((Welcome back Chaoe, and Jack too, I forgot to say that ;-; When I RP I tend to forget about other people's posts orz))
Even though she didn't say it out loud, Lavi knew what she was thinking and he nodded a little, casting his own gaze downward. But like her, he decided not to dwell on it at the moment and he grinned amusedly at her next words. "Yes, ma'am." The guilty feelings took on new reasons, though, hearing her say how much she hated spending time apart, knowing that if it weren't for his position they needn't avoid each other so much. "Okay. I can do that." He said softly with a small smile, taking her hand again to lead them down to the blanket. "I know I'm not supposed to question all of this, but..." when they'd reached the basket he paused to let go of her hand and to pick up one of the fishing poles, "...why fishing?"

She was happy that he decided to accept her words, her hand easily moving inside of his again as he was the one that led her over to the blanket. She eased herself down onto the blanket, lifting her now freed hand to rub her neck gently as he asked her the question. "Well... It's silly," she said shyly, tucking her knees to her chest. "A long time ago... probably eight or nine months at least, we were having a conversation with Chaoe about what we wanted to do when the war was over... and of course you had to be difficult at first since you're technically doing what you want to, being a Bookman," she chewed her lip with a small tilt of her head. "My memory isn't a quarter what yours is... but if I remember right, you said if you had to choose something you would want to be a fisherman, relaxing somewhere nice and quiet without all the stress and mess," she looked down at the soft, green fleece beneath her, drawing lazy circles along the fur with the tip of her finger. "I... just thought that you must like fishing if you were willing to do it for the rest of your life had you been dealt a different hand."
((What book are you looking for, Jack? ;u; ALSO I WAS INSINUATING DIRTY THINGS.
*Sends Satyr Sil to Chaoe's rescue.*
