((SOMEONE UP IN THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO RP K? K. Idk))

Sil sipped her coffee slowly, savoring the sharp scent and the bitter taste that kept her alert. The substance had replaced other bad habits in her life, mainly cigarettes, and as she sat across from the moping form of the lovely young guardian she created, coffee was just simply not strong enough to cover the spread. Sometimes she wondered if this was what having a teenage daughter was like, with pouting and seething glares pointed in her direction because she had not acquiesced to the request given to her. “You can glare all you want. I’m not changing my mind.”

Eira made an undignified noise in the back of her throat. “You’re impossible!” She cried, the way she stated the phrase accentuating her British accent quite wildly, her pale lip protruding as if carrying the weight of her emotions. With most people she could get her way with a snap of her fingers, especially the males of the Order, and right now she was cursing Sil's gender and her hard-headedness vehemently within her own mind.

“I get that a lot,” Sil said nonchalantly, glancing out of the Common Room window to see a light summers rain slowly dripping down the panes of glass. After their warm vacation in New Zealand, she had almost started missing the rain. “If you agree to my terms then we’ll renegotiate, but not until then. I don’t need you attracting any more trouble for me. Now can I finish my coffee?”

The young woman seemed to want to argue further, made a few huffing noises (which was rather impressive considering she didn’t actually need to breathe) then settled down. She had her long legs tucked up into the chair, elbow resting atop one of her knees as she stared rather boredly out of the window with her ethereal icy eyes. Some company, silent and seething or not, was better than none.

((FINE, I'LL RP WITH YOU...s**t, I keep forgetting to PM you that whole Magic thing you wanted...arrrrgh, why can't I think straight? gonk ))

Rainy days were not particularly Mizaka's favorite thing. The falling drops would often give out a melancholy feel in the air, even if the showers were light, like this one currently was. Not to mention that rain was often accompanied by thunder and, childish as it may seem, Mizaka had still not gotten over her old childhood fear of storms. With a sigh, the young girl entered the Common Room, seeing as how there was not much for her to do at the moment. Besides, she could use some company if she happened to come across anyone.

"Ah...hello, Sil." Mizaka waved at the other woman as she closed the door behind her. "Oh, and Eira's here, too. How are you?"

((DEAR GOD WHO WOULD PUT THEMSELVES THROUGH RPING WITH ME JACK!? <3 Also PM me then womannnnn >:0 <33

Welcome home Chaoe ;u; ))

"Could be worse," and
"Awful"came out of two mouths simultaneously, melding together at the greeting. Sil rolled her eyes at the other woman's words, thinking she was utterly overreacting, but 'pot calling the kettle black' didn't even begin to cover that hypocracy. "Just enjoying the rain and, you know, being alive in general," her emphasis on the phrase was not so subtly directed at the young woman sitting alone in the parlor chair. "Suddenly glad that I have no intention to have children in my lifetime, that's for sure."

"Did you just call me a child?" Eira's voice rose in pitch. "From what I have ascertained I am at least a century older than you! I bet Mizaka is far nicer to Jack than you are to me."

"Oh, because I didn't create two separate, and might I add, incredibly attractive, functional bodies for you so you're not just some floating apparition," Sil shot back, seeming to be getting annoyed with her companions words. However, her irritation led for her to shut off any communication what-so-ever and she slid over to the edge of the couch to turn her shoulder mostly to Eira, her attention on Mizaka. "But how are you, Mizaka? You seem a little... uhm... well, I'm not sure what... not quite yourself, I suppose."

((Chaooooeeee <3

Yeah, I'm writing it right now. Sorry for the wait x_x))

Mizaka couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the interaction between the two. Such bickering was not new to her.

"I wouldn't say that..." she looked at Eira with a small smile. "Jack and I get at each other's throats quite often." It was true; the two of them would often fight like siblings, and it was usually over insignificant things. Mizaka looked at Sil with a frown when the other woman made the comment. "It's the rain. I'm not a rain person." She sighed a bit before taking a seat on the couch next to her companion. "I hope it doesn't storm today..."

Eira did not seem pleased with Mizaka's answer, preferring to keep her feeling of being victimized rather than normalized with the rest of the ethereal crowd. "How do you not kill each other?"

Sil snorted at the irony of that question, since only one of them was technically alive. Eira apparently didn't find it funny and sent her a little glare as if she thought Sil were patronizing her. However, the young Italian kept her lips sealed and her attention on Mizaka, not wanting to feud too deeply in front of the young woman. "Well, we are in England, where rain clouds reign supreme over the mighty sunlight," the young woman tilted her head. "What's so wrong with the rain, anyway? I always love days where you can listen to the sound of it-- and the smell," she took a deep breath as if she could fill her lungs with the scent of wet earth even with all the windows still tightly shut, pleasure on her face.

((@Chaoe: EEEEEE I KNOOOOOOOW~ I was so happy when I found it emotion_kirakira

@Sil: Almost done with the ********, my fingers gonk ))

Mizaka couldn't help but laugh a bit at Eira's question. "Well, for one thing, Jack is already dead, so I can't exactly kill him. And if he did end up killing me, our bond would break instantly and he would be sent back to Hell." She nodded her head, as if this was the most obvious thing in the world.

Mizaka pursed her lips a little at Sil's question and shifted in her seat. "...Not to sound like a killjoy and ruin your love for the rain or anything, but...my parents died during a storm and it's kinda haunted me ever since..." She looked away and rubbed her arms nervously. "I don't like talking about it much..."

((Chaoeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. *Snugglecling.* ;~;

Jack: O:! *Goes off to read and kisses fingers.*

"Ugh," Eira wrinkled her nose as she imagined the bowels of Hell opening up and swallowing anyone who broke their bond. "Does that happen to anyone who breaks their bond? Hell, I mean. I have no idea what that's like, but it sounds ghastly."

"I'm right here, so at least plot my murder more quietly," Sil stated, though there was a hint of sarcasm to her voice since she never expected Eira would actually try anything so drastic. The two of them did not get along sometimes, that was obvious enough, but it certainly was not any higher level of disagreement than she had with others.

To Mizaka, she frowned at the news, understanding why the rain may have had some rather unpleasant memories attached to it. However, she wondered how she handled the landscape they inhabited which was often shrouded in grey storm clouds to create the lush island around them. "I can see why," Sil said quietly, thinking back to the day her father died, and later to the day her mother did as well. The memories were hazy now, but as she recalled both days were perfectly, disgustingly pristine, and she wondered how many beautiful days she had enjoyed that had been blighted in someone else's life."Well since we're smartly avoiding any tear inducing subjects... what are some things you like to do, Mizaka. I feel like all we've ever talked about is your job, not much about you, though." Her face was keen, interested; the young woman she questioned was fascinating, considering the life she lived and how young she appeared.

Mizaka shook her head at Eira's question. "Only if the Spirit was originally from Hell. If they're from Heaven, then they'll go back there if the bond breaks." She remembered that Eira was, in fact, a Lost Spirit, and thus didn't belong in neither Heaven or Hell. Mizaka briefly wondered what would happen to the guardian had her bond with Sil broke for whatever reason...

The young girl looked at Sil in surprise. "What are my interests?" She quietly thought for a bit. Mizaka didn't really see herself as the interesting type...then again, she hardly ever talks about herself. "Well...I like reading. In fact, I can speed-read a whole novel in less than a week." She couldn't help but smile, feeling so strangely proud of such a useless talent at the moment. "Oh, and I like children, which might come off as a surprise to most people..."

Eira was contemplating the same question-- as far as she knew, Heaven or Hell hadn't been her destination before she was miraculously brought back to life. Then again, the miracle part of it was yet to be set in stone, since her new grant of life was of a questionable sorts. "Mizaka..." her voice trailed off for a moment, and Sil wondered if the marble woman had completely missed the memo that she was trying to have an actual normal conversation with the young woman that had joined them. "Have you actually... seen another spirit that was given their own body to use?"

"Eira, you know she might like to have a normal, human conversation every so often," Sil said with a hint of irritation to her voice, though she couldn't help but wonder the same as Eira had asked. From what she had seen Jack was still a spirit, while Eira was, for all intensive purposes, some form of alive.

The young woman flicked her long, silvery hair over her shoulder, her chin tipping upwards pretentiously. "Well you're utterly unhelpful on the subject and she is the only expert I know of, so hopefully she doesn't mind too terribly."

The Exorcist rubbed her temples as a soft hiss of air left her lungs-- Eira knew how to push her buttons, especially when it came to knowledge. She was right; Sil knew next to nothing about the sorcery she had messed with and had been blithely ignoring it over the last few months. "You must be pretty smart then, I bet," she continued once she had recovered. "Why kids, though? I mean, not that I dislike them. You just seem young to be a natural with kids. How old are you, anyway...?"

The frown had returned on Mizaka's face. "Actually, now that I think about it, we haven't discussed about your Artificial Magic, Sil..." The girl looked at the older woman seriously, quietly scolding herself for letting such an important topic go unnoticed for the last couple of months. "You haven't been feeling...strange or anything? Can you control your Magic properly?" Mizaka looked back at Eira and shook her head. "No. Regular Magic can't create new bodies for Sprits..."

Although it was important that they focused on Sil's use of Artificial Magic, Mizaka realized that it was nice to talk about something other than her job for a change. Maybe they could balance out the two conversations... "Well, I was the youngest to graduate from the Soul Academy, so I guess I am pretty smart," she answered sheepishly. "I really don't know why. I guess I was just born being a natural with kids. And I'm 14, though I've been told that I look older..."
PostPosted: Sun Jul 08, 2012 7:31 pm

"What magic?" Sil's face was a blank slate at the mention of magic, something she had not gone near since the creation of Eira several months ago. "If you mean her," she flicked a thumb at the pale beauty, "No issues other than her occasional attitude problem. Other than that, I haven't been messing with any of that sorcery business since this little mishap. My skull is not so thick that this lesson didn't stick. I'm done pulling rabbits out of hats... or... spirits out of snowstorms."

"Hah!" Eira chirped, "I have attitude problems? That is rich coming from you." However, with the turn of the conversation her attention was caught-- Sil had mentioned in very brief passing that the magic might eventually hurt her, but she had never elaborated on the subject and had gently swept it under the rug as easily as she had mentioned it.

Mizaka's return to her question shocked her, cold and harsh. "Fourteen?" Sil gasped, seeming to be part of that population who thought Mizaka was older than she actually was, especially with the way she carried herself. The realization wrenched her stomach and she frowned, crossing her arms along her chest before she sunk into the cushions of the couch with her brows knitting as dark thoughts weighted them. "I hoped the Order was the only place that sent children out to fight wars..."

(( *Peer-pressured* ))

Trying to find something to do on a rainy day while in the castle was a lot harder to do than Kyle had originally thought. Nearly anyone worth talking to was either in the training room, taking advantage of the extra time allotted since they couldn't go outside, or huddled up somewhere quiet to enjoy the relaxing sound of raindrops hitting the window. There were also those few who actually enjoyed getting soaked to the bone and catching colds -Even if they may be afraid of large bodies of water-, but that was another story altogether.

So, deciding that the Common Room would probably be his best bet for a bit of company, he started ambling his way there, sighing exasperatedly at the lack of people everywhere else. The thought that they might be avoiding him because of his annoying, narcissistic personality never even crossed his mind. Finally arriving at his destination, he spotted the three girls in the room, giving them his trademark smile. He made sure to wiggle his eyebrows at Sil, remembering their little deal made at the beach.

"Well, hello ladies~! You're all brightening up my day with your beauty already~," he exclaimed, missing all of the conversation and walking over to the couch to plop down next to Sil like he owned the place. "So, what are we talking about?"
