Kyra blinked. The dance-off had passed so quickly. Golden-colored kunai were everywhere as was blood. She was surprised that no one else had gotten hurt in the massacre ritual.

Sakura, after flipping through a couple of pages of the Jashin Bible, notices that she had missed something.
Sakura: Oh, my mistake. We have one more ritual left to complete.
She paused when moans came from the maids of honor. Even Sasuke, who was at her side, grunted.
Fuming, she poked him in the ribs.
Sakura: WE CAN EITHER DROP THIS OR WE CAN FINISH THIS WEDDING BY COMPLETING ALL THE JASHIN RITUALS. GOT THAT? SHANNARRRRO. scream
She seemed satisfied when her exclamation was met back with silent approval.
Sakura: All right then. The last ritual...
And here she pauses. Carefully she looks at Sasuke and before he can say anything, hooks an arm around one of his.
Sakura: This last ritual has to do with immortality. By the wishes of Jashin, the couple will be granted immortality so that their love becomes a testament of eternity.
Sasuke: ...Wh-
Sakura: BUT since the Uke-bride is already immortal, this will apply only to the seme-wife. Kairi/Itachi, you will become immortal.
Sasuke: WHAT.

Kairi stared at Sakura in disbelief. Immortal? .. WERE THEY INSANE?! What if she didn't WANT to become immortal?!
She slowly stood up, and then quickly made a move to turn and run out of the church.
Of course the fact that she was still handcuffed to Iia slipped her mind, and she was pulled back, falling to the floor as a result.

Iia WAS focused on the angry Sasuke. So what?! Her wife would be immortal with her whether he liked it or not!
Her body suddenly jerked foreward, and she blinked as she watched Kairi get yanked back and fall to the floor.
With a sigh, she stood up, pulled Kairi to her feet, and dragged her back to the alter.
It's was part of the religion, and whether the UCHIHAS liked it or not, Kairi would become immortal.
And they'd spend forever together.
