Yeah... that makes like... no IC sense.

Unless Tac just likes healing his opponents before a fight to the death.

Whatever you want. The ability to manage his body to some degree basically means that he can stand for a while before he collapses. At this point he's running on putting most of his remaining will and magic that should be the tiny trick sustaining the silver (why it's expanding to water again) on keeping himself upright. I'm trying to remember he's in no condition to do his usual fine tuned actions, but as far as I'm considered semi-roughened, unremarkable actions in combat are fine. At this point he's not fighting at improved human speed/strength, but at slightly woozy guy's stuff. Probably boost his strength for single stunts, at a lil' price.

The real pain will come later, when he runs out of juice/adrenaline to keep it all in check.

But with all that said, I'm not worried about him. Honestly, never really was. Mindblaze is ******** crazy, but Rivven is a survivor more than anything and everything else. I'm just tired of this fight by now... I usually am good about keeping things up and just plodding on, but it's been nine pages of just them fighting, in not quite my ideal combat. At this point, I really just want to stick his hands into that burning crack and pull Mindblaze in two, and say it's over.

So, maybe Mindblaze would want to run to escape his future going from Guy-with-a-trillion-souls-worth-of-power to just Guy.

I dunno. It'd feel anticlimatic for sure... but I am less worried about that than... well, honestly, pretty much just that Rivven doesn't actually die, incase Morgan pulls through or sneaks a computer to herself somehow again before I can think of a plot twist that has him ressurrected again, and somehow allows him not to disappear back to his old position as slave and forced combatant. That's all that really matters here, besides having fun. Which is sort of... off, to on a little, to just off for me in this fight.

And I'd post in the Infirmary with him after, but... no. I just don't feel like taking him too far. IC, he'd probably head home to rest ASAP too. There's a healer there, and he'd rather see him then sleep on his own bed where he can see his wife and daughter while the magic speeds his recovery from weeks to week, his self from week to about half (assuming he gets a particularly good supply of energy back, which would be likely just as soon as he's fit enough to move about a little again).

Though I'm missing the point. Maybe, but probably not. I just don't feel like touching him except to get that art of him and Morgan done, and to finish his bio and things he's already in, like this tourney, for now. I don't want him sucked into a plot. He's been a big character of mine, but he's more for Black Amber than everywhere, adaptable but committed there. And I'm babbling, but point is, I'm counting on her to kick this thing in the a** when we least expected like before, and I want to be around and ready to do as much as I can, talk, RP, or visit if they'll permit me, when she does.

Dammit, I did an emo rant again. Sorry Jello, hopefully this is the last for tonight. I need to quit working on this guy and go back to HoH and active RP's elsewhere.

I just might have to take a look at that HoH thing while it's going on.

While Tacitus is of a more Neutral Good alignment with lawful tendencies, Aetas (his Deity) can work on any one of the axiomatic, anarchic, holy, and unholy aspects just as well as any of the others. Time doesn't care what you are, just as long as you exist and time continues.

Tacitus never came here to win. Tacitus came to fight and recruit. He's not going to enter a fight knowing his opponent isn't at their best and will make sure it doesn't happen. Hell, he'll even ask to postpone the fight IC if need be. He'll fight to his fullest to push his limits and test himself and his opponent, but he doesn't want to kill as its something he's only ever done a very few times, and most of those have a chance at being saved as they are in temporal stasis.

And Fish, thats exactly what you should do. Thats kinda why he doesn't want the crack facing Rivven. XD

Hmm...Try to knock the blades of ice back at hector via the never-extinguish (you know this woulda been done) or make his own blades of ice mine as well? This I wonder.

How are you all doing?

Guess the fight just ended then? I'll post later.

The whole flurry of strikes was aimed to make him come closer like he did, or twist his shoulders to catch/throw a punch, at which point Rivven intended to bear-hug under his arms despite flames and rip him open.

And Dreslin, I'll post after I get home from school today. Arrogant as this may sound: the next post will end the first round of our spar. You missed addressing something dreadfully important in your last post. XD;

Ah ah, no can do, Dreslin. I'm not trying to be an a*****e; I'm just saying, when in a roleplay match, one misses an obvious detail that willingly can cause harm - they must pay the consequence for that blunder, not get a veto out of it by getting to magically re-edit the original post so they do see the attack.

I will, however, explain just what your blunder was. Nothing technical, nothing complicated; in fact, it was a very simple matter, which you probably just overlooked whilst trying to counter the aggressive elements of my attacks.

The sword my character wields is currently digging across your staff [over your back], keeping the hand holding that weapon in place. The matters involving my other fist, my now-averted foot you are holding, etc. aside- my character has done something amazingly simple.

Let the blade come over, casually shift it a few inches over [this being over your shoulder already with nothing between it and your neck, mind you, since you had shifted the staff off that area to try and sweep my character's legs out]- and placing an edge [it already being at a horizontal-to-diagonal placement] of the blade to your throat.

The left hand, now unable to strike you [since raring my fist forward with that gauntlet would just ******** up my character's leg,] will slip past the foot, at the cost of all of the fist's force- but will plant it's fingertips against your opposite shoulder, reinforcing your placement against the blade edge. Since, this is a match not intended to be fatal, the first round of our spar would end- for all of our limbs can currently cancel one anothers' out, save, my right hand & it's blade.

[Note that, I allowed my character's one free foot, the one you aren't holding onto, to lift off the ground just a tad, and plant the bottom of it's ridged boot at your as of yet, unmoved right foot. Trying to shift me off-balance would be unwise. I recommend having your character try to stop himself right-out. =P If you were to raise your staff in a means of warding off that hand, the blade may very well slit your neck prior to being thrown off course. This, naturally, would mean death, lest your character decides to pull off some kind of technique or ability negating this - and as we agreed, such matters would not be resorted to for a friendly bout. Thus, again: I consider this first part of our spar, concluded. :Toad:

Also, irrelevant, but if you had gotten my character's balance off/took his legs out from him, he would've probably tried to shift his momentum into Arcanine, since the fellow's staff is beneath his shoulder line - since, the staff is attempting to take Omi's one-balanced leg out from beneath him. And then, you would have had to handle the blade at a much more close-ranged nature - you could probably get a nice blow off with the staff, but the blade would most assuredly reach the upper section of your body, since my character's knees would be locking in the ol' staff.

I think, the actual post itself explains things better than my ramblings, though. XD; If you wish [I certainly wouldn't mind,] we can give another round a shot. I.. can just.. only ask this, and I beg you of it: Please, in the ensuing dialog, don't have Arc try anything, since they're not spaced out far apart. You know what I mean.

*smiles greatly* My guy can dodge your sword strike if it was in full motion, the foot slamming, and possibly the fingertips if executed correctly. You can thank Yoga and martial arts. I'll post when I can later tonight to show you what I mean. Gotta dash for now.

There's the issue, Dreslin: It's not a sword strike. It was already on your shoulder, it took maybe.. a light shifting in one direction to be at your neck. XD;

And for the love of God, it seems I haven't lost my touch at ol' Gunz. First match, went from levels 1 to 6, 1 hour/30 minute game, 100 kills. My score: 100. Closest enemy score: 33. Out of 12 people.

Fingers're cramp'd like Hell, though. ;.;
