Arya got to her feet gingerly, flexing her fingers again as she waited for her head to clear.

Arya made a small flicking motion, starting several small fires along the deck, not enough to reach the gunpowder in the hold and cause a serious explosion, but enough for a distraction and small-scale panic.

Arya grinned mischievously, trying to pull off an innocent expression.

Arya ducked swiftly as a cannonball went whistling over her head.

There was no need to answer him. The sudden blast of cannonfire made the situation obvious. The ship had very little chance between those two crews of professional killers. For the first time, Arya realised that there was a good chance that they might actually be able to sink the ship.

Arya peered over the side of the ship warily. She had no ambitions to get her head blown off. Her mini fires were still going strong, but the ships seemed to have no current intention of boarding them, seeming content merely to blow holes in the side until it either sank or they surrendered. She growled irritably. Time for some intervention. They needed the ships to collide if there was going to be any chance of a decent fight without being butchered in the crossfire.

It didn't take Arya long to cross ships. The angle of the turn brought them close and a simple jump from high enough as the ship rocked in the water would provide enough momentum. The crows nest was high enough. She leapt, curling her body up as she moved through the air to ensure she had least resistance and was more likely to make the gap, then flattened out rapidly, using natural balance to take most of the impact off the fall. Even so, her hands stung and her joints cracked loudly when she landed. She was going to ache when this was over.

Arya straightened up quickly - her arrival had not gone unnoticed - and the fight started almost before she did. The first shot missed her by an inch as she drew her weapon, then she was temporarily shielded as a sailor rushed her.
