Falcor nodded, "How soon do you expect the fighters to be here? We can hold them for a while, yes, but not that long." Falcor looked out the window and played with the weather a bit, making it sunnier or darker by a couple shades.

Shaydra stared at the hawk, now out the window. "I can do something similar, though with my pencil." Then she shook her head. "I am sure Shaklaan, the black dragon I was talking to, will do something to help us soon. Oh, and I told him about you two and your gold and white colors," she added sheepishly. "But I am sure, from three years with him, that he will not tell anybody but his closest allies."
Then she looked at Tyros with some surprise. "Nice human form," she said. "The only way I recognized you is by scent. As for fighting," Shaydra muttered, "I am afraid I will not fight too much. I am tired of being hurt and seeing others hurt."

Sigilos turned a neat shade of red when he looked at Shaydra. He had forgotten in all the commotion how pretty she was. He felt the blood rise to his face just thinking that.
*Umm, uhh, what was I saying?*
He looked confused for a moment, then shook his head.
*Oh, that's right, well, I don't know about others, but if we don't fight, alot of people will be hurt. Besides, if I can get enough energy for a good spell, I think I could stop the other group from even getting close to the town.*
He turned a deeper shade of red.
*And if you need anything Milady, I am sure I can help.*
In his head all he could do was berate himself.

((I don't think AlmightyDragonWarrior is posting anymore. I'm in two other guilds with him and he doesn't post in those either. sad Don't forget, we're all in human form. ))
Shaydra watched Sigilos turn first pink, then red, then brick red. She fought the urge to giggle, and for a few seconds her face was quite red, too, from the strain of keeping her laugh in.
Finally she took some deep, calming breaths, and said, "You are very strong, sir Gold, if you are able to keep off an entire army." She almost bowed, inclining her head slightly. "But an army will be needed, for I am sure you cannot be in multiple places at once. Shagon's black grip must be throttling the country."
