginko is a long shining fish-like
Mushi that swims within the
Tokoyami's eternal darkness, and releases those whom it cannot digest, humans, back into the world with it's identity erased and their name forgotten. In order to escape, one must sacrifice the eye they used to walk within the True Darkness to the
Ginko. Those who escape this True Darkness no longer remember their genetic family and no longer remember their names, allowing for another identity to engulf them. The only physical results of this
Ritual is the White Hair, and the Single Green Eye that is left over.
The children whom are still alive and are not completely sacrificed to the
Ginko are then binded with a special type of
Mushi. The
Soujono Hige are alcohol loving
Mushi which, when seen, look much like thin strands of hair and hoard the essence of the
Mushi known as
Koki which looks much like a golden wine and when tasted fills one life with the essence of creation.
