Cady laughs, almost certainly outloud, but continues to speak silently through telepathic words, Then you should find a lycan to torment, but I warn you now, do not lay a finger on the alpha male, or his b***h. Xandora. The thought of fighting her lightened his spirit some, but he was still coonsiderably less excited then he had been when he began talking to Kaei.

He stopped tapping his fingers and placed his arms by his sides.
'Ah yes the Lycans.. in the sewers i saw signs of their residence but have not had the.. pleasure.. of meeting one yet. They still manage to be alot more civilized than certain species around here it must be said..'
A druken man had just staggered into the back of him, and although he didn't move his body, his finger pointed back and a whisper left his lips. The man toppled over his own feet and crashed through a table behind where Oz was hovering, his friends cheered and laughed at him laying in the splintered mess, being probably as drunk as he was.

Cady shakes his head a bit at the man he was talking to, rather than the drunkards antics, The mortals are foolish, nor, ignorant. I kill them for food and sometimes just for fun, but they are undeserving of such treatment. After all, many of us remember being mortal He is, of course, talking about vampires. I care little for most of the people in this city, but be carefull when you pick your fights

Jax sat at the edge of a building watching the people of the city move about in their meaningless lives. "hmph." He slide off the roof into an alley and walk out moving with the flow of the crowd.

Oz was silent for a moment, contemplating over what the vampire had said.
'The mortal should consider himself lucky i simply made him trip over.. And you would not say they were undeserving if you suffered the torture i do from them wherever i go..'
He clenched his bony fists, making his leather gloves creak from the strain.
'And as for remembering what it was like as a mortal.. obese and sweaty was my last experience.. but that has little to concern yourselves with.'
He noticed a newspaper displaying the headline 'Security Guard found dead at airport' with a large picture of the fat guard smiling for the camera, his red jowels sagging over his collar. He shot his glance quickly back to the vampire.

The vampire laughs again, shaking his head, Ah, you really do know nothing about me... And he turns to Kaei, who had been left out of this conversation. He plants a kiss on her lips and take the time to say, "i'm going to hunt, read the journal in my room and you will see what I meant..." before standing up, almost ready to leave. He looks back at the creature he had been talking to, We all suffer the same damnation, the same curse, even the hunters don't fit in with the teeming masses anymore. We live with it, or we are destroyed. It is as simple as that. and now, he does leave.

'Farewell Vespertilio..'
Waiting a few moments for the vampire to leave, he bowed at the second who was seated at the table and also made his way outside. Tugging his robes tighter around himself he hovered off into the dark street, searching for another bar to reside in for the time being.

::koriko sighs heavily as he walks down the street. cigarette in hand, he takes a drag on it and finishes it off. like a true smoker, right down to the filter. he flicks it out into the street as it bounces off a cabies windshield. he continues to walk down the street, looking for something to do.::

Bridget went out again the next nite and managed to take down 4 more vampires; The first being near Central Park with 2 rounds in his back. The second and third were busy terrifying a mother and a baby she killed one fast and took the other one apart piece by piece with her 'Sidhe blade'. The fourth one she let run for a bit thinking he had lost her only to have be there waiting(she needed the work out anyways)... he knew the meaning of fear before he died again permanently.
She kept walking the streets that nite but besides those 4 vampires nothing really came out of it except for the enjoyment of "b***h slapping" a Pimp treating one of the girls badly ....she figured he would be laid up for at least 2 months. It was early morning when she returned to the apartment and sweep her room before taking a shower and going to sleep with her glocks safely under her pillow.

"Consider it done."
*She snapped the phone shut and walked out of the bar.*

Two weeks went by and Bridget had scored 23 kills on vampires and 2 Lycans. It was a 'b***h' because she was trying to keep her word of not killing any of Will's non-human hunters or friends. When not hunting she was busy designing schematics of ideas for killing mass amounts of Vampires in one shot... for Lycans it was easy...just use silver pellets in the claymore mine and the aresol holy water and silver nitrate(better delivery systems).
She also went to see how the renovations of the Brownstone were coming.. sweeping for "bugs" both mundane and magical as it was being worked on. The contractor thought Bridget 'strange' for her explicit demand he use only people that worked for him at least 4 years. But she was the Boss and she was paying him and his crew premium wages for the work... he wasn't going to let a little ecentricity ruin that. She also paid well for the security of the site after the work site closed last every nite.

Cady sits on a roof and listens, listens as hard as he can to things, the 'voices' in his head which he knew to be the overflowing thoughts of mortals, as well as the much clearer, stronger willing messages of vampires. He had been doing this every night for a while since he came back to New York, and he found he couldn't bare the wails of dying vampires, and had to stop listening when a hunter killed one nearby. And one image was ringing out through many of these deaths, many fledgelings falling to the same face, the same hunter. By now, Cady had the face of Bridget Sommers imprinted in his mind, and a deap seated hatred for the face, though he didn't quite know who she was. Among the mortal masses, a single face was next to impossible to find, but were he to find her it would not be the gentle torture he inflicted on his favorite adversary, Xandora, it would be swift retribution. But, for now, he waits and listens.

Cady hops off the roof and swoops towards the ground, rather than simply falling he seems to glide foreward slightly as he drops, and his feet gently touch the ground, where he immidiately begins walking. He was still listening to the voices, the din of a thousand mortal souls beating against his head, each one almost distinct but not quite. It was like being in a crowded concert hall, but being able to hear everyone, not just the ones near you. And there were the vampires, the thoughs they spoke to one another over sometimes vast distances, through mind after mind in a great chain. These were like the amplified voices from the stage, and far rarer. Even among those old enough to use the gift, or the curse, many did not know how, or chose not to. It was a shame, really, the race was loosing its... power. Too many fledgelings, and yet he did not want to see them destroyed. Enough. Time to feed.
The night's feeding was swift and joyless, simply a homeless man who would die of the cold or some illness soon enough anyway. Cady drank from him untill his body would yield no more blood, and dropped him in a dumpster, which was then lit aflame.
