The pharaoh set out, with Isis following him closely. Seto was darkly thinking of ways to get back at Isis and Atem seemed to have drifted away in thought. Not that long later, they arrived at the village, where anybody out on the streets stopped what they were doing to stare, wide-eyed, at the pharaoh, and then quickly press themselves against the ground in a low bow. One particular woman both Isis and Seto recognized glared slightly before kneeling down, her whole form tensing up. Atem got off of the horse after slowing it to a walk, and then turned towards Seto. "Which hut?" Bakura, who had been sleeping besides Rei, awoke at the abrupt silence. He had been lulled to sleep by the busy sounds outside of people, and then it all suddenly stopped. He jerked up, knowing that there weren't that many things that would cause a whole village to suddenly stop. Getting to his feet in a flash, he pulled on his kilt from before and thrust his arms through the sleeves of his red robe.

Rei who had been woken by the lack of bakura beside her groaned softly sitting up.She then noticed the quiet and quickly put on her dress.
Nanu was looking around in wonder as everybody bowed.She noticed atem get off the horse and wondered if he wanted her to get off as well.

Atem gestured for Nanu to do so Seto glanced around, then gestured towards the hut that Bakura was in. As if on cue Bakura whipped aside the curtain hanging over the doorway and strode out. Seeing the pharaoh his eyes narrowed, his lips pulling backwards into a snarl. Atem held up his hands to show that they were empty, but the look of anger on Bakura's face told them that he wouldn't care. For a moment he just stood there, trembling slightly, and then he sneered. "Ah, the pharaoh has finally graced me with his appearance. I was wondering when you would come." he said, mocking a little bow. "Once your priestess came I knew it had to be serious." He laughed, though his laugh was hollow and his burning gaze was fixed on Atem, no humor in his eyes. "Now, what have you come here for? Come to drag me back to your palace because your priestess was too weak to do so herself, and your priest too cowardly? Or have you come to apologize and hope I won't kill you too slowly?"

Nanu slid of the horse with a squeek. She looked up as she heard a voice and guessed the white haired man was bakura.
Rei had steped out after bakura and glared at seto "Finaly got brave enough to show up in your own body huh?" she said crossing her arms "Bout damn time."

Seto growled warningly, and Isis grabbed his shoulder in a tight grip as Atem stepped forward. "Bakura, I have come to apologize. And to give you an offer. Though we have both done awful things to each other in the past, I would like to give you a second chance--"
Bakura let out a bark of laughter at that. "You, give me another chance? I am not the one who has wronged you as much as you have RUINED... MY... LIFE!"
Atem was silent, then continued as though Bakura had not made an outburst. "And that you will extend that to me as well. I will not mess with me so long as you do the same and don't hurt or steal from any of my people. I can kill you right now, Bakura, but have decided that even someone like you should get to be happy." His gaze flickered over at Rei as he said this, and Bakura let out an angry hiss.
"You... you think I would even consider such a thing?" He spat, eyes narrowed. "To just forget about everything you and your royal family have done to MY people? To ME?!" He felt ready to lunge at Atem, but had a weary eye on Seto and Isis. If he attacked, they would have a clear shot to get at Rei. His gaze slowly went back to the pharaoh, then over to the girl he had brought with him. His cold gaze studied her icily, then flicked back towards the pharaoh as he considered what to do.

Rei reached out and grabed bakuras hand gently. She then glared at thepharoh "you picked a dandy time to apologize..Dont you think you should have done that a bit sooner?" she glared at him.She then looked to seto "And I will will warn you only once priest.You come within arms reach of me you will regret it" she said glaring.
Nanu's felt the icy cold gazeon her.She kept her eyes on her feet her hands clasped toghther infront of her.

Bakura pulled his hand out of Rei's hold and suddenly knelt down, bowing before the pharaoh, his hair shadowing most of his face. A few teardrops fell onto the sandy ground below him, and his form was trembling slightly. "I-I apologize for my outburst ph-pharaoh..." He gasped, still shaking slightly. "It is very kind of you indeed to have offered me such a thing. To turn it down would be foolish of me." He stayed where he was, still shaking slightly, not daring to look up. Atem hesitated. Was this a trick? But still, such a large part of him longed for Bakura's words to be true that he set aside his natural worries and approached Bakura. He knelt down as well, to be on the same level with Bakura, and Seto shouted that he shouldn't be so close. And Seto was right. The moment the pharaoh had gotten low enough Bakura's head snapped up, the angry look back on his tear-stained face. Those,at least, might have been real. With a yell, Bakura threw a handful of sand into the pharaoh's eyes and then lunged forward, tackling him.

Rei sighed and shook her head. She felt like she was putting up with children. Of corse she wasent going to bother to seporate them. Bakurahad every right to wanna hurt the pharoh. So she kept her eye on seto almost daring him to come closer.
Nanu squeeked in shock when bakura lunged at the pharoh.

Seto started to go to get the two away from each other and paused when he remembered the pharaoh's order of not to do anything unless he said so. Eying the two carefully, he saw that Bakura wasn't choking the pharaoh and paid no attention to them, looking rather dully off into space. The pharaoh and Bakura rolled around on the ground, both struggling to be on top. Bakura managed to wrap his legs around Atem's and pin his arms up over his head. They were both breathing heavily, and Atem smirked slightly. "So, is this where you've wanted me, Bakura?" He asked, shifting underneath Bakura slightly. "If you had asked before I might have let you--" He didn't finish that sentence for Bakura punched him across his face, hitting the pharaoh's cheekbone with as much force as he could. Then he leaned forward, for he had no blade of any kind, and bit sharply into the pharaoh's neck, right where his jugular vein was. The pharaoh let out a cry of pain, and Seto shifted slightly, but still didn't do anything.

Rei leaned on the hut watching bakura and the pharoh fight.She would only stop them if it got life threatining to bakura.
Nanu sudenly burst out "STOP IT!" she yelled taking a step foward. She was looking at bakura with her bright blue eyes "The Pharoh was trying to be nice to you! You shouldent hurt him!"

Bakura looked up at the girl, narrowing his eyes slightly, sitting up. "Nice? His thought of being nice is to make a public announcement that says I'll be 'free' until that damned priest of his makes me step out of line. You are a naive fool to believe anything they say." He hissed. He didn't notice that he had let go of the pharaoh's arms and that one hand had slowly lowered to the pharaoh's side as he grabbed a dagger he kept with him at all times.

Nanu shook her head "No!Your wrong!The pharoh told The priest to leave you alone! Nobodys going to go after you or make you do anything!" she told him.

Seto, noticing that the pharaoh was starting to lower his hand to grab his dagger, quickly darted forward. He ignored Bakura, Atem, and Nanu, and instead made a beeline over to Rei. Seizing both of her wrists, he pinned them together in one of his hands and used the other to lace his fingers in her hair and tug back violently on it. "Can't have you interfering, now can I?" Bakura hadn't quite noticed Seto's actions. His cold blue gaze was on Nanu. "Hmph. Who are you, anyway, to be speaking to me like that? You act as though I should be skipping around and shouting my thanks for what the pharaoh has done. But do you know what the pharaoh has really done?" His eyes narrowed, glinting coldly. "The pharaoh killed my entire village when I was but a child. So I had to learn to fend on my own; do you know how? By stealing, of course. And so I had to be punished for living the only way I was able. He and his priests have tried to kill me quite a few times, and then recently the pharaoh decided instead to keep my alive for one of my little 'visits' to the palace." He was beginning to shake. "You know why? Because he decided it would be a great load of fun to rape me."

Rei who had been payying attation to bakura hissed as her eyes quickly went to seto "Oh bad move" she said.She swong up and hit him in the balls.She then pulled her arms steping back and making him lean foward.Thats when she pulled him to the ground face first.
Nanu gasped hereyes wide.He hand covered her mouth as she looked to the pharoh.

The pharaoh had turned his gaze away, shame written all over his expression. Bakura followed Nanu's gaze and then grabbed the pharaoh's collar, looking rather hysterical. "Look at me!" He said loudly, then seized Atem's chin in his hand and forced the pharaoh to face him when the pharaoh hadn't moved. "I SAID LOOK AT ME, DAMMIT! IS THAT SO HARD TO ASK?" He suddenly let out a yell of pain and fell a little to the side, holding his head in his hands. Seto, though he was in pain and in an awkward position, had managed to reach his Millennium Rod and take control over Bakura. "Don't touch me or he dies." He hissed at Rei, trying to think of creative ways he could have Bakura kill himself.
