Morgan sighed when the sound of Pietro's voice reached his ears. "I really want to put that jerk in his place. Maybe I'll get Wanda to shut off his powers for a bit. She seems to enjoy seeing him in pain," Morgan said darkly. Pietro was one of those guys who made you alternate between laughing at his antics, and wanting to give him a swift kick in the a** (kind of like Gabe, on of my old classmates). Usually the latter.

Danielle kind of felt bad about lying to Jamie like that, but what was she going to say? "I think my dead abusive father is stalking me. Wanna go get some fries." She wasn't about to say that. She just gave him a nice smile that said thanks. Then listened for Penny's answer, Danielle desided she was going to be in the volleyball game.

"I don't know," Penny answered, "I don't think the flyer said. But I've had a bit of taquilla so I'm not exactly readying straight... I missed Pietro's had with that ball didn't I... although it did sail through two rooms and hit the beach nicely without breaking anything..."

"Hey guys," Porter yelled in through the back, "Anybody who wants to play is supposed to go down to the nets... otherwise Freya might get violent on our a**."

OOC: I Edited this too

IC:
"I guess we'd better get going then." Danielle stated.
She walked out of the beach house, and walked to the volleyball nets on the beach.
Danielle sat down by the nets and waited for everyone to come.

((Don't worry about it Corky...I've had many an off day myself.))

Distracted by the itchy life vest tag, Victoria took a double take as a jet sker flew pass her on the left. Looking up into the distance, she say that it was no other then Corky. "Oh no you didn't!!" she screamed playfully. Game face on she revved up again and sped after Corky who was a couple of yards ahead.

"Alright, now how do I turn this without flipping over?" came the mildly agitated voice of Corky.

Victoria smiled again. Corky didn't seem to know how to turn the thing. Oh this'll be fun. Giving the jet ski all of it's juice Victoria blew past Corky in a whirl of blue and purple. Making sure Corky was enough out of the way, the new girl jerked the handle and swirved across and ended up facing in the opposite direction. Oh, how positively happy she'll be about this. Smiling playfully she shouted, "And THAT is how you turn the thing deary!"

((We should head back...we've been called to a volley ball match...))

Morgan quickly walked to the volleyball nets. He was hoping that there would be a no-powers rule, but if there wasn't he was already thinking up a way to keep Pietro under control. "I sincerely hope that powers are not allowed. This needs to be a fair match," Morgan mumbled, as he walked through the sands down to where the nets were set up.

"Don't worry, if worst comes to worst, we can always have Regina lock him in the shadows for awhile and let the rest of us play a real game," Porter joked sitting on the sidelines with Regina.

-------------------

Penny put down her glass feeling a bit tipsy. The taquilla was really bad which is why she probably got buzzed pretty quickly. Instead of following the rest of them out, she went up to her room to get changed into just a bikini for play. She at on her bed and watched everybody congregating outside through her window and sat down.

"I have such a headache."

|| I can take a hint. : )||

Corky rolled her eyes, but smiled. "Honey, had I the willing to race you right now, your a** would be handed to you. Gift wrapped. But I have a feeling, considering the position of the sun, I'm going to be getting a call soon. And it's much more importent than whatever drama you can imagine, trust me." She shifting her weight so that the jet ski turned. It was a slow process, but the tide helped a little bit. "Though I'm game for a raincheck." She put on a sly smiled and waved before revved the engine, making the water vehicle jet forward before Victoria could say anything.

It was a little sneaky, but that would only be if Victoria though she was racing back. Corky didn't see it that way completely, since the call excuse was true, though it probably wouldn't be as importent as she made it out to be. But Courtney was desperate to talk to her old friends, if only for a little while. She missed them.

Wanda was working on her tan and Freya on her dancing and her Japanese singing when some x-men started to gather around them. Immediately, the blond smiled and went to them to explain the game a bit, hoping the brotherhood would come as well.

"Hey! I'm so glad you made it all!" she said, smiling brightly and eyeing at Porter a bit. "I'm sorry to tell you it's a full power match," she continued, turning her gaze to Morgan. "But don't worry about Pietro. I'm sure Wanda or Noko will keep him under control. I don't trust him and he would trick the match by pushing us on the sand or out of the ball."

"We just want to have fun," plainly said Wanda, not moving from her spot. Once again, she looked like the anti-social type next to Freya but she liked it that way anyway.

When they got back, Jacen went to his room, put away his newly purchased weapon, and then headed back outside. He was somewhat lying when he said that he didn't train much, if at all. Usually, his workouts were pretty....lengthy. And usually against someone. And so he headed towards the beach, and took a cautious jog down southward a ways.

As he sat on top of a sandridge, Jacen looked over the ocean for a second, trying to focus on his energies. It was weird. All the basics he learned, were some what hard to get going. He hadn't tried to even form his 'blade' in his hand since he'd been freed from Ahab's grasp.

"Come on....," Jacen said with a rather annoyed tone of voice. The most it'd do was form up for a second, and then fizzle. Jacen looked at his left hand and formed up an energy orb nearly instantly. That was the first thing he ever learned to do with his power. It was clearly ingrained in his mind and body.

"God....Dammit!," Jacen said with a shout. In a furious ebon blaze, his energy sword appeared in a flash in his right hand. As Jacen started to calm down, he noticed the blade shrinking slightly, and growing fainter in his hand. Interesting..., he thought as he started to think about things that hurt him or managed to strike that one chord. Almost instantly he thought of his familial situations.

The sword burned brightly, almost the length of a full broadsword. "Most interesting," Jacen noted as he stood up and noticed how easy it was for him to swing this around. And as soon as his adrenaline started to hit, he started to become more focused in his swings and swipes. It seemed almost as if the blade was pulsating with energy, almost completely ready to rip someone in half.

Out of the blue, he stopped to calm himself as he caught his breath for a short bit. Smoking had done some damage, but he liked pushing himself. He enjoyed seeing, knowing, and exeperiencing the physical limits of the human body. With at least thirty seconds of rest, Jacen turned that switch back on again as he thought about his family. He was up and shadow-boxing with a very pronounced improvement with his strikes. It was almost surreal to him as he didn't know he was quite capable of this at all. As he thought of something calming.....Penance...he saw himself slowing down a bit, his strikes not making his muscles feel as if his fist impacted a human's face.

"This....is most interesting....so, I imagine, that if I can do that....then......No." Jacen stopped himself from experimenting further. It was probably weird enough seeing a young man weilding a luminous ebon blade. That's when he noticed alot of the people filtering onto the beach. He saw something pertaining to a volleyball game going down today/tonight. He told himself he was going to sit out and just be a spectator, but in the back of his mind, he figured if he could push himself like that, why not a game?

Feeling a bit confident in himself, Jacen jumped from the sandridge and slid, heel first, down to the beach. Briskly, he walked towards the small crowd gathering and noticed the net was already set up.

As he approached the group, Jacen said in his most calmest, yet...intimidating tone, "What team needs an extra player?"

"Oy! Wait fer me!" Teagan called, jumping the railing of the steps and following after everyone. She had changed quickly into shorts and a tank top, slipping a pair of flip flops onto her feet. After almost falling flat on her a** from jumping the railing, she took off out the back door to catch up with everyone else who seemed to have headed down to the volleyball game.

She frowned slightly to herself as she ran down the beach, noticing this had been the second time today they had left without her. She was starting to wonder if she would fit in with the X-Men. You're over thinking things again. She thought to herself, skidding to a hault as she came closer to the nets.

"Don't forget me!" She said, walking up along everyone else.

Victoria raised her eyebrows increduliously at the stunt Corky pulled. Can you say chicken? If Corky truely didn't want to race, she wouldn't have sped of like that would she? Not beliving the lame story, the dark haired girl hit the gas and jetted back toward shore.

The ride back was harder. This time Victoria was going against the wind, which caused the spray to sting her eyes. Note to self: Bring goggles next time. Blinking ferociously, she could just barely make out Corky's figure a little ways off. From the looks of it, she got the hang of it considering she was half way back to the shore. Damn! Even thought Corky's ruse was as see through as wet newspaper, it still gave her a couple second head start, which was more then enough.

"Alright, I'll be there in a minute." He said when Danielle left, and he went up to change into board shorts and a white t-shirt. He walked out of the house and saw Teagan running along the beach. He caught up with her as she was slowing down.

"And who said we forgot you?"

After arriving back at the house, Blair told Rogue he'd see her later and went into his room.

He noticed Bobby asleep on his side of the room and quietly tried to put down his things. Placing his bags of new clothes on the bed, thinking about unpacking them later, he reached in the small box and got out his new sunglasses, black-rimmed and red tinted. He rather enjoyed them and was glad they were on sale; smiling as he put them on.

Shuffling through his bags, he remembered something about a volleyball game. Not wanting to miss out, Blair found his new swimming outfit among the mass of garments and quickly changed.

Grabbing his bottle of 75 SPF sunscreen, Blair ran down the stairs in his skin-tight small black and red wetsuit pants, stopping at right above the knee.

Not wanting to miss the game, he hurried and caught up to the group on the beach. Trying to be socialiable he waved to the people he had talked with before, Jamie, Morgan, Teagan all nearby.

"Hey guys...did I miss much?" he said trying his best to smile without looking creepily-sadistic.
