Sylve turned to him, brushing the hair out of his eyes as she looked at him. "It's not your fault." She laid her head down on his shoulder, enjoying the warmth of his body next to hers. "Mall and I are just stubborn. We both love you so much. And I'm used to getting what I want. And I want to be with you." She smiled up at him.

Slowly his eyes slipped open as the female spoke, gently wrapping his arm around her shoulders to pull her closer. The lightest blush touched his face at the last sentence, his tail wrapping around her. "It is my fault...I'm sorry about her...she is sweet...really...just hard to find it. I'm sorry about not being able to stop all of this..." The male looked down at the ghost, his grip around her shoulders tightening breifly. "And I'm sorry about being selfish in this." Yuki leaned down to gently nuzzle sylve before softly kissing her lips. Sylve said that she was ice cold...but she could still make him warm inside.

A smile crossed Sylve's face as she felt his lips pressed against her. Somehow he could always make her smile, make her heart melt. She sighed happily, throwing her arms around his neck and leaning into him, shyly kissing him back. She didn't care about anything else as long as she could be with him.

One arm around her shoulders, the other coming around for his hand to light on the small of her back, he couldn't repress the faintest purr. It rumbled in the bottom of his throat, pure and warm as he at last broke their kiss. Yuki's emerald eyes opened to look shyly into sylves, still holding onto her. "I just really...love you."

"I love you too Yuki" she responded softly, her heart bursting. Her eyes started to water with tears of joy. This is just how she had always imagined their confession of love, in each other arms in front of a roaring fire. It was cliche-ish she knew, but she was too happy to care. She didn't think she'd even felt this happy before. Tightening her hold around him, she pulled herself closer, her chest pressing up against his. She loved that he was the perfect height for her just to rest her head on his shoulders. She loved how his purr echoed through his skin down into her chest, a wonderful calming feeling accompanying it. She loved everything about him, even the strange bad luck that seemed to occur whenever he concentrated on something, even his annoyingly overprotective sister (well, as much as one could love an overprotective sister with a mean aggressive streak), down to his cute shy blush and his soft voice. They all made him who he was. As she held him, she knew she never wanted to let him go. crying crying

Well, they had confessed earlier, but his was sort of shouted and sylves a bit whispered...not to mention incoherantly fast. But he couldn't ask for anything more, even standing in the rain in the middle of a huge arguement with his sister. Then again, he never dared to think she felt the same way, thusly never daydreamed about it, and held no expectations. The males arms tightened around her as she pushed closer, face gently burying itself into her soft glowing hair. He loved her determination...how she kept going without breaking down. Oh sure, Sylve had plenty of flaws to her. A ghost, headstrong, rash... "Thats all that matters." Yuki gently nuzzled her again, his soft purr helplessly continuing. "Still want to go to bed?" The feline sweetly smiled. But she didn't have to be perfect...she was perfect for him.

Bed? The ghost girl blinked, and unbidden an image rose into her mind that made her blush furiously - the two of them snuggling and falling asleep in each others arms. How perfect that would be - she'd love to spend an eternity in his arms. She'd suddenly become a romantic it seemed. Her daydream was burst though, when the image of Malloren barged into Yuki's room in the morning to find her there and all hell breaking loose. Despite everything, she had to smile and mentally chuckle. At least things would always be interesting.
Sylve stifled a yawn threatening to erupt. "No, not really. I'd rather spend time with you instead. And I'm still a bit wet." A shiver ran up her spine as a trickle of water from her hair traced its way down her back. Murmuring quietly to herself, she thought "I wonder if Sally would mind me moving into HQ'ers?"

A warm blush spread over his cheeks, hugging the ghost closer to him. The feline and the spirit...what a couple. "How about I go get some dry towels then? I think the three of us washed the floors enough with our runoff." He smiled slightly as he pulled his head away to look at her, emerald eyes dancing in the firelight. "I'll stay up with you until you want to go to sleep. Promise." Such a shame he missed that last bit.

She laughed lightly. They had indeed made quite a mess with their treks into and out of the rain. It was still falling, heavily it seemed, she could hear the drops against the windows. It sounded peaceful but she was glad she was inside, warm by the fireplace with Yuki. Sylve looked back into his eyes, the light of the fire making them twinkle as it was reflected off the glassy orb. How in the world had she ever gotten so lucky to have him in her life? She nodded. "Ok...do you need help with the towels?" She started to rise. "Maybe I should start to learn my way around here."

He was sure to scramble up first with a light blush to help her to her feet as well, tail flicking. "I don't need it...but...I'd like the company." In the end...Yuki really was just like a cat. A bit skiddish at first...but loving to be loved. It was a wonder no one coaxed him to their lap and petted him already. "And tomorrow I can show you around...if you want me to of course."

Sylve blushed as she allowed him to help her up. Such a perfect gentleman! She really hit the jackpot. "Oh yes that would be lovely! And you're the only tour guide I'd want for the job. " She smiled at him, before reaching to take his hands in hers. She was finally allowed to be affectionate with him and she wasn't going to miss the opportunity.
She glanced back at the windows and almost as an after thought added, "I really hope it stops raining soon. I should probably go visit the pumpkin - I haven't been home in awhile....and well, I really need to talk to Aunt Sally about something important." Color rose deeper into her cheeks as she thought of what she needed to ask her aunt - around Yuki, her blush seemed to be a permanent feature, especially with her pale skin being so revealing.

He blushed himself as he delicately held her hands, tail swishing. It soon fell still. Go home? Didn't she say she was going to spend the night here? Yuki's eyes flicked to the windows. He didn't much like the thought of her alone outside so late at night, with the ground slippery from the rain. "It shouldn't be too much longer..." As if to prove him wrong, a sudden clash of thunder rolled with a flare of light, bringing a wince. "...Or we can take an umbrella." He would at the very least, walk her back.

Sylve noticed the change in his demeanor - why did he suddenly seem less than happy? Belatedly, she realized she hadn't been very clear about what she had meant. A bit flustered she quickly tried to remedy the situation. "Oh no I meant in the morning. After breakfast. Maybe I could cook for you this time, I know how to make scrambled eggs! " Her mind stumbled over itself - wait he had said "we could take an umbrella." Did that mean he wanted to go with her back to the pumpkin too?
"And yeah...an umbrella would work if it hasn't stopped raining in the morning." From the look of the clouds outside, she didn't think it would. "I think you'd like to see the pumpkin....and I just want to let Sally know I'm ok and well ask her...well if she would mind very much me moving into HQ. Because I mean I'd like to be able to spend more time with you, you know? Of course, I mean if you don't want me to be around so much, then that's cool too " she stammered out. She cast her eyes about the room, not able to look him in the eye, still insecure in his feelings for her.

He winced slightly, emerald eyes moving to sylve he sighed softly, relieved. "The morning sounds...good. I've never seen a pumpkin before." Understatement of the year. He wasn't even sure what a pumpkin looked like except a vauge notion of orange-all thoughts froze as a deeper blush spread on his face. Did...did she...Yuki look at the ground, his voice as soft as ever. "I'd...I'd like that...very much." His blush increased even further. Would that be sort of like, moving in with him?

"Really?!?" She glanced up at him eagerly, her sparkling eyes betraying her extreme happiness at discovering he wanted to be around her more too. Well, she assumed he did, since he didn't have a problem with her moving in. Sylve beamed and squeezed his hand, before stretching up on the tips of her toes to give him a quick kiss on the closest cheek. "Thank you Yuki. I'm so glad. I just hope people don't mind me moving in. I mean if they have an extra room to spare for me to spend the night, they surely wouldn't mind me moving into it, right? Mall's not gonna be very happy though." She stopped her rambling thoughts and started to giggle. "You know Mall reminds me very much of how I would expect an overprotective father to act towards his daughter. " She attempted to hide her giggles behind her free hand. {{ Thank you, thank you. *bows* XD }}
