Katia let the whips wrap around each of her arms and grabbed them when they stopped wrapping. she pulled on them roughly.

i just go forward with the whips and let go when im halfway to Katia then fall down then disappear then reappear behind her and swing at her back with my scythe and sword

i then take my hand off my sword and swing a punch Katia with my ice guantlet

as the ice gauntlet hits Katia's arms it freezes up the cuts, "thanks," she said, flicking her wrist bringing her sword back to her.

Kaori turned to the arena and sighed to herself. Was she strong enough to even compete? She slouched over the bars and grabbed her head slightly. Memories were flooding back into her head as she thought about not being strong enough to help her family.

Irene looked sympathetic. "That's a bummer. I'm a contestant too, but I won't be fighting until next." Irene turned to the girl. "And what about you? I don't think I saw you fight before."

Kaori turned with a fake smile and shook her head,b[]No, I haven't fought yet. I didn't know if I should enter."
Kaori leaned back up and stood straight,"Do you think I should?"Kaori asked.

Irene shrugged. "I don't know. Are you a good fighter? Some people here aim to kill. Im personally here just for the thrill of fighting and becoming stronger. It's up to chance really. I would love to get the chance to fight you though."

]Kaori thought for a second and nodded,"Okay, sure I'll join the fight. I wouldn't mind a fight. "Kaori smiled brightly and leaned back over the bars. She then turned her head to Irene,"How do you fight Ms.Irene?"Kaori asked curious.

Irene looked over at Kaori. "Me, personally? Well, I have my moves. But my main goal is to make my opponent unable to fight by means of exaustion or unconciousness. A time or two I had to cause serious injury. But that barely ever happens. I haven't lost yet. With luck, I'll find a challenge today. I want to be the best fighter you see. And I think the best way to do that is to not only be strong, swift, and smart, but someone others can trust as well. Like a leader, you know? That's how I fight." She looked to Kaori. "What about you? How do you fight?"

Kaori smiled,"I like how you fight. Me? Hmm, well like you I have my moves, but I fight because I'm hoping for a challenge and well looking for something on my way. I've had my loses, but I never let that stop me." Kaori giggled and kept her memories crammed in the back of her head,'I fight for you too mother...father.' Kaori said to herself a smile still spread across her face.

Kaori took her hand and shook it,"Yep let the best person win." Kaori smiled brightly and friendly. Kaori looked toward Irene and felt kinda awkward for asking but decided too anyways,"Irene...do you mind if I call you a friend?"Kaori looked down slightly. She didn't let many people in, but she just felt as though maybe she should start.
