Natasha scowled angrily, her voice changing suddenly from playful to that of cold-hearted anger.
"And what are said spirits doing on this ship? To my knowledge this ship passed to my hands upon the death of Leonardo Black so kindly remove them....unless you want to die a horrible, slow, painful death."
The 'claws' on her left hand seemed to glint in the sunlight.

Kibo: Right after I remove all the salt from the ocean, love. Spirits float around everywhere, whether you see them or not. There are many more dead people floating around this world than living ones. I just have the ability to see and hear them. I caught onto your presence by hearing a husband and wife chattering away as they floated by. The ones you see are only spirits physically manifested by yours truly, or another Necromancer. The same goes for those nifty little emotions that we can see that you can't.

Maida stuck her tongue out at Zia. To which, her best friend promtly grabbed between forefinger and thumb.
