Bookman had still not returned from his business, something Lavi was taking terrible advantage of by spending his off-duty time doing next to nothing. He was off to the kitchen for some lunch, or more like breakfast in his case. He strode in, a large smile appearing on his face at the sight of Liv already there. "Hey Liv~" He said cheerfully, leaning against the counter. "How've you been?"

"Lavi~" Liv smiled and set the rag down, wiping her hands on her skirt before standing on her toes to give him a gentle hug, "I've been alright. Getting used to the daily grind again after such a long vacation," she laughed a little, "What about you? Did you enjoy the rest of your vacation? I didn't get to see you the last few days there. Did everything get worked out..?"

"Um... yes and no." His eyebrows creased at the memory of the last few days at the beach. "We made up and... kind of got busted... by Kyle." He uttered the young man's name with disgust, his thoughts on him possibly tarnished forever in the relatively short time that they'd known eachother. "He's being a bit of an a** about it, but whatever it takes to keep him quiet, I guess... But things with Sil have been... pretty great lately," he smiled a little, "So can't complain, really."

Liv gritted her teeth and rested a hand on the counter top. She couldn't believe Kyle was exploiting Lavi and Sil that way. She would definitely give him a stern talking to. After everything she was trying to do to help Kiah's father, there would be no way for Kyle to refuse to leave Lavi and Sil alone. Her fingers drummed on the surface of the counter as she spoke, "I see. Well, it seems I'll have to talk to him about that. Don't worry Lavi, " she patted his arm, "I'll set him straight."
