I'm just saying that there are a lot of anime protagonists who take the "I will never kill" ideal, and then spend the rest of the show being thrown the most evil and kill-worthy mutha ******** around. Its kinda like batman and the joker. He obviously should kill the guy, it would save so many lives and do the world some justice. Thats why I think its funny when Seijiro criticizes Kenshin for murder, when Seijiro murders ALL the time and saves tons of people for it, including Kenshin.

Fenrir Graveheart It is kind of cliche when you think about it. "MUR I DUN WANNA KILL FOLKS" but then there are situations where you know good and damn well that one should but it 'is against their principle therefore they refuse to do it.' bullshit. When it comes to Seijiro I just see it as a double standard like a ********.
Then again a lot of aspects of Rurouni Kenshin were a bit cliche such as the fact he dedicated his life to protecting the weak and desperate peasants from those who would oppress them. Doesn't that sound like a good amount of superheros? Kind of like how superman when resolved to use his powers from then on only for the good of mankind at the age of eighteen. I dunno I liked the anime, just some parts were overdone which somewhat set it a bit lower on my list if ya get what I'm saying

It comes from a "I have to be better than my enemies" mentality most of the time. Just like Batman; if he kills he's no better than the criminals he brings in. He's a danger to society, but he never gets taken in because he never crosses one line. Still, beating somebody within an inch of their life...

razieltheprince The only way that could happen is if we did that in the Practice Arena and set both characters to level two because Kitty doesn't know anything.
