Had it not been Cali placed her hand on him and it was anyone elses he might have snapped or threw them away from him, but it was Cali and she to him still was a child for now and evermore. His anger subsided a little but was still present. He was no longer growling but tense still. "Fine."

Kuroi waived his staff, with that the army of treefolk moved aside then began to walk away as the call they heeded to has been answered.
Reginald backed away keeping his weapons held ready as he backed away, "Do not think yourself as being invincible Voro... We may be closer to your level... But not just me but all the Demon Knights were selected for our powers, our skills and our abilities... Do you remember what we all did? I am still alive and holding a grudge, I may not be the only one" he said as he turned and began to walk away.
Moonreaper moved over to the window, he could see the large tree creatures retreat.
"It appears to be over... Hmm... Reginald... Everyone must be alive, it is possible that we could've been scattered throughout the land. I know the Knights better then they know themselves, I hunted and haunted thme, stalked their loved ones and killed the friends that got in the way. Some will hold a grudge others will want to be left alone, others will go into hiding and rebuild their lost empires".

Reginald turned around to Voro at his words, "You have no idea how to stop me... I am leaving of my own accord, with my intelligence and my metal shaping ability I am a force to be reckoned with. Created as an experiment I brought down the entire government of my country without them even laying a finger on me. Even if I vanish there are still many others you cannot compete with... What will you do when you fall under Jewel's spell? Or succumb to the armies of undead under Ramses. Even Lunacy is free, Ray, Grog... We are all free... And worst of all... If Yamimaru comes for you this time around... You have no Moonreaper to save you he is like the rest of us" he warned as he turned back and walked away, ignoring Voro if he said anything else to him.
Kuroi moved to pick up Cali again and then moved to Voro placing a hand on his shoulder, "Let us head back" he said then looked at Cali, "Have you had enough of the outdoors?"

Cade yawned, ruffling his hair, "Well, it's been fun seeing ya'll again. But there is a very delightful Lady - not that I mean you, though I wish she was you - waiting for me back home." He turned to Maya, "Aya, open up a portal."
Maya glared at him, cradking Kege, "You could ask nicely, but I'll let it slide for now. I did uhmm... disturb you." She turned and opened a portal, Cade gave a wave and walked through.

Cali clung against Kuroi nodding, despite her blood being what was classified as mostly demonic, she hated any sort of violence
She sighed and looked at Moonreaper "Then it is simply a waiting game till they come for us."

Kuroi quickly arrived back at the mansion, "So... apparently we all survived the book being destroyed.... What do you make of this Moonreaper? You should know more about this seeing as you know... you were the first Knight".
Moonreaper stroked his chin in thought, "It's possible if we all survived the book may still be out there, seeing as we do not have our power the book is no threat to us. And to use it's power and create Knights would require a lot of magical power as well as a ton of blood to even get started. Once the first knight is created then they shall gather more knights each one branded with a weapon to connect them with...." he said then turned to Lavender.
"What do you want to do? Should we search for the book? And try and regain the power we once had? Or shall we just mind our own business, it may be centuries before the book becomes a threat and it's even possible the book does not exist any longer".
Kege was silent still shaking with fear, completely tramitized by what had happened.

She looked at Moonreaper "I am not searching for it. I have no want for power, I have more than I even want." Her voice was soft and depressed
Cali shifted against Kuroi, cuddling closer to him

Moonreaper turned to Lavender, "Is something the matter? You do not seem like yourself, perhaps I said something that upset you?" he asked curiously as he walked closer to Lavender standing before her obediently.

Maya sat down on the bed, placing Kege on her lap. She kissed the top of his head, "Don't worry. It's alright now." she said.

She glanced up at Moonreaper "In a way yes, you know from the first time I had the book I had no want for it or the power that came with it. But this time it is not you that sends my emotions over the edge." She watched Kege and Maya.

Voro glided slowly across the sky towards the mansion taking his time trying to clear his mind and thoughts. so as to not rupt once more he still had that explosive power from blaze and somehow contained its volatile power. He was quite impressed with himself. apparently Reginald did not know what he still retained. He was fool to think he could still somehow win that fight. Voro knew well if they continued to fight he would have unleashed the fire and killed much of the life on the mountain as well as possibly hurt Cali but he would have certainly killed Reginald. His thoughts revolved around this but had to stop if he was going to calm down. HE glided into the room through the window in a gloom state. landing next to Lavender.

Moonreaper looked over at Maya and Kege, he thought for a moment and then responded, "Are you upset that she took away your new born Vampire?" he asked curiously and then looked at Voro, he was quite disgruntled and Moonreaper knew exactly why, though he could not read his mind the look in his eyes he has seen many times before.
"Voro... Do not fool yourself, I can understand your feelings... your power is great but your experience is flawed do not get blinded by the power you have, work on using your power and manipulating it and using it as skill. Allow me to take Reginald as an example, his ability involves controlling heat and metal, he uses heat to melt metal, manipulates it into customized weapons, shields, armor and even specialized ammunition. He can use it at leverage to push and pull his body if something restricts him. That man is an amazing soldier, you have brute power much like Grog but even your no match for his superior strength. My advice is to work hard and refine your skills".
Kuroi looked at Moonreaper, "Moonreaper leave him alone, your not a Knight and Lavender doesn't want the book, give it a rest already your are not a scout for more soldiers, can't you just be happy that you are free?".
The young boy started to calm himself, he was still very upset. Everything he knew had flashed before his eyes, pain that sprung up out of nowhere and an even greater fear of something he could not see.

Voro tried to shut Moonreaper out. He knew nothing of how he was feeling. and the last thing he needed was something to upset him further. He simply stood there cold and statue like looking down at an angle, thinking.

Moonreaper stared at Voro, "You have nothing to say? Not some half witty comeback? Or some insult you want to aim at me? Surprisingly enough this is the most maturity you have shown me" he said looking down at Voro.
Kuroi intervened again, "Moonreaper that is enough, I thought you were getting along this time? Just leave him alone go take a walk or something you continue to put him down you give him advice but why don't you instruct him? Out of all the Knights over the millions of years and lives you were always the most well versed in battle, share that wisdom share your experience" he said imploring Moonreaper to train Voro.
