She gently grasped his free hand, shaking it uncertainly. "Celtic! That is so interesting," she continued, her eyes slightly wide as she spoke. "I have never met someone of Celtic descent. I am from Russia, actually," she spoke, easing into the conversation more.

"Neat.." He said with a smile "I've never met anyone Russian..." he laughed a little. "So, how'd you end up here...?" he continued, setting his boots down in the sand and rolling up his pant legs a little before moving closer to the water.

"I do hope that everything is alright now..." He said, noticing the sad look on her face "The Underground is a very nice place, lots of interesting people from all over... people with wings, magical powers, all sorts of things. It's rather strange at first though...."

[[Not that Katia's a really funny name, but it's pronounce like "cawchya". :3 Since a few of my characters do have silly looking names, I wonder if a pronunciation guide is needed. XD]]
She turned her gaze to him, smiling in surprise to his words. "Magical powers? That sounds so enchanting," she spoke, rather purring as she neared him. "And you, Daire, do you have any of these quirks?"

((It might be a good idea, I've only got a couple with strange names; Daire, and Maja [which is pronounced just like Maya] but I was thinking of adding pronunciations to their profiles just for convenience))

Katia stared, her cheeks flushing deeply with a blush as she laughed, waving her hands dismissively. "Oh, thank you, but you do not need to return the compliment. It is free, given to you," she spoke, unsure of whether or not he understood. She gave him a smile, nonetheless, her hands slipping back to her sides. "This place, are there many fun things to do?"

"I like to come here..." He said, wriggling his toes in the sand "And I like to read a lot... there's a very large library here in The Underground... it's pretty great." he nodded as he spoke "There are also places like the arcade, and mall that are fun to hang out at"
