I came here because I want to learn more about socialism and communism and why they generally disagree with NS. (I have no problem with people who are communist or socialist.) I also have a few friends in here.

Name: Ian
Gender: Male
Type of Communist: Marxist/Leninist with strains of IWW brand Anarcho-Syndicalism.
Excess is a disease, or so I believe, which plagues the people of the world. Enjoyment, even a slight degree of hedonism can be a good thing when controlled. But for so few to enjoy so much at the expense of so many? I find that atrocious. We have the ability and the responsiblity to maximize our production so that all can have as much as we can provide. We have the responsiblity to take care of one another, and form stronger bonds with people from all nations.
I don't see this as a moral, or 'right' decision. I just see it as the natural next step we need to take to progress to something more. Those are just my thoughts, though... Besides that, I'm actually kind of boring. xD

I think that Mao had some of the really good stuff except the whole agriculture being key. That is just another industry type like manufacturing. EDIT Marxist/Leninist, sorry I just don't get into the whole ag thing. I like the industry and stuff.

Hullo everybody! Name: Kayo Nekomata Gender: female Type of Communist: well I'm Democratic Socialist. I decided to become a socialist after finding out more about politics in Debate Club and on my own personal research on the matter. We don't live in a free democracy, we live in a federal republic! We live in ~may i say it~ interesting and dangerous times. As an artist and actor, I especially feel the pressures of the conformists. I’d like to discuss, books (The Jungle), movements(The red scare), and even movies(Cradle will rock) about Communism. Now is not the time to just fight, it’s also the time to think.

Hello.
Everything goes without saying I'd saying. You just have to look at my name and profile to figure out everything.
Except my type of communist belief. Essentially it is very broad. I don't like to attribute my beliefs to any particular doctrine because I like to see what appears to work in each and what doesn't and then take the workable an use it. I suppose I'm a revisionist then, or some manner of... hybrid.
At any rate, let's work hard together and figure all of this out.

Wow, I forgot to fill this out. Name: Zack Ward Type: Socialist with disdain for Stalinism, Maoism, and Leninism
I disagree with Stalinism, Maoism and Leninism because I don't like the idea of having a small group control much. The people must make the majority of their own choices. Also, Stalinism and Maoism and Leninism as demonstators have no elections to speak of, and I strongly believe in democracy with Socialism. My theory is a very complex one, and I normally only tell it to one person at a time, so I won't put it here. I agree with a slow transition to a worker's state, and a slow weakening of capitalist power as well as boycott of companies that cause oppression abroad, and replacing them with government facilities.

First of all, thank you for accepting me into this guild 3nodding Name: (they call me) Reda Lee Gender: Female Type: Trotskyism (Social Democrat) I am inspired by Leon Trotsky, Black Panther Party, Che and W.E.B. DuBois. I'm learning more and more on communism/socialism, i declared that my personal politic view was this way a year ago. I believe this politic view can work but has been misunderstood for many years because of the communist leaders views had made their way as nationalism especially Mao. I believe it can work without all the forcefulness it has seen out to the world. well that's all i got for now. lol more about me in my profile xp thanks again
