"Sounds like fun," said Ananda sarcastically, tucking her knees up to her chest and resting her folded arms on them. Then, more seriously, she added, "But I think that...what you just said...proves you're old to me more than anything else could. I dunno what it was like for you, but being young isn't all it's cracked up to be, for me at least. I mean, sure I have time ahead of me, but...well, nobody believes that I'm responsible enough to figure out what I want to do with the time I've got. And by the time they decide I am old enough, responsible enough, I'll be too old to do all the things I really want to do." She sighed. "I guess that saying about the grass being greener on the other side of the fence is true. You always want what you can't have." She frowned a little, and stared off towards the door.

Zasz nods at her lightly... "you are correct, the grass is greener on your side to me, as my eternal life is what you want, but we dont always get what we want, everything is given to us for a reason...and someday we will find out our purpose, i just have more time to do it..." he begins to squirm around, his eyes wincing in slight pain, as if his back hurts, his eyes change to red then back to green again...then to yellow and back to green...he calms down slowly, still wiggling slightly...he looks at her and smiles... "you know, this is the most i have spoke in years"

Ananda frowned at him, watching his eyes and remembering what he had said about the colors. She sat very still until he appeared to return to normal, then relaxed. "Guess you're right," she said finally, shruging. "Um...did I say something to cause," she waved her hand at his eyes, indicating the sudden changes in color, "that? I mean, after what you said earlier..." She trailed off for a moment, then continued "I'm not so worried about me, really, but if I'm making you...change...and since it looks like it hurts...maybe I should leave."

he laughs slightly... "No, not you, they are just cramped in there...i think i will let them out now.." he winks slightly at her and shakes his head...he leans forward as slight bulges appear in his back...the shirt begins to stretch out eventually tearing, then his skin breaks, blood pours down his back, he winces in pain as black feathered wings slowly slide from the center of his back, as they reach there full size of fourteen foot across he pushes them straight back, they shake violently, blood dripping from them....he pants heavily.... "there, much better...." he looks at her and smiles..."the benifits of being a half demon..."

Shiori walks into the Training Grounds, her katana hanging loosely by her side. She sees two people talking, but decides not to interfear. She again calls over the stool she had used a couple days befor, and takes out three fairly large apples. Already she could smell their flesh. Spinning around in a blink of an eye, then returning to her stance. The apples fall into neatly cut slices. Smiling she picks up a piece, and starts eating.

After eating a whole apple. She cuts the rest up a little more, and places them into small containers. She then places 3 more apples on the stool. And repeats her pervious attack. 4 seconds. Too slow. Her opponant could see it. Although she had shaved a second from her last training session, it was not enough. Hanging her head. She could smell blood. She would ignore it for the time being. But that ment she couldn't stay too long.

After trying for five more times. She takes out some peanut butter and starts eating the apples with it. Smiling, she cringes as the smell of the blood flowed into her nose. I have to leave. Befor I pass out, or something else happens. She thought as she packed up the rest of her stuff. She could sence that Natsu was getting lonely, and would prolly come looking for her if she didn't leave soon.

Ananda stared at him in amazement. "Wow!" She shivered a little, wiping away a splatter of blood that had fallen on her arm. "I can see how that might be a little uncomfortable, yeah." She looked at the wings from end to end, smiling a little. "I'm not sure that's what I'd call a benefit, though. I'd think it'd be a little...uh...awkward." She shrugged. "But, since I've never had wings myself, I guess I wouldn't really know." She looked him in the eye, still smiling, and asked, shyly, "Can you...actually fly with them?"

"they are not there for show...yes, i fly with them...its a very interesting expierence to fly up above the clouds, espessially at night time when you can go up and see the stars, the moon, feel the night air in your hair and on your face..." his eyes close and he smiles, almost imagining the flying, something he hasnt done in quite a white.... "apparently you have never flown before...never been in the sky...its a great expierence to look down and see all the people below you..."

"No," she said wistfully, "I haven't ever flown. The closest I've ever come is falling, and that's just not quite the same, no matter how far you fall from. But," she said with a shrug, "it's still exciting, at least until you hit the ground. That part I could do without, but I've never managed to fall and miss the ground," she laughed. She was remembering a time when she was little, and her oldest brother had convinced her if she jumped from high enough she could fly...and she had believed him.

Zasz lets out a vocal laugh and shakes his head... "well, with these, i can fall and miss the ground...its a great asset, but then again, its adds alot of pounds to me, they are a burden at times, when i am trudging around just walking they become heavy, when flying they grow cold and stiff, when wet they are heavy, in winter they freeze, so its give and take, but i wont give them up..." he pulls his right wing around and wraps it around him...he smiles and runs his fingers through the feathers....

"Well, nothing's perfect," Ananda sighed, shruging. Then, with a sigh, she stood up slowly. "I think I've been sitting here too long, I'm starting to get stiff, and I didn't stretch after my workout. I need to get up and move around." She smiled at him. "If you want to come with me, it's fine, but you don't have to." She began to walk towards the door, stopping a few feet away to strech her arms out, and turned around to look at him questioningly. I should probably go find Rille, she thought guiltily, if he decides not to come, but I think he'd scare her if I brought him with me.

Caprice had wandered her way down into the Training Hall, curiosity her main drive for being her. A minor drive was the fact that she hadn't trained in awhile and she needed to get a grip on some things. Looking at the doors she passed, she finally came upon a list of all the types of training rooms they had, two in specific popped out at her: No specialization and Weapons Training. She decided to take her better first and headed off to the Weapons Training room, grabbing a sword along the way. She walked into the North Wing for the public training rooms, just a warm-up for her really.

Once inside the room, she began practicing basic things like different ways to hold the sword and different stances she could do on own. Then she began working to place the sword in different one and two handed defense positions, moving around a little more as she did so. After about fifteen minutes she began doing thrust and piercing movements, then to slashing. Eventually she built up enough to combos, placing multiple moves together. Attacks, defenses, anything she could think of to put in without getting very flexible she put into her combinations.

She kept doing every single combination she could possibly remember plus others she made up by thinking of them. She was very quickly running out though, and she wasn't used to not having a sparring partner or a dummy or a moving target or something in the like. Even so, she wasn't going to skip out on the more crucial part of this exercise. She began adding flips, handsprings, twists, and many other things into her combination, working her evasivness, flexibility, and stamina.
