He was actually a former ally of mine whom went by a different name. His soul survived but not his body.... so I gave him a new one. I understand his persona is..... questionable..... but his loyalties to me are necessary

*He grins a little and nods to her* I thank you for your understanding. *They were on about the 30th level by now* I will try to have him act more punctually around you at least, but perhaps the transfer from a living to a mostly mechanical body has affected him

*Nana looks over, to just infront of where Mastema was walking, then slips her arm around his back. Shortly after, Nana's head rest gently on the side of his shoulder. Nana's other arm is placed infront of her, and her hand is closed lightly over her heart*

*His hand rubs her shoulder lightly while walking past the next few levels* On a different subject, I spoke with Thanatos about his encounter with Gabriel. Indeed, it was brief. Thanatos merely saw a glimpse of him from what I understand, nothing more. Thanatos is all right..... Gabriel didn't come after him

*He shakes his head* I can't be sure. I was preoccupied with being sure Thanatos was all right...... I felt it unnecessary to ask him if he knew. Hmm..... perhaps it's better I ignore it. Thanatos is still here, in his quarters. You can ask him yourself if you wish
