Finding Italian myths was hard for me since most of Italian mythology is Greek mythology... >___>;;

"I suppose not... but it was worth a try." His eyebrows raised at the mention of a mystery, intrigued. He watched her run out of the room in surprise before sprinting off after her, trying not to bump into anyone on the way. Once outside and seeing her stop a little further away, he slowed down. "I wasn't trying to outrun you. You're the kidnapper, I don't know where we're going." He countered, coming to a stop once he'd reached her. He looked down at the hand she was holding out and took it in his with a smile. "I'm kind of a crazy hostage for following you, though. I think I have Stockholm syndrome."

(They're apparently a lot taller than a normal person...
I'd need to have this guy in a human form most of the time then..and i'm gonna need to figure out how to stay true to the myth but not have him kill people. :I
pft..maybe some sort of shady or high-class clinic that donates raw human meat/organs they can't use or need to throw out? I dunno..

and height?...compared to a child? Dunno.
It would suckkkkkkk to be one...apparently they can never get full or feel satisfied no matter how much they eat..this kids stomach is gonna be a-growlin' and he's gonna be eating non-stop.(probably won't gain a pound from it either..) It's also gonna be tough for him to make friends since he'd probably be giving the hungry eyes to everyone he meets. :I )

"Well, I am just about the best damn kidnapper you'll ever have," she squeezed his hand, the press of palms and tangled fingers fall between them. Finally anchored together she continued on with their journey still giving no hints as to where they were going and why. "Hopefully the last you'll ever have, too."
The walk was not a long one, though not short either. They kept winding their way through the dappled shadows of leaves, overstepping branches and easing through the forest landscape. As they reached a large rock blocking their view of the other side, she smiled knowingly and glanced over at the young man. The faint sound of running water could be heard on the other side, trickling harmoniously along the forest rocks. She released his hand then and gracefully lept onto his back. One of her arms draped around his shoulders to help hold her up while her other hand returned to his other good eye, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of his neck. "Alright, now... take... ten steps to the left... then... four to the right... and try not to whack my head into a tree branch while you do it. Easy, huh?" She laughed, her chest falling and rising against his back as she did so and she nuzzled the spot she had just kissed lovingly. One might even think she had planned this trip.

"Hopefully." He agreed, sure he wouldn't enjoy another kidnapping as much as this one, even if he wasn't entirely sure where she was leading him. He glanced around him as they walked, looking for anything familiar that might tell him where they were. When they reached the large rock he intended to walk around to see what was behind, but his attempt was soon foiled by Sil taking up her usual spot on his back and blinding him again. He listened to her instructions with creased eyebrows, increasingly puzzled by this mystery of hers. "What are you up to? And can't I just take six steps to the left...?" He wondered out loud, but did as she said anyway, taking careful steps as not to trip over any roots or branches on the ground. "You're just going to have to look out for tree branches yourself, by the way, I can't see." After the required number of steps he stopped and crossed his arms. "Okay, what's next?"

(Okay, practically everywhere I look it says it's like...fifteen feet tall. > ->;;
Also says many believe the reason it has no lips is 'cause it was so hungry it ate its own lips off. So I guess this guy is gonna be one of those lip-nibblers that do it most of the time and not just from stress. Bad-habits ftw.
