Zelyhon Streamjumper Oh, Kin... July 5th is when the High School of the Dead anime starts... Yep. Japan's got zombie problems too. I'll be on XBL a bit tonight. If anyone wants to play, send me a message. If you don't have my tag already its Streamjumper. Heh. One of the few shows that actually has me interested for the past few seasons. I read the manga of HSotD and have been quite enjoying it, so I'll definitely be checking it out. Here's hoping Madhouse does it proud. And also, remember all that stuff I was saying about wanting a 360, but not having the money? Yeah, it turns out that one of my friends with a 360 is going to be upgrading to the new version in a little while, and he's going to sell me his older console for cheap. So I will be getting a 360 to join in with people sometime in the not-too-distant future. biggrin You didn't check out Angel Beats? I really can't explain it, but it is one of the best shows this season. They're up to ep 12 out of 13, and I strongly recommend it just on the unique premise alone, let alone the excellent character development and ******** production values. The others I consider the cream of this season are Working! (restaurant where everyone is pretty ******** up? yesplz.), Heroman (Stan Lee's best work with Japan so far, and it has me hoping for more collaborations), and Kaichou wa Maid Sama. Fairy Tail and Durarara are both superb, but I count them as last season's stuff continuing into this season (and in Fairy Tail's case, maybe longer). Lastly, is a real special case. Katanagatari. 12 episodes. 1 year. Every month they release a single 1 hour episode with a very distinctive art style and incredible production values. Every episode so far has been a complete story, each combining to tell the epic saga of a sword-less swordsman (the traditional style of his family is bare-handed, but is effectively considered swordmanship due to its philosophy and the incredible deadliness of its practitioner) and a shogunate tactician hunting down and collecting (by force) 12 incredibly dangerous swords. If this doesn't get licensed, I'll lose all faith whatsoever in the industry.

However, I don't really follow most sports so much as I'll watch them when I feel like it and (with a few exceptions) decide who to cheer for by whim. I'll always back the Patriots though, and be against the Carolina Hurricanes (since the ******** stopped being the Hartford Whalers and turned their backs on my home state... ******** traitors).

If this doesn't get licensed, I'll lose all faith whatsoever in the industry. I've fallen somewhat out of the loop for watching anime. I have been pretty bad about starting or keeping up with things aside from FMA Brotherhood Angel Beats, I have heard some really good things about. Just kind of vague things since I have been trying to avoid spoiler-ish stuff. I have the first episode, along with a lot of other first episodes, but haven't just sat down and watched yet. Same with Duradura!! Working I hadn't heard much about, but I've been told to watch Heroman, and it's another on the list to go through. Fairy Tail, though, I was not impressed at all with. I read the manga and like it pretty well. I'm certainly not biased against Shounen series, but I just couldn't watch Fairy Tail. The production values were just so, so bad. They're things that do bug me for other shounen series (stock footage before attacks when it's not necessary at all, stills instead of action scenes, etc), but Fairy Tail just used them to the point I couldn't watch. I keep up with and collect the manga, so it's not the story or characters I have a problem with (Erza is, and will always be, totally awesome), but I just can't watch the anime. Katanagari, though, I haven't seen or heard much about. I'm looking into the first episode and I'll hopefully be able to dedicate some time over summer evenings, when I don't have reading for the next day, to watching first episodes and picking series to watch. That, and finishing half-watched things I enjoyed or just never finished, like Kimi ni Todoke or Monster or all the DVDs I've got backlogged. XD

Zelyhon LunaInverse Zero Omega teh CB Guild, I really don't understand soccer : Ball. Kicking. Hopefully into net. Points. Win: Country riots. Lose: Country riots.Pretty much sums up how everyone EXCEPT the US feels about soccer. Oh, and Gaia has made me feel all warm and fuzzy today. Might that have something to do with the shiny TARDIS sitting behind you or some other reason? XD The shiny TARDIS...when I saw that particular pose I squee'd.

Zelyhon Kinetic Dream As an aside, it's so weird, seeing everyone talking about alcohol so definitively now. Originally it was just a handful. Now it's like... the entire guild. Except Suyo. *sitting over in the not much to talk about alcohol club* T___T We've got tea over here. cool

RDR is genius, so much fun.
Borderlands is also epicwin, if you play with people you know rather than random ******** who try to clone weapons/use modified items.

TRYING TO GET ONTO A MOVING TRAIN IN RDR.
JUMP.
HORSE KNOCKS YOU OFF AND JUMPS ON THE TRAIN HIMSELF.
HORSE IS ON THE TRAIN, WHILE JOHN IS ON THE GROUND.
TRY TO CALL HORSE BACK.
HE CAN'T GET OFF THE TRAIN.
THERE HE GOES, OFF INTO THE SUNSET.
