Kugutsu Mokujin Bunshin no jutsu examination
The students stand in front of Mokujin and successively create five clones (they can make them simultaneously if their chakra control us sufficient). They are closely inspected and rated on overall quality of the construct.

Smoke filled his vision for a brief second, both blinding himself and obscuring his person for a moment before clearing just as quickly as it had come. In the wake of the small cloud of smog there stood two Shins standing side by side with the same look of determination and anticipation on their faces. Then they looked at each other and relief replaced the apprehension as they discovered the jutsu was complete. But Shin number one did not take long to dwell on his success they were still four more bunshins to make.

Two clouds of smoke seemed to detonate almost simeltaneously, that was just how quickly one came after the other. And this time when the smoke cleared there stood not one or two or three Shins, but four of the fledgling swordsmen standing side by side. It seemed that Shin was very eager to get one with this test, to put it behind him that he was not playing around. Mokujin-sensei wanted five bunshins and he was sure to get them, just faster than he could count them.

Shin took a moment to look over the clones he had made so far, to judge how well he was doing. Seeing as none of them had disappeared yet he had to be doing ok, but something was off about the last two. They were still there but could sense something wrong about them. It wasn't as if he could sense chakra or evil or wrongness, just that when he looked at them things just didn't seem alrite. And as he made another... POOF!...he noticed just what was bothering him. Although his first copy was a near perfect replica of himself, the last two had a few details mixed up. Either his nose was a little too long or his forehead a little to wide or something of the sort. Nothing major, just things he noticed as someone who knew his body intimately.

He examined the last clone as he had the others and almost recoiled in surprise. Although the clone kept its existence and looked like him for the most part, it had several unique features he did not remember on himself. It was still small changes, like lips were fuller and his hair a bit thicker but there were enough small differences to throw him for a bit of loop. It seemed he was beginning to slack off with this exercise, probably something to do with how he was rushing the clones. He probably needed to slow down a little bit. So for the last bunshin, Shin decided to take his time. He took a long deep breath to clear his mind and clasped his hands together with precision instead of speed. He slowly molded his chakra and began to shape it into a likeness of himself and then he unleashed the jutsu with a... POOF!...and held his mental image of himself until the dust cleared. And thanks to all that hard work, what came from the dust looked so much like himself that Shin couldn't have even be able to distinguish the real one from the clone if he wasn't absolutely sure he was himself. He then let his sensei examine all of his clones and when the all-clear was given...they all threw themselves into a high five of epic proportions that ended with a big... POOF!...as all the clones dissolved into thick air. Shin would end the whole affair with one more high-five, this time for Mokujin-sensei.

Mokujin was very satisfied with his students so far, all had done very well and passed the bunshin segment with flying colors. However, the next parts of the jutsu exam wouldn't be so easy.
"All right, well done mes petits. Next up is de henge jutsu exam. I will need you to successively transform into a small object, a plant, a larger animal, a humanoid, and finally, try to impress me with a complex transformation of your choosing. You must pass at least tree of de five transformation to succeed in dis section. If you miss one transformation you may try it again, but, again, you only have five total tries for this exercise so focus on getting at least three correctly."

"Hi, Kugutsu-san," he greeted Mokujin stonily, looking at the candidates with an appraising eye. He'd arrived on time to see Shin's clones and damn if he didn't approve. Shin had been one of his first students, back when Mistress was still around. It was a damn good feeling to see your student ace an exam. (Too bad he hadn't been around to see Hiru) "Good luck, all of you," he nodded towards Hiru, Shin and Masanori, before turning to the new student.
"Akara, Shinzu?" Andou queried, simultaneously flipping to the front page of the student files he'd found earlier. He always carried his student files around with him, for some reason... "My name is Andou, and I'm one of the teachers of the academy along with Kugutsu-san," he gestured at the human puppet giving the exam. "I trust that in my absence he's given you a few things to do?"

Masanori quickly took the stage, wanting to get this overwith. His father were to clap him on his shoulder for good luck and support but due to his slow reaction time, his pat simply touched air and he slowly moved it back to his side as if tough nothing had happend.
Masanori stood infront of his teacher and made a quick bow before making the appropiate seals for the jutsu he were about to use. He looked around the room to find a suitable object to turn into. He found a rather small chair that would have to do. He simply channeld his chakra to surrond him, then to shrink him into the appropiate size while his limbs and head removed and replaced by the chair's apperance. All of this happend in an instance in a flash of smoke but once it had cleared, a tiny red stol appeared infront of the teacher and the students to then as fast as it appeared dissapered into a handsome Masanori.

His objective was a tiny animal, and since there wasn't alot of them to choose from inside the classroom. He turned his gaze towards the window to get a clear look of the animal kingdom that lived outside. "hrm.." luckily it didn't take him long before a flying squirrel, hovered across the window from frame to frame. He took his oppurtunity and quickly created the seals for the henge once again and turned into the squirrel. Even tough the speed of the squirrel disturbed his focus some, he nailed the transformation rather excellent. He changed back quickly enough, not wanting for his father to look down upon him more than he usually did..

Andou glanced at Shinzu. "You learned the hand seals?" he said carelessly and checked the schedule. Right on time then. "That's good. I'm going to give you the next exercise then. If you've paid attention you might have seen the students currently going under examination performing an advanced version of this. I'd like you to make the ram seal," Andou gave no demonstration at this; Shinzu had said that he knew the seals and this was a mini test of sorts from Andou, "and focus hard. The ram seal is for concentration and it's the best at this activity, chakra moulding," Andou finished.
"What you do is you focus hard, trying to reach out to the chakra in your chakra source, which is in the core of your stomach. You slowly pull it out... and from then on, it's like play-doh. I just want you to practise doing that for the next 15 to 20 minutes."

Shinzu listened and nodded as the teacher explained what he wanted him to do for the next 15-20 minutes. The only problem was that the Ram was one of the seals he had had trouble with but he knew he'd learned them all and could perform this one just fine if he focused. All he had to do was focus and he could do this easily.

He grinned because he knew he had it he just had to do it right four more times so he could get on to the real jutsu. He prepared himself to do it yet again though this time he'd be better prepared for the wierd feeling that came with pulling chakra out of you stomach.

It still felt wierd to pull chakra out of you at least that's what Shinzu thought it always sent a weird sickly feel up his spine but he was able to pull it off yet again though just barely. He got ready to attempt it again.

It worked a little better that time the Chakra was more stable when he go it out and it was easier for him to mess with once he got it out. He tossed this particular blob around in his hands a little before preparing to do it yet again.

Ok maybe that time he had gotten a little cocky after doing pretty well on the last few. This time the blob of chakra barely came out but come out it did and he was able to mess with it somewhat but it wasn't long before he had to do it again.

Since he succeded twice in a row. He had the selfasteam to try again without giving much effort to his focus. Leaned against the window, with his jutsu holding tora seal. Channeling his jutsu just to be ready when the time comes to transform. It took him a couple of moments before a lady walked by with a fullygrown dog. He took his oppurtunity and executed the seals. But the dog was too far away to get the details of his apperance right, so most of his fur consisted of a fur that didn't have much shading and his eyes lacked color. He barked in anxiety to then transform back.

That last time it was somewhat painful as he tried to get the chakra out and what little came out couldn't really even be held in his hands. On top of that he had an even worse sickly feeling then ever before this time it was bad enough he turned green and almost felt like he wanted to throw up but he had to try again so he could get on to the real jutsu.

His eyebrowns frowned, he had failed. And after this attempt he had one more. This could be trouble. But since he was such a strategist person, he thought that if he fails this time, he were to transform himself into a small animal. Being judge by what you did on your gennin exams isn't anything the judges of the Mizukage's would ponder about. It took some time before another dog appeared. He studied long and hard not to repeat his last misstakes. But even tough he took it into consideration, the details was still mismatched and unacceptable.

That time was slightly better than the time before it in that there was slightly more chakra to play but it still heart and there was still that sickly feeling. Despite that he prepared himself to do it again he only had to do one more time to know that he'd mastered it.
