This is a restricted area, Leave now o...rrrr.rrr... The body began to flinch and fell to the ground as a light smoke developed in the room.
"Agggggghhhhh..." Skotti broke through his Nanomachines hold and almost immediately skotti got to his knees and started to vomit blood.
By the time skotti was done, the color had returned to his skin and his eyes had turned back to normal.
Skotti tried to get back to his feet but fell back down, he coughed and looked up at Pen.
"Welcome back to us Darkness" Said a man, standing behind skotti.
Skotti spun to see The Shadow, the very member of his team that he had killed back at the mansion.

"....I noticed that many of my guards have been taken out. I already received reports of infiltrators running around freely, and an old ally of ours coming back to rescue his friends, only to end up turning against them. Care to see where everyone is?"
Sabe did not speak a word; He kept a hateful scowl on his face as Luke laughed and pressed a second button on his desk that brought up a GPS map of the base, along with the marked positions of the entire team. Sabe was even more speechless.
"The dots on the map are sources of unauthorized radio frequencies. I'm assuming your friends all brought radios and earpieces to communicate with? Our system can pick it up without a problem. You however, flew under the radar for quite a while because you chose not to take one along with you. You're a smart man."
The two both kept their same expressions up; Sabe was being in a rage, and Luke was savoring every bit of it.
"Also, may I ask why one of your friends decided to climb into the ventilation system? You DO realize that I could just shut off the system entirely, trap your ally inside, and set off one of our favorite defense systems, right? Chloroform vapors have never been a better solution to vent-crawling pests. Sadly, this particular pest managed to crawl into the vent way above a furnace- an extreme feat, and managed to be out of the effective range. The vent path that the pest is in is a very small one compared to the rest of them. We could kill it without even bothering with our defenses."
Sabe would've easily burst a vein if Luke did not stop with his smug long-winded speech. Meanwhile, Luke had reached into a drawer of his desk and pulled out a loaded pistol, and pointed it at Sabe.
Well, this seems to be the end of my fun. I have nothing else to badger you with, really. I'll give you ten seconds to leave before I shoot you, starting now."
Sabe stood there, frozen and surprised. Four seconds had gone by already.
"You don't have much time left, good sir." Luke said with a pompous grin.
Sabe absolutely couldn't take it anymore. He charged at Luke, full speed, and jump-kicked him square in the jaw, making Luke drop his gun. Sabe grabbed it and threw it at the GPS screen, breaking the plasma display, and began pummeling Luke.

Pen didn't see the man come in but had went to the boss's side after the first attempt of standing. "You okay boss," in a worried and slightly scared tone.
She looked up at the man behind Skotti and gave a threatening look. Is he the reason for this?
Pen studied the man in front of them and he seemed familiar. But she couldn't remember where she saw this man before. Regardless she kept a her guard up, stood up and took a protective stance besides Skotti.
"Who is he boss?" she whispered through her teeth keeping her stare at the man who was so menacing.

"The shadow... I killed him in the mansion but I guess that was not good enough" Said skotti, as he pulled out his gun and weakly held it at the shadow.
"I was simply returning a favor, Darkness. you see, you have been under HIS control just as I was."
"No, It can't be, I thought he did not have control of the machines anymore"
"Well, he did, and he chose me to kill you, little did he know that an EMG grenade would disable the machines and force them out of your body, I guess that you shooting my heart worked just as well as that. I bled all of the nanomachines out, and I guess someone dug me out of the rubble and took me to the hospital because I remember the shot and then I just remember waking up in the hospital bed."
"We probably have the Blackheart to thank for that I guess"
The shadow nodded "Either way, the general can't control our machines any longer"
"Heh, especially not after Waffle gets done with him"
The Shadow and Skotti laughed a bit and the shadow helped skotti up and gave him his rifle as a walking stick and embraced skotti.
"It's good to have you back, my stinking human brother"
"From another mother, you crazy smurf"
Skotti turned to the marine and walked up to him.
Skotti handed luciano's cousin a detonator, "I am trusting you to push this button once Luciano saves my team and Waffle finishes her business" he said.
Skotti turned to pen "As for you, we are going to the hospital, because with the amount of blood I lost, I am gonna pass out in no time" by the time skotti turned back around, the shadow had already gone and skotti laughed a bit.
(yeah, I am pulling out from the action so all of you can have some spotlight, it's all you now Waffle.)

(Take the stage Waffle its your time to shine. Just the limelight crazed Pen get out of your way! XD)
Pen was confused, but came to the conclusion that this Shadow wasn't the cause of the Boss's ailment. She also made a guess the Mortimer was behind this and just shook off her confusion.
As the man disappeared Pen walked beside the boss in case he would lose his balance. "Want me to carry you then boss?." she chuckled trying to lighten the mood. It would be a matter of time before he black out, and picking him up from the ground would be harder than just helping him walk for a bit.
She nodded towards the marine, "Lead us back the way we came and then find Luc. I can't handle guards like this but their shouldn't be many this time." She gave a tired smile, "well lets get going Boss." She took off Skotti's jacket tied around her waist and placed it on his shoulders as if it was a cape. Then took his free arm and placed it over her shoulders.
Following Luciano's older cousin they all left for the exit.

(Okay, cool...I guess o_o ...what the hell am I saying? I could be writing a whole book chapter at this rate! xd )
"I didn't quite expect this from someone with the appearance of a gentleman, wouldn't you agree?" Luke said as he pinned Sabe down and returned the beating.
"I would think that someone who had the power to kill someone in an instant would do so, wouldn't you?" Sabe retorted as he rolled over to where he was the one pinning the other down and beating him.
"Quite a hypocritical speaker, you are."
"Says so the same man who blew up an entire kingdom for his and another man's greed, you damn worm!"
Luke flipped Sabe over, smacking him against the edge of the desk.
"Oh come on now, no need fo-"
His words were cut off when Sabe took out a can of mace and spayed it in Luke's eyes, and then took a pocket knife out and stabbed at Luke's throat. In a new-found rage, Luke took out a knife of his own and stabbed Sabe in the chest, causing him to let up and stop.
They both stared at each other, seeing the damage they had done. Luke's expression was maniacal; Sabe's was more helpless. Sabe tried to get up, and staggered out of the office, and then fell. Seeing that it would only hurt him more to move about, he curled up into a ball. Luke was heading out of the room as well, and ended up the same way. Both were exhausted and were losing blood at a slow rate. Neither of the two had the energy to fight the other.
Dying is the last thing on my to-do list. Waffle, please kill the general and get this over with!
Eh...that man DOES have devotion, even if it's to some princess brat. I wonder if people consider me being devoted to the general...

Crucificcio nodded then lead them out. He was praying to the Gods that Luciano was alright.
"You stupid! stupid! stupid! stupid-!!"
"Ugh. Babe, I think he's dead now."
Luciano and Michelle were in Prison block J, where there was a long trail of possibly dead guards. Luciano sat on top of one of them, his hand almost swollen from punching him in the face so much. He finally let up on the man only to see that, judging from the looks, he was dead. He looked over at Michelle and he said softly, "Are you ok?" he gently turned her head, which revealed a small bruise on her cheek.
Michelle softly nodded, though she winced a bit when Luciano touched her cheek, "Is it bleeding?" she asked.
Luciano shook his head, "No, you're not. . God. He had no right to hit you like that." he kissed her gently on her cheek then motioned for her to take his hand. "Come on. We need to find Skotti's team- they should be held here somewhere."
Michelle took his hand and then they began to walk. "Let's keep searching the empty cells."

Waffle scurried down the vent path, and almost fell out of it again. This time, the vent happened to be in Mortimer's office, and the cover was supposed to be on the ceiling, the general had taken off the cover deliberately.
Mortimer got up from his desk and walked over to the vent, looking up to see Waffle backed up into the vent, unable to escape if she wanted to. However, escaping was the last thing on Waffle's mind. She dropped from the hole in the ceiling with her orb in hand, already charged and ready to zap with. Mortimer began to walk back to his desk and get a sub-machine gun that he had stowed on the underside of it, as well as a handgun for when the other was out of ammo.
As he retrieved the gun, Waffle shot several blast spells at him, most of them missing, but one hitting the desk and splitting it in half.
"So that's how you're going to play, eh? Dirty tactics? Two can play at that!" Mortimer said, firing his gun at Waffle. A bullet grazed the side of her arm, but nothing more.
Waffle jumped back and strafed to the left as Mortimer continued to shoot bullets. She managed to dodge a number of them, save for a few that barely hit her, and one that hit her shoulder. Mortimer started to reload when Waffle got back at him with a lightning-based spell, the same one she showed Pen and Luciano a long time before as part of a training session.
Now's NOT a training session. This is serious business.
Mortimer could feel his entire body shake from the electricity. He was honestly surprised that his pacemaker didn't throw a fit and kill him. Although...it was getting consistently harder to aim the gun at Waffle, let alone shoot it. It didn't quite feel like a direct result of Waffle's magic, but more like an outside interference that just favored her.
Waffle continued her barrage of blast and lightning spells, nearly knocking out the Gaian Army's power supply at the same time. The lights started to flicker in a strange manner.
Meanwhile, in a different dimension, several figures, strewn about a portal, watched the fight unfold.

Michelle help on tightly to Lucianos hand, A part of her felt that if she let go they would somehow lose themselves. She could feel the throbbing on her cheek but she ignored it and continued walking.
(sorry i haven't posted you guys. My computer was acting really funky the past two days, and took extremely long when i tried to get into the guild yesterday. emo )

Luciano caressed Michelle's hand while they walked down the hallway of the complex. They passed by numerous cell block doors; it was eerily quiet. "Too quiet. ."
Suddenly the whole place went dark for a moment and then red lights came on, the alarms were going off and there was an announcement that couldn't be understood- at least by Luciano's ears. "********!!!" he shouted, guards came around the corner firing their weapons at Luciano and Michelle. "********! ********! ********! FUUUUUUU-" he hid behind a door, pulled the assault rifle that he got off of a guard off of his back and began to fire it at the guards. He felt Michelle get beside him, in between shots Luciano would fire back. He shouted to her, "HERE!" he handed her another assault rifle, "FIRE!!!" he commanded as he fired his shots.

(its ok sorry i can't stay to read this as it happens but sleep is needed!)
They got out of the base and headed back to Luciano's car. When the alarms went off. Pen turned to Crucificcio with a serous look. "Give Luc some back up the boss and I can take it from here." She gave a small smile and put the boss in back seat to lay down. Then plopped herself in the driver's seat, "hold on sir."
Crucificcio nodded and left in the direction where Luciano had left with Michelle.

(Almost done with the fighting sequence here~ Also, g'night Pen!)
Mortimer quickly switched to the hand gun and started firing a few shots at Waffle. One managed to hit her jaw, two others grazed her left ear. Waffle had to stop firing magic, already becoming exhausted and losing blood. She contemplated casting Chromatia, but decided against it; She still vividly remembered what happened last time. Instead, she charged a different kind of spell, still while dodging handgun shots.
Her orb's bright glow quickly faded away, and slowly was replaced by a malevolent dark energy that took on a hue similar to a blacklight.
One of the people watching the fight from the portal held an open tome, and was reading off the printed rune glyphs on a particular page.
The orb Waffle had no longer shined with light, but instead darkened the entire room. In fact, everything around her started to darken disproportionately.
Is someone helping me?
She dismissed her thoughts, and instead, cast Void straight at the general.
Meanwhile, Sabe and Luke both felt the building shake, as if an earthquake was just happening. Sabe's face paled heavily, because he knew what the cause of it was. He saw the fluorescent light above him come off of its hinges, and rolled out of the way. The light came down and hit Luke instead, likely killing him if he wasn't already dead.
After a while, the building had stopped shaking. Poor Sabe was scared to his last end, but he was still awake and breathing, although his breathing became more and more laboured.
In Mortimer's office, when the dust had cleared, one could look all around the room and not find the general anywhere, no matter what. However, they could see that blood was just about everywhere. Void, like Chromatia, was very capable of obliteration, but it had a different method to it. Rather than destroying things with raw arcane energy, the spell in question destroyed things by particle manipulation. In the layman's terms, the general had imploded instead of being blasted to bits, which also explained why blood was all over the place yet there was not a speck of flesh or bone present.
Waffle looked around the room, grinning and exhilarated.
I won...I ******** WON!
She started to giggle, now that she didn't have much to worry about...until she headed out of the office to see Sabe curled up in a corner, a dismantled light next to him.
She ran right to him and checked to see if he was still alive.
Breathing...but just barely.
She flipped him over and gasped, seeing a knife stuck in his chest. She immediately got her orb and charged it with energy
"C'mon...c'mon. Hurry up..."
As soon as the orb charged just enough, she said an incantation as she cast a healing spell on Sabe. Personally, she didn't enjoy healing spells one bit, as she often times forgot the incantations that went along with it, but she really had no choice. As Sabe's wounds started to close on their own, she pulled the knife out and threw it to the side. Sabe started to become more and more aware of his surroundings as his blood started to regenerate. Waffle had already ran back into the office and out, coming back with gauze to wrap up his injury.
"...Aaand there. Not perfect, but good enough." Waffle said, finished with the bandaging job.
"Ow....what happened? I could have sworn the whole building shook, lights went out, and the place went completely dark for a second! Did you....?"
Waffle laughed nervously, then helped him stand up. He almost fell over the first few times, but eventually he was on his feet, still a bit unsteady.
"I'll explain that later. But first..."
Waffle switched her headset on and spoke into the radio, assuming that someone would at least listen.
"General Mortimer is down for the count. I still have one more thing to take care of here though. Hope I didn't scare anyone with the quaking and all."
