Keith turned to dread for a moment and then back to Lazerous, "I am now, there's nothing that says we can't fight togeather." He said griping his wepons.

((Some of us have honor, neowulf123. Attacking a sleeping enemy is not something we do.))

Lazarus nodded.
"Excellent, everything is going as I had planned. We shall join forces to destroy the humans and angels. You were wise to accept me as an ally."
He tapped the Hellstar Staff upon the ground a few times out of boredom.

Keith nodded as he turned to Dread and walked beside him, "what happend?" He asked abruptly.

Jade had come in to stand next to Kieth. She didn't like the look of Lazarus, but she knew by his words that he was indeed on their side. Her grip tightened on her staff. "From the way you speak, I imagine we were wise to accept your friendship," she said, a certain graveness in her voice and her expression stony. She looked quickly over at Kieth, then at Dread, and finally back at Lazarus again.

Raph woke up, the squirrel had never left the cave, as it was now scratching on Raph's nose. He couldn't throw it out, the barrier was up. Raph sat up, the squirrel jumped on his shoulder. It seemed to like him. Raph stood up and walked around the damp cave, his butt and back were soaked.
He walked back to a darker, previously unseen part of the cave. The orb of flame followed him, illuminating the area as he walked. It seemed to go on for a while, but he had time. The passage grew narrower and narrower until it the end, which opened up into a room bathed in a deep red light. Raph searched around the room, there were assorted weapons fasioned from obsidian as well as a slab of stone that smelled of death. Raph's eyes opened wide with realization, this was a sacrificial chamber!

His face turned pale as he examened the blood on the slab, it was dried, but it exuded a strange magic, it was angel blood! Raph picked up an obsidian blade, it would come in handy, but he dropped it, it burned his hand! It was evil, the room was evil! He ran out, the orb illuminating his way.
The squirrel had been nervous the entire time they were in that room, it just gave the feeling for them to leave. He sat back over at the entrance, his mind uneasy about his accomodations.

Lazarus nodded.
"Indeed, you were. Against a Seraphim, one could use a Necromancer that is over 80,000 years old."
He smirked, knowing he didn't look a day over 18. His smirk quickly became a slight frown.
"I know you already don't care for me, but let us not make this an issue, shall we?"

"I figured you were old, you smell ancient." Keith said turning to Lazerous. "Just what is a Seraphim anyways?" Keith said with curiosity in his voice.

"I'm sure I'll get over it," Jade said with a laugh. 80,000 huh? That's quite a bit older than I am. I imagine his experience will come in very handy. She studied the necromancer with a smirk on her face. Yes, she would be able to get over it...as soon as he proved his inevitable worth.

Keith said nothing his hand cupped behind his back.

Lazarus glared slightly at Keith.
"Watch it, boy."
He sighed and looked back up.
"A Seraphim is the highest rank of angel in the Celestial Order. They're supposed to be powerful, but the Hellstar Staff could sense that it was young... very young... only about one thousand years or so."

"I see, so we should take caution when walking about the city" he said his hands not moving as he raised an eyebrow.

Jade looked at Kieth for a moment, watching his hands behind his back. Then she quickly returned her gaze to Lazarus, not wanting to take her eyes off of him until he earned her trust. "Would a seraphim be so foolish as to wander around this city? Wouldn't he know that we are here? I mean, if you know where he is, he should know where we are, correct?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2007 6:48 pm

Lazarus nodded.
"I suppose you should when I am not present. You are all very young and I am not sure of the angel's capabilities... let alone your own capabilities."
He sat down in a nearby chair, resting the Hellstar Staff in his lap.
"To answer your question... he will not be able to find us. I have a spell that will shield us from his angelic sensing powers. However, we will certainly know where he is."

Jade was displeased by his comment about them all being very young. "Young? Just becase I'm not thousands of years old doesn't mean I'm young," she growled, narrowing her eyes. "We can certainly watch out for ourselves when we're walking around in the city, can't we, Kieth?" Contrary to what she wanted to project, Jade made herself look quite childish as she lashed back at Lazarus' comment. She knew very well that even for a Lycan she was very young and still quite inexperienced. Her jealousy of Lazarus' power and age came out strongly in her words.
