((I'm the only one without an object that aides them... hmm...))

Soul kept a nice pace for the rest - letting them get used to their shortened appendages and less weight(Hopefully). As he ran, he heard thunder in the distance. He loved storms, but something about Stephenie seemed to protest storms. He kept in ind to ask her later, as he noticed the streets were much less populated by people and much more with cars - No one wanted to be caught in the rain, it seemed, even if it cost them forty dollars in cash.

Margy was stilly squealing at the tops of her lungs as she ran after Soul and Stephanie. Flailing her arms about more, she began to giggle and laugh as she felt the rain land on her head.
"Rain!Yay!Rain!!" she squealed out, once again squish all of the words int one sentence. "Hooray!!Rainsdropsarefallingonmyhead!!"
The hyperactive hampster laughed, before taking off after Stephanie and Soul--not really wishing to be left behind.
"Heyheyhey!!WaitforMargy!!" she called out loudly, quickly catching up with the other two.

((Why don'tcha find yourself a weapon? Like the banhammer! blaugh ))

"C'mon, c'mon!" Stephanie shouted, turning towards Margy. As she watched the little hamster rappidly start to gain up speed, she seemed to forget the fact that she was running with her head the other direction. By the time it had occured to her, a grey blur rushed forward.
KA-GONG! Fwump!
Stephanie's held her head tightly, trying to keep the world from spinning as she sat on the pavment. With a quick shake, she looked up at her attacker: a metal lightpost. Embaraced, sore, and feeling like a complete idiot, she stared up at the shining metal pole. "Well this is ironic..." Stephanie muttered, thinking of the instance in P.E. where she had done the same stupid act of running with her face turned. Only then it was a basketball hoop.
After giving a long sigh, she plopped her hands on her knees (both of which where abnormaly sore) and began to lift herself. "Well.....gotta get-" Suddenly, a thirsty clap echoed through the air. And with it, came an almost immediate downpour of rain.
With a gapping jaw and a look of pure frustration, she let her feet give way, and hit the ground once again with a belated splash. "Rrrrrgh...." Stephanie growled, when a soft glow started coming from her necklace. "Oh yeah, NOW you decide to make me feel better!?" She shouted at her key as she held it. With a quick, 'Hmph!' she let go of the golden trinket and picked herself up, brushing herself off despite the fact it was pouring. "Alright, which way?" She shouted slightly over the sound of the pouring rain.

Soul was standing under an awning, completely dry, watching the specticle. When Margy had run by, he grabbed part of her shirt so she wouldn't go off by herself, and was about to help Stephenie up, before she fell back over again. Soul had jumped back to avoid getting splashed. By now, he had a silly grin on his face, and taking off his vest to cover himself from the rain by holding it over his head, walked out and assisted Stephenie up, leading her to the awning. "You almost made it, too." He muttered, and pointed to some steps leading downwards into his apartment.

"Yeah, well almost and.....all are two different things." She said with sarcastic tone in her voice, giving a slight pause in her sentence because she had to gather her thoughts. "Thanks." Stephanie said, reffering to Soul's earlier attempt to help her out.
Once they got to the awning, Stephanie took a deep breath in, and then let it out. She scratched her soaked head, only to hear a damp Squish! It was, or at least it had been, her little eared beanie. It, with everything else on her person, was soaking wet. And now that she had the joy of fur, not only did she have a slight odor, she felt about twenty pounds heavier because of all the water it had soaked in. "Well this is just FUN..." Stephanie muttered, lifting her arms to see small streams of water go down to the floor.
"Um.....ok, in respect to your house and...ick....you're nose I think I'll just kinda...sit out here for a while...dry off a bit ya know...? So I don't get...ah...water and crap everywhere...." The more Stephanie said, the more it was probably evident that she didn't want to be outside by herself. But she was definatly not willing to get water and filth alll over her friend's house....
She gave a sigh as her contrasting emotions wore her out. She merley scratched her head slightly, and gave a slight "Mm...yeah...." And then sat down next to the appartment door, embracing her legs and looking towards the street.

Soul looked down at her, quasi-surprised. But considering she was new to the whole animal thing, he decided to help her out. "Your a dog." He said. He didn't tell her exactly what to do, but when she looked at him questionably, he shook his head violently, hoping she'd get the picture. His hand shot out to keep Margy from running out into the rain by blocker her path to the downpour. ((Sorry, had to take over you for a moment. =P Comedic purposes only.))

((No worries. ^^ I'm sorry I kinda take hold of the RPs alot though...you're the captain.... ))
"You're a dog." Stephanie heard Soul say, almost in jest.
"Yeaaaaaaah.....?" Stephanie said in confusion. She was about to ask what that was supposed to mean when she saw Soul shake his head rapidly, water flying off is fur. Her ears perked up a bit, as she looked back at the street with a soft smile. "I guess I forgot for a second......"
With a small grunt she picked herself up, and looked down at her hands. She looked up and down from them for a second, as if wondering what to do, or rather if she was going to risk herself looking foolish... But after smacking into a lightpole, she didn't really have any lower to go. "Well.....here goes...."
With a hesitant smile, she got onto her fours, bent her back up slightly, squeezed her eyes shut and shook herself violently. Surprizingly her movements weren't clumsy and lumbering, but were more or less brisk and intentional. Not to mention affective.
Once she was finished she stood up, more or less with an radiculous smile on her face. "Ahhhh.....much better..." She gave herself a quick scratch on the ear, finding out that now her fur was all poofy and fluffed out.
With a slight jump, she patted her hair down slightly to try and smooth it out. Afterwards she gave a nervous chuckle, and reached for something to say. "S-So...uh...th-this is your house huh? Or should I say apartment."

"Apartment. I live at the bottom - It's the cheap-as-free." He said. beckoning them to follow, he headed inside, taking the stairs down. He turned and smiled. "When I said bottom... I meant bottom. Heh." He was slightly embarrassed that he didn't have anything better to offer. Pulling out his key, he unlocked his door and headed in. Immediately, he saw the pizza rolls he dropped on the floor this morning. There was insects all over it. "Ew.... Whoops. Forgot to clean up. Didn't think I'd have company... ever."

"Sweet." Stephanie said politley, folding her hands behind her back. As they started heading down the stairs, Stephanie looked around at the walls and surroundings they passed by. "That probably makes it alot cooler in the summer if you're below groundlevel." She said, trying to make some idle chitchat.
Once they got inside, everyone seemed to look straight down at the old pizza-bagles that were covered in flies. "Wow, that looks ripe." Stephanie said; her nose picked up alot of new and EXTREMLEY strong smells now, so it wasn't too pleasent. Her ears shot up whens he realized how that sounded, "S-Sorry." She stuttered. "Th-That wasn't saying you don't keep a good house or anything....I just....ah......L-Lemme help with that." Shuffling towards the old food stuffs, Stephanie shooed(sp?) away the flies, and picked up the refuse. "Uh....wh-where's the trashcan...?" She said with a still embaraced look on her face.

Tons of words where flying out of Margy's mouth with every passing second. The words were flying out so fast that no one couyld understand them. The only words that could be even slightly distinguised were, 'I, play and rain'.
Flailing her arms about she tried to find a way to get past Soul in order to get into the rain...only to get directed by the sound of Soul opening the door to his apartment-along with the mess inside.
"PILESOFJUNK!!!WHOOOO!!!" Margy squealed out at the top of her lungs and instantly dived into it, before beginning to tunnel around. The sudden desire to tunnel seem to be automatic and most likely a response to a hamster's natural instinct and habit of burrowing tunnels in the ground and bedding. The sound of scurrying could be heard as Margy moved around in the junk--before popping up randomly and giggling.
"WEEE!FUN!!JOINMARGY!YESYES!" she squealed out, seeming twice as hyper as she was a few minutes ago.

Soul blinked a moment, before choosing wisely to ignore her for a moment and point to the trash can. She was trying to burrow all over his couch where two bags of potato chips and a fork were, but he wasn't happy at her exclamation of piles of junk. "I keep a rather clean home, I just dropped those earlier and forgoet to pick them up - something caught my interest." He explained to Stephenie as he dropped the contents of the leftover food away. After she threw away what she had, he took a seat on a barstool nearby - Something he found at a garage sale for ten bucks for four.

"Heh, gotcha." Stephanie said, going to the kitchen sink and washing her hands. Fortunatly the scent of soap made it so that she didn't have that 'wet doggy' smell once again. After Soul had taken his seat on the barstool, Stephanie followed and sat on the ground next to the couch. Margy was 'occupying it' sort of, or at least for random lapses of time, and she didn't the hammy to plow into her while she was taking her seat.
Being prone to giving her attention to whatever was the loudest or most interesting thing in the room, she found herself watching Margy bounce and burrow around the many items in the living room. "Ah....so...." Stephanie said, turning her head back towards Soul. "Um....Ok I can't really remember what we were coming here to talk about..." She confessed. "You said that there was something that was better discussed here than at McDonalds....? What was it again?" She leaned forward a bit, rotating her wrist slightly as if it were the wheels of their converstion, trying to pick up speed again.

"Chaos Emeralds. that was the reason we came here, to the 'base of operations'." He said, mocking himself a bit. Heading to the Minifridge, he opened it up and brought out three cans of Dr. Pepper, only to put one back in - Margy had had enough caffine. "Here." he said, lobbing the can over to Stephenie. He also pulled out a frozen Pizza for later. He always found it smart to thaw the Pizza before putting it in the oven, so it should be another hour or two before he might throw it in. Regardless, he threw it in the microwave, so it was out of the way. "But I can't seem to recall what we're talking about at Mickey Dee's. Strange." In truth, he knew why - he was scatterbrained. Maybe with all the caffine in Margy's system, her brain could belt out the answer any moment now.

As if she had been asked a question, Margy popped up from behind the couch. Making it seem like she had appeared from seemingly nowhere.
"Nothing really important." Margy said, for one not sounding like a immature child. "Soul was talking about the restuarant and the world, and that there wasn't a burger king in this world most likely because it was merged and became the McDonalds we went to--and then we went off tracke when I burped."
Margy looked at Soul with a grin. She had basically just summerized the whole conversation they had at McDonalds within several minutes. Grabbing onto the side of the couch, she leapt over it and landed on the couch beside Stephanie.
"And you don't need to worry about giving me Dr. Pepper--Margy no like it."
As suddenly as she began to talk like a normal person, she switched back to her third person. Margy was definately a strange one.
