Harry, Ron, and Hermione arrived in Hogsmead.
Harry pulled out his invisibitly cloak, and flung it over all three of them.
"Honestly Harry, don't you think people will see our feet by now?" Hermione asked, slightly exasperated.
"It's dark out." Harry replied, as he looked up at the school's sparkling windows. He knew some were beyond those walls, his two boys sat at the house tables enjoying a nice feast.
"This way." Harry said, taking off towards the forest, with Ron and Hermione trailing behind him.
((I lost track of what's going on, some one pleae send me a pm to help clarify, and yes, i did read the other posts, but i'm still confused))

Harry entered the forest cautiously. He remembered only about ninteen years ago, walking into this exact location to what he thought was the end of him.
"Lumus." Harry muttered, as he lit his wand, and began searching the ground as he rewalked the same path he had taken that night.

All of the Houses were waiting patiently for Headmistress McGonagall to bring out the sorting hat and to sort the first years in to their new houses

Professor McGonagall stalked into the Great Hall looking as if nothing was wrong with the first years looking all nervous and scared."When I call you name come up here and sit on the chair, then i will place the sorting hat on your head and he will decide your house"McGonagall's voice rang throughtout the room for everyone had gone quiet.

"Hmmmmm.........better go with Hufflepuff!"The sorting hat said loudly

Constance listened to the names being called and sighed, looking down at the table. She was getting rather anoyed.

"Albus Potter"McGonagall called out as Albus climbed up the steps and sat down. She put the sorting hat on his head
"Ahhhh...........Another Potter eh, better put him in the same House as the rest. Griffyndor!!!"he shouted out

Albus smiled broadly, and found James claping wildly for him. He took a seat next to him.
Harry stopped as his wand light slid across the Resorection Stone.
"Here it is." Harry said, as he bent down to pick it up. He turned it trice in his hand, and Dumbledore, his mom, dad, Sirius, and Lupin appeared before.
"Harry?" Asked Dumbledore wearily.
"Professor, mum, dad, Sirius, Lupin." Harry nodded to them each in turn.
"I thought you had decided to leave the Resorection Stone were it was."
"I did, but times have changed, Professor, he's back, he's. . ." But before he could finish his sentence, they all disappeared in a puff of smoke, and the smoke drew together, forming Lord Voldemort himself.
Harry gasped.
Voldemort leered at them.
"Dumbledore can't help you now Potter, you will die this time."
Hermione jumed from under the cloak, and she and Ron positioned themselves in front of Harry.
"He still has us to help." Hermione replied defiantly.

A soft laugh could be heard from somewhere behind Voldomort. No human was visable, but you could sence them and hear them.
Constance rolled her eyes. Why had she even bothered to hope? Of course he was going to Griffyndor. So where all the other Potters and Weaslys. There was no way any of them would end up in the same house as her, so she didn't even bother to hope. She knew that the Mallfoy kid was going to be in slytherin and if she couldn't make friends with him, she was certain she had no hope in the world.

Ron glanced sideways at Hermione, and he could see her brow was furrowed.
"What is it?" He asked her from the cornor of his mouth.
"Voldemort, that's not really him. I guess for a better term, he's an illusion." Hermione mumbled back.
She squared her shoulders, and looked Voldemort straight in the eye.
"You're not here." She said boldly, and walked straight through him, turning once she was behind him to smile at Harry and Ron.
Harry looked from Voldemort to Hermione, and smiled.
"Nice work Hermione." He flicked his wand, and the illusion of Voldemort disappeared.
"Now were did that laughter come from?" Ron asked, voicing what all of them had been thinking.
Albus looked across at Constance, he remembered complaining to his dad that he didn't want to be in slytherin, but he had never expected to become friends with a slytherin on the first evening of school. He kept staring at her, hoping to catch her eye.

Constance looked up and noticed Albus looking at her. She smiled encoragingly and gave a thumbs up. Might as well act happy, she thought.
The laugh sounded again. A tad bit louder this time. "One like I will be where no one knows, lurking in the shadows..." a voice whispered softly, mixing in with the wind. "A place where once a genius fell and the dark lord tried to claim what he could not take. Where am I...?" Another soft laugh and the voice disapeared.

Rose gave Constance a small wave and a smile as she stepped up to the stool and sat down while the sorting hat was placed on her head

Hermione answered at once.
"The Shrieking Shack!"
"Professor Snape?" Harry asked in as hoarse whisper.
Albus felt a wave of relief wash over him. He was worried Constance would be upset, but she seemed alright with it. He hoped he would still be able to see her.
"James?" Albus whispered.
"What?"
"Are we allowed to sit at other tables during meal times."
"Yeah, but no one ever does."
"Oh..." Albus looked down at his empty plate, wondering if he would be one of the first.

Constance looked down at her plate. She was wondering what James and Albus where talking about. James is proably telling him that I'm evil or something... she thought bitterly.
"Geniouses!" The voice giggled again. "Wanna come play...?"

"A Weasley? A smart one at that, you would do wonderous in Hufflepuff, even better in Ravenclaw but you have the heart of a true Griffyndor! Griffyndor!"the sorting hat shouted at last
With a huge smile Rose hopped off the stool and joined Albus, James, and Teddy at the table,"Hey Al? Do you wanna go sit with Constance with me?"Rose asked
