Lily raises her eyebrows a bit when Chana jumps, she hadn't realized how some people might take the question. Chana didn't look old enough to get offended or anything.
But college- that's an interesting topic! Of course, now she's going to have to be more careful.
"Oh?" She tries to keep going, "What did you study, if you don't mind my asking?"

"I originally wanted to major in advertising..." she admits, looking around. Ah-hah! A knife! Chana quickly grabbed it and stuffed it into a pocket.
"It's been nice meeting you Lily, hopefully I'll see you around again," she calls out, walking quickly for the door and her duplex. Bagel and cream cheese in the candlelight...nothing better in the world.

"Orig-" Lily stops mid-word, beside the counter Chana had found the knife, and watches as the woman decides it's time for her to leave. She waves and calls back, "It was nice to meet you Chana."
She just watches her leave, and looks down at the roll she'd picked up. That went better than she originally expected. Maybe she'd just met up with Chana at a bad time? She sighs and looks back to the doorway.
"This is enough," she says to herself, refering to the roll, and decides to head back to her own duplex for now.
End.

NEW RP
Ambrose had tucked the epee under his arm as he strode into a... almost releivingly empty cafeteria. Not that he didn't mind company in the least.... in fact he missed a lot of his friends he had seen about... but that every time he had been in a good mood the past few days something happened to rain all over it.
He set the sword at his usual table and went to pick up a tray, lading it with some tasty foods. He didn't have to eat and run today - the golf course was finished! He wondered what Joliette thought of it... and if anyone else had noticed it yet as he piled some thick slabs of ham and a turkey leg on the plate. Looked as if there was still plenty of the Christmas-themed foods leftover.
He even surreptiously took one of the small walls of the gingerbread house - it looked, at least, as if he wasn't the first one to take a piece of it, and returned to his claimed seat with a lick of his lips.

Hargun grabbed her new dishes and walked down to the cafeteria. If she got something she might as well use it. Use it once to let Moreau know she was 'thankful', then hide them away and never eat off em again. It was just the way she was taught to behave at such a time of year.
As soon as she reached the doorway she made her way straight for the lunch line to find the delicious looking foods glistening with the Christmas scenery. "Woah.." she said, then put a few things on her plate and moved down the line, eventually getting what she wanted.
It wasnt until she left the line to find a seat did she notice Ambrose. "Oh! Hey Ambrose!" she said rather cheerfully, and took her 'clay'ish plate full of stuff and took a seat across the table from him.

Ambrose looked up with a smile as he saw another friend today - it had been some time since he had seen Hargun, and he was glad to see her again.
He hurriedly finished the bite he was chewing and waved her closer. "Hargun! Good to see you! And Merry Christmas!" He gestured to the lunch line. "They've certainly gone all out on the food today - and no complaints on the taste!" He grinned, showing his teeth. His plate was probably already halfway eaten by her arrival.
"I just saw Amaya - she's doing well today as well! I got to show her a thing or two with the epee today!" He gestured to the sword by his side.
"But! I wanted to thank you! I got your gift! And you've got quite a knack with the clay! I'm so happy it looks like it's working out for you - just let me know and I can dig up some more for you." He beamed.
He glanced curiously at the bowls she carried over. "Make yourself some flatware as well?"

Hargun laughed and smiled cheerfully. It was good to be able to talk with a good friend.
"Yea. Sadly no gingerbug cookies or anything my bat senses really want. But still, they seemed to have spoiled us." she said and starting picking at her food. Tasting and trying everything- still hoping she liked normal food.
"Really? I havent seen her recently, but she made me THE most adorable little plush bat. I shouldve brought it. But glad you liked the little wolf pup." she said and took a big bite of some turkey she decided to stick on her plate. Something.. was a little odd with the food, but she couldnt quite put her finger on it.
"Hmm, no actually, Moreau.. I think.. got this for me. Along with this bat statue thing, but I had to hide that. I was worried it had like.. an extra camera or something in it." she said with a rather disgusted face.

He watcher her pick at the food. "At least my tastes seem fairly straightforward and easy to please." He gestured to the variety of meats on his plate, along with one of the gingerbread house walls.
"And yes! Amaya gave me a plushie as well! A little wolf one - it's really adorable." He smiled, thinking to it. "She really is thoughtful.
He pursued his lips at the mention of the bat statue. "Well, I wouldn't know.... I hadn't though about that to be honest - but he virtually littered my room with wolf statuettes - even gave me a wolf door knocker. Something tells me he's trying to not let us get away from our 'fates'." A tug at the corner of his mouth. "But at least they're really not that obnoxious. I just really don't know how to feel about them."
Ambrose cocked his head, though, and took a closer look at her plate. Some... strange smell had picked up when she had sat down. All at once he seemed to place it and he regretted his sensitive nose. He paled a bit and suddenly his food seemed that much less appetizing. "Uhm... Hargun... " His face showed more disgust than hers had moments before. "I don't think that's.... er.... clay."

Hargun nodded. Amaya really was such a sweet friend.
"Hes just a b*****d, but, I have to act thankful just.. because. Well, if you ever want, you could use them to throw at the wall and break or something." she shrugged. She outta do that with hers but.. if she didnt have more than one.
"Huh?" she said and stopped picking at her food and looked at the plate for a second. "What do you mean? Heck, I dont know if its clay.. its not dirt though, cause when I cleaned it in my sink nothing came off..." she said, staring at it now bewildered.

Ambrose's ears drooped as he listened to her talk, his eyes fixed on the flatware and the now definately distinctive signals that his nose was sending his brain. That was.... disgusting. How could Moreau do that knowing she was goign to be eating off of them!?
"Y... yeah, I could always use them for that if I get particularly irate.... but in the meantime... at least they are helping my room look less like a hotel. And I got new clothes finally, thank God." He gestured to his shirt.
He moved his food around on his plate with his fork. Miraculously his lupine hunger was diminished - even after the small morning workout with Amaya after the.... long "workout".... the previous night with Angelina.
"But... uhrm.... I don't know if you can smell it or not... you might be able to if you put it closer to your nose.... It's... uhrm.... not dirt... or clay..." He swallowed anxiously. "I think.... it's...." He tried to think of how to phrase it... "dried... excrement... of some sort."

Hargun's eyes widened a moment, and she looked down at the plate. "...ew." she said, then scooted back in her chair slowly away from the table.
"EWwwwww... EW!" she shrieked and spit all over the floor, trying to clean off her tounge with her thumb. "'Hat's o 'asty!" she said, her tounge still hanging out. She continued to try and clean it off then turned back to the plate. "I hould ave own ee would ave one omehing o eh!"
She then took a webbed hand, swiping the plate and utensils on the floor to chatter, some food spilling everywhere. Meanwhile, she seemed to have a very angry expression.

Ambrose watched, fully sympathizing with her reaction. "My god - I don't know how he could have done that... I mean.... a jab with the iguana boots to Amaya is bad.... but that?! That's just foul!"
He shuddered, his own tongue stuck out in the imagined distaste of the concept of eating off of plates made of .... that. "Do I even want to know where on earth he found that!? I mean, I don't exactly see him with his hands in ... it... shaping it!" He had to snort at the mental image, though. Moreau with elbow-length gloves with his hands in a big pile of manure.
Ambrose stood up and hurried back to the lunchline were he got a big glass of punch for Hargun, placing in her her hands. "There you go.... gargle with that." He winced again.

Stewart was feeling almost sick after his last encounter with another resident of the island. But he hadn't eaten since lunch and was starting to feel the effects of that. As he made his way into the cafeteria, he hardly noticed the others inside. Stewart was way to busy trying to figure out what he wanted. Finally settleing on a simple pork chop and a salad he sat down at the nearst empty table. But when he look at his meal again, the smell of the meat make him feel nauseous, what was happening to him?

Hargun gratfully took the drink and took a big swab of it, gargling and spitting on the floor- hopefully staff would end up having to clean up all this.
She couldnt help snorting through the second round. She could imagine Moreau doing it to, but she didnt picture with gloves. His face was rather disturbed. "UGH." she said after spitting the second time, and drank the last bit of punch to wash down the rest.
"THAT b*****d. I KNEW wed probably get it for making faces in the cameras.. but not THIS!" she ranted and whiped her lips with her arm. "Eurgh.. damnit. I bet that ******** statue is made of it too!" she said.

Ambrose couldn't help but laugh. "making faces at the cameras?" It had never occurred to him - they were being watched at all times anyway. But by the looks of the consequences maybe it wasn't worth it.
"Does the statue look like the same material? If so.... I bet it is." he made a face.
He took a seat again as he noticed the other figure walking into the room. His brows furrowed. He had seen the man only briefly - but the black outfit left no question. "Father...?" His voice cut off as he saw the horns. HIs eyes widened and a furry hand went to his mouth.
