Shoujo Phoenix Guild. I am very sad. My 360 got a hardware failure light (E74). I think at this point it would be better to just buy a brand new one as opposed to paying for repairs and such...since the one light isn't covered under the 3-year.
But alas, I might have access to funds I can put into a new console. My question is where is the best deal for the new ones? The GameStop bundle doesn't look too bad with what's included, but I don't know. Suggestions? Gamestop has some nice bundles. Whatever you do though, don't go for a used one. Bastards at Gamestop will send you a refurbished one and then sell you the hard drive separately.

I was thinking this: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=B020058A&homeflash2
It seems pretty worth it to me...?

I think the E74 error might be the one that is now covered under the 3 year warranty. It has to do with something on the graphics card coming undone or something or other. As for buying a 360, I don't know. I know when mine broke (it got one of the errors too, not the red ring), I just bought a new arcade for 200 dollars. I needed a 4th controller anyway.

I was also thinking even if I got it fixed, how much longer before I need to expand my harddrive (since it isn't very large, it seems), find wireless support, or have it break down again? Maybe the investment would be better in a new one. I don't know! D;
OR get it repaired if I can for free, then sell it off/trade it in somewhere after getting my data off it.

...Dog why did you carry my shiny new game into your kennel? Is it because you like the taste of the plastic film?
Beyond that, how did you get it?
You are a strange creature.

Shouj, that bundle looks pretty nice to me. Phoe, ur doin' it wrong. Observe. Kin, you do realize that you've got a 360 there's Dead Rising 1 and 2 as well as CoD's Nazi zombies waiting for you, right? They're not packaged in the games... but the system itself. The games just let them loose under more controlled circumstances than if they bust loose themselves. But I am interested in that jerky too. [Dill] JUMP OVER FENCE. HORSE DOESN'T COMPLETE ANIMATION, BUT IS STILL MOVING FORWARD. FLYING HORSE. FLYING HORSE CAN NOT CHANGE DIRECTION, JUST TURN WHILE SHOOTING FORWARD IN A STRAIGHT LINE. FLY OFF INTO SUNSET WALL. STILL WON'T STOP FLYING. Ah... time for some RDR green-textan. Ahem. > Riding around near Manzanita Post in the mountains, unloading some pelts while looking for plants. > See a half dozen outlaws come galloping up the trail into the trading post. > Pull my double action shootan' iron and get ready to pop deadeye
> Just as they pass a stand of trees and I get ready to act, bear blazes out of the forest and kills one and his horse in the middle of the group. > I hesitate, just as interested in a good show as any man. > Gang all turns, firing at the bear in their midst. > Bear takes no notice of the bullets and immediately sets out to tearing the whole group to shreds. > Job done, bear grunts once at me before turning to wander off into the forest on the other side of the now corpse-strewn road. > Saying nothing, I holster my weapon and call for my horse to calmly ride off about my business.

Kinetic Dream ...Dog why did you carry my shiny new game into your kennel? You don't play games... YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THUMBS! Is it because you like the taste of the plastic film? Beyond that, how did you get it? You are a strange creature. I fixed your glaring omissions.

You could take your existing harddrive and plug it into an arcade model to save yourself money. I don't think harddrives are system specific or anything like that but you may want to check it out.

This. All pre-360 S (the Slim models) have harddrives that are compatible with other 360 systems. Friend of mine did this and saved himself a fair amount of money.
