((@Kiah: NEVEEEEEER *rolls with you on the floor*
@Sil: I KNOW WHICH STORY YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! It was the one where the world was in complete darkness, so Raven went off to find light. He came across a house that was absolutely shining with light, and he turned himself into a pine needle and dropped into the water, and the girl who lived in the house swallowed him while she was drinking from said water. Nine months later, she gave birth to a raven-billed baby, who later grabbed a hold of a sack that held the sun and popped it, thus releasing the sun and giving the world light.
I'm sure there are different versions of the story, but this is the one I remember reading for the first time.))

Lavi sighed through his nose at Sil's intentional stalling, completing his impatient image by jokingly tapping his foot on the ground. "It's true, I'm no good at waiting. But that's a good sign, right? I could also not be interested in your surprise at all~" He teased. His growing curiosity was thankfully satiated once she removed her hand and revealed the sight she had been so mysterious about. His freed eye trailed along the picnic she'd set out and the two fishing poles, which made his eyebrow quirk in wonder as he didn't recall her ever saying she liked to fish. The curious smile that had been on his face for the length of the mysterious journey through the woods stretched into a bigger, delighted one. As if she were psychic, the moment the question of what he'd done to deserve a surprise picnic popped into his head, she gave the answer.
"Has it been...?" He quickly counted back in his head to that moment on New Year's Eve, completely unaware that it had already been so long ago since they'd given the two of them a chance. He wasn't entirely sure which days one was supposed to celebrate when in a relationship, he could manage Valentine's Day and he figured yearly anniversaries were also a big deal, but he wouldn't have thought to do something special after six months. "Well, s**t..." He laughed a little nervously, a guilty squirm plaguing his stomach. "I didn't know... I don't have anything. I really am a crappy boyfriend."
