Roy sighed and put his hand to his forehead. "Let's just strategize here, ok? We should have three groups. One group should go find Synra and Vah, and any other people that are sympathetic to our side and get them to safety. Another group should go find the crew members and get rid of the faceless morphs guarding the cells. The third group should confront the morphs like Grishelda and Madriana to buy the other two groups time to get their job done and escape."
There was a reason why he was the general of the Lycian League. Plenty of possible strategies.

Blossom closed her eyes. She sighed. She nodded once, pursing her lips before agreeing. "All right. I'll fight. There's no other way, and I don't like it. But I'll do it. Whatever the method or plan is, I'll do what's needed of me..."
Blossom put a hand against her scarf, then let it drop into her lap. Please, let the crew be okay. We're coming, very soon. They have to hang in there until then.

Unfortunately for him, his strategies were flawed.
No, Lord Roy, I think that what was meant by "the morphs guarding them" was that we'd have to kill the ones that matter, like Tacitus and Grishelda. That includes the two that people have objections to killing.
There's no way that Madriana would make this so easy for us that we only have to kill some faceless guards that might be on shift at the time. No, she's much more calculating than that.

"Have you been down to the dungeons before Matthew?" asked Roy, looking at the theif. "Those morphs are pretty capable. They may be the charm that prevents us from freeing the crew with the keys."
He recalled how the morphs had let Lilina out to speak with him, and thus had figured that they were the ones they had to take down, not the main morphs.
"But...it could be the more specialized morphs too..." he shrugged.

...You know, there's one other angle we haven't thought of yet: Nino. She was there when Madrianna took over, and she alone managed to escape. We still don't know how she got out of her cell, how she managed to reach us... she might know something we don't."

"At least some of us agree," Melethia said, "No matter what, blood will be spilled....blood was already spilled a few days ago when I went and became a full dragon. There's a dragon slayer in the morph's ranks, he's human though. Only person who saw the full damage I got here was Roy." Edit: "Who has Heath's Key?" She then asked.
