For the next few minutes, the dug and the N-3PX discussed. Each remark came back with a harsher tone than the less from the mammal, and the droid seemed to always respond more apologetic than the last.

"According to sluggo, most of these are stock models. All are equipped from the factory with two manipulator arms, an electric arc welder, circular saw, computer scomp link arm, holographic recorder/projector unit, internal cargo compartment, and a general-use fire extinguisher. With sensor package and fully extending video sensors, the four to the right are all fully modifiable, and even customizable gender programming, although its unlikely to matter much as they only speak in binary."

"What about the Other two? Anything wrong with them?" She asked, starting to grow annoyed with the Dug's attitude.

Diana once again had a higher view of the room, including the usual motion of being thrusted back and forth. It was very rare that a single day went by that she wasn't used for these things at least once, if not more. Either her beauty and seductive 'aura' got to Bolba that much, or the Hutt was just that much of a pervert. Either way, Diana couldn't wait until Bolba would wear himself out. She started to wonder what kind of Hell the Twi'lek was going through with all those thugs at that time.

In the secret room of the one cantina back in town, the thug that was working handed over a pass to the other, having completed it. " One Imperial pass, just don't let them know where you got it. Hahaha. " The thug nodded, taking the pass. Finishing one last round of Pazaak with Duke, he gave a nod to him then left, to go about town doing whatever orders dictated. Duke and the forger were now alone, and the thug was already starting on Duke's pass. " Better get comfortable. This'll take a while. " he said.

It was there. He could see it in the distance. Not as tall, and much more lengthy and natural than a city building. It was odd against the plain and blan surroundings of the savannah and he was actually cautious as to its purpose. It was probably just a vacation house for some rich human, but better safe than sorry. He kept a hand ready for his blaster and began to sneak up on the house, something not at all easy to do for a Wookiee in a savannah.

The spaceport was closed that day, closed to everyone without explicit clearance by the navy security force, and they weren't clearing anybody for entrance.

The low rumble of a repulsorlift echoed throughout the city as a single Lambda-class Shuttle descended escorted in by an honor guard of four ARC-170s. It came to a hover and slowly descended to the ground, it's wings retracting and landing gear extending.

As the ramp came down puffs of steam from the ion drives being purged hissed down, framing the taunt figure of a middle aged man, Governor Kol Sirus. His wrinkled face and receeding hairline gave him a distint and distinguished appearance, but his eyes seemed to twinkle with malice. Behind him a pair of women appeared clad in skin-tight red jumpsuits their hair unnaturally darkened by dye. Each carried a blaster pistol at their hips and a pair of knives glinting off their boots.

Something within Colonel Akaga recoiled at the sight, he chose his entrance to be similar to that fo the emperor himself on his tours and inspections. Red body guards, the hissing of steam as he stepped down the ramp. It seemed to the colonel to be the height of hubris to copy the emperor like that.

Beside the ramp the two CompForce guards smartly saluted their new commander, and Captain Adelvulf, currently leader of the CompForce office of Seya-Qu saluted as well, the nervousness he'd shown earlier gone.

The Colonel saluted his new political master on the planet, "Governor."

"Colonel, I want an update on your hunt for this Nbarr fellow. Karyn and Jula here would like to show him what it means to assasinate an officer of the emperor."

Colonel Akaga glanced at the four cold and lifeless blue eyes of the women and felt a chill, "The situation is the same as it was yesterday, if he's skipped town it'll be damn near impossible to find him. The planet has too many places to hide."

"You'll find him Colonel, or I'll find you a new post." Governor Sirus replied coldly, "Captain Adelvulf, if you'd accompany me, I'd like to discuss the next phase of the imperialization of this hunk of rock."

Before the Spacer got too far, there came a tug at his jacket.
Behind him stood the old clonetrooper, Ceet.
"If you're huntin' fer greenies, I'd check the savanna to the south. Heard the hills are crawlin' with 'em. If you don't want to die from one though, I suggest you wear this when you get out on the plains."
He pressed a Polished GAR medal: a brass heart with a red ribbon, into the man's hand. The Old Clone proceeded to hobble back into the bar, paused, then turned to lok at them for a moment.
"By the way, might want to keep yer head down."

"They are what are considered 'used' droids, as they have both had previous owners. Through various means they have accumulated in our shop. Nothing defective, although a bit more customized. One happens to have, and pardon my mistaking this, a cooling unit you organics call a refridgerator in it, for storing what sluggo believes is human organs, but is most likely alcoholic beverages. The red unit has been inspected, and despite the rather large amount of unusual music he calls 'disco' stored in his memory, we haven't noticed anything strange, although it seems his previous owners attempted to install jump jets, but have not yet hooked them up," 3PX described.

Upon hearing the choices, Kara nodded and pointed.
"How much for that Refridgerator one?"

"1100 credits, according to Sluggo," 3PX quickly replied. The dug crossed his legs, confident in his pricing.

Kenet was on duty in the Port again, maintaining his post at the command center. There was still no traffic there today, but according to the latest Imperial feedbacks, he could open it back up for 'commercial purposes only' in the next few days.

His job and become considerably easier since the PDF attack. Their reinforcements had arrived, and assumed defense and command of the city proper, giving the Recon full jurisdiction of the port itself, while they prepared to relocate for field duty.

Scanning boredly threw old transmissions, Ford stobbed on one. It was obviously encrypted, covered in random numbers and symbols, many overlapping. Nothing was distinquishable, yet the only clue was that the file was included with others labeled 'supplies'.

Picking up his comm unit, he called Hildegard. "Got us a suspicious transmission. Do we have any translators?"

"Protocol or astromech?"

"Astro. I've got some slicer code that should be a restricted access file."

"Then send it to HQ. Have the Colonel's teams decipher it."

Ford nodded, switching off his link, as he isolated, and forwarded the file to Colonel Agaka's command team. "Found an encryption my boys can't handle. See what you guys can make of it."

After that, he went back to his scanning, trying to get his mind off the encrypted transmission of Bolba the Hutt's latest spice shipment.

Kara visibly winced.
The money she looted from the dead PDF didnt cover that price tag.
She could have traded power cells or salvaged guns for it, that she was certain. Command, however, would not aprove of arming the locals, and she had nothing of real value worth bartering with the surly dug.
"Well how about that red one?" she asked. "Whats his price?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 8:55 am

"From what I heard, 700 credits. Primarily because the greasebucket used an electric current on Sluggo's backside when he first got whapped. But then again, he's a recent arrival. I haven't interacted with him much," 3PX sighed.

That was probably the most reasonable price she was going to get.
Used ones always cost lest than new models.
Besides, the unit wouldnt act up near as much with a restraining bolt slapped on it.
"I'll take the red one." She said, shelling out 700 credits in hard currency. "I'll make sure it'll think twice about zapping people."

Rate looked down at the man, he was darkly tanned and was probably once very strong, but now he was just some coot. Looking down to the medal in his hand then up to the old clone as he hobbled back to the club, nodding to his last warning."Thanks, I'll be sure to buy you a few rounds when I get back." Rate gave a devilish grin and looked down to the boy."Know where we can get a ride?" He asked while slipping the medal safety into a belt pouch.

Lenler stopped to think for a moment, face screwed up with concentration. After a moment of thought, he said "We can borrow my mom's car... Cmon?" He set off, walking quickly, towards his own house, gesturing towards Rate for him to follow.
