Reevis appeared inside the temple, surrounded by the creatures he had warned Ziven about. He was kneeling on the ground with his fists pushing against the ground. How could he have been so stupid? It didn't matter to him what might have transpired between Fox and Ziven after what he saw, that was all he needed. His smiled widened as tears gently rolled from his face and onto the floor. The formless creatures began to crowed around him; but the reason could not be determined. The small cat hid under Reevis, trying to keep away from the strange creatures.

Soon the tears stopped as the smile grew, anger boiling in his mind and heart. "Why does this affect me so much? I have seen my own family being killed and did not cry. I have endured horrible torture and not cried! Why do I cry over a woman!" He began to punch the ground, just hard enough to get frustration out. This place was sacred to him and his people, so he would not destroy it if it was not necessary. "Mother... I want answers... please come to me. I am so lost..." Tears began to fall again as he asked for his mother, his smile almost disappearing completely. She was the one person he would not be able to fool through false smiles.
As soon as he called for his mother a figure appeared over him, glowing blue other than white. Soon she began to gain detail as Reevis remembered what she looked like. "You cry because you love her. Is it not obvious?"

"I hate it!" Reevis yelled as he clenched his hands together so hard that he pierced his own skin with his fingernails. "Vice always told me that love was a weakness, and now I see why! I was willing the throw away everything for her. You, my people, my outside family... everything! I even stopped searching for the power I wasted my life to get!" One of his arms gave out as the tears continued to move down his face and onto the ground. Under him the cat mewed again. "What do I do mother? I am afraid and confused. She said she loved me, but how can you love two people? I don't... understand."
The woman knelt down and wrapped her arms around the man. To most, this would send a great chill up and down a person; but to Reevis it was greatly welcomed. "What would you like me to say? That love conquers all? That she will love you always?" A look of concern showed upon her face for a moment. "In all of my years, I have loved no one but my guardian; your father. In all truth, I do not know how one can love two like I love my father. Perhaps... if we were away for a long time love between us would drift, but that would take so long."

Reevis whimpered slightly, gently holding the small cat as he curled into a ball. He felt so weak now... so frail. Even with his mother comforting him he wanted nothing more than simply fade away. "I wish to die mother... I have been dealt a killing stroke and do not wish to recover from it." The tears had stopped as he closed his eyes, already thinking about the world once he was no longer in it... seeing nothing but the happiness of others. It both warmed and sickened him at the same time.
"No!" The woman, shaking her son a bit. "If you wish to live without this pain, I will make it so! My magiks are more than enough to seal such pains away. You will e able t live without sadness or anger! To only love when your heart and mind deem it fit! Please, my son, do not die! I do not want you to come here!"

Reevis opened his eyes slightly and looked at the small cat for guidance. For a moment nothing happened, but with a sad mew the cat nodded. "Do it..." He said squeezing the cat just slightly as he closed his eyes once again. Thoughts of Ziven flooded his mind, and with them came feelings of both love and anger.
With a sad smile the woman put her hand unto Reevis' head and began to sing a very sad song in an ancient language. Soon every creature was also singing the sad and strange tune. As the song moved on the creatures began to move around Reevis again, all gently touching his body. As they did the cat disappeared.

Through the song, all of the memories he had with Ziven began to flash into his mind. Seeing all the happiness he had once felt now filled him with even more anger. He felt like he was about to explode from all the rage that built into him. Soon he reached the last time he saw her, which was with Fox. Then, suddenly, it was gone; along with the anger it had come with. Then the next memory he had with her, when he had loved her so much, simply disappeared. Places in his memories where she should have been she were suddenly replaced without her. It confused him, but as he went he began to feel calm once again.
The woman began to cry ever so slightly as she sang, though the tears faded away as the left her face. It was so sad, what she was doing... but he wanted it to be done.

Soon all of his memories no longer contained Ziven. They lacked any emotions as well, and this sent a strange warmth through his body. The process did not end there though. Again he began to see Ziven, but this time he felt nothing. Some of the memories were returning to him, but none of the emotions. This allowed him to feel indifferent and confused, but anger did not come to him. Some memories of them together will still taken from him, out of fear that it may bring back the feelings... some of his memories were simply that strong. It would be over soon.

As soon as the emotionless memories returned, the ghostly hand of his mother forced itself into Reevis' mind. The pain was horrible, but soon disappeared. He opened his dark blue eyes and looked around, the creatures no longer singing. As he looked upon them, he felt nothing. No comfort, no anger, no fear, no longing... nothing. Even as he looked at his mother did he feel nothing. "Thank you..." He said simply as he stood. His smile returned to him and his eyes showed nothing to the rest of the world.

Looking up, he sighed slightly. "I will leave you now; sorry to have disturbed you." He said with a smile and a nod to the creatures around him. While his back was turned his mother touched him gently on his back and forced something inside of him. He did not feel it for some reason, and soon disappeared.

Once again Reevis returned to the temple, but this time it was for different reasons. Lately there had been tremors under the temple and though the upper levels were completely safe, the lower levels were not so lucky. Such tremors could destroy many of the items in the basement... including the treasures he had kept down there. Since Vice had gone on a journey there was no longer anyone too keep the temple safe and, even though he hated the place, it was as close to a home as Reevis had ever gotten. Besides that, the treasures down below were priceless to him.
Reaching the far wall on the first level, Reevis reached his hand out and gently touched a strange marking. Almost instantly more markings appeared and the wall shifted, revealing a passageway. As soon as the door opened dirt and dust flew at him. "It was worse than I thought..." He said to himself as he began to desend a staircase, climbing over things when need be.

By the time he had reached the bottom of the stairs, he realized that there was almost no hope for his treasure. Just to get to this room he had to destroy many large boulders that were on the stairs and it was actually worse in the room itself. He sighed as he looked arounf, seeing that which he had hopped he wouled not. Walking over to the other side of the room he gazed emotionless at the remains of a large table, one that was crushed under the weight of a rock. As he looked at the table he began to see small peices of shiny eggs, along with the small bones of those who lived inside of them. The Dragon eggs he had been hiding had been destroyed, a fact which made his core shine dully for just a moment before it went dim once again.

Sitting down upon the floor he sighed once again and looked around the room. Artifacts from his people, ancient writings on the floor and walls, sculptures, weapons, paintings... all gone. But those did not matter to him. The destruction of the eggs bothered him the most, simply for the reason that he had promised himself no harm would come to them. If he still had emotions he might have even been sad, but for the moment he simply felt a little bit off. "I suppose that everything dies eventually... It is just a shame when a creature dies before it has had a chance to live." As he scaned the room a second time something caught his eye. In the corner, barely visible there was a small glimmer. Curious, Reevis stood and walked over to it, pushing away anything that stood in his path.
Soon he reached what he had seen; a shiney part of another dragon egg. This one was silver and he could not remember where he had seen it before. His core shined a light blue as he tried to remeber, reacting to how he was supposed to feel. Feeling that the creature in the egg should be with its brothers and sisters, he gently bent down to pick up the large fragment. With a bit of a tug he pulled up on the sides of the fragment... only to find that it had simply been burried by soft sand. Before his brain had time to properly register what had happened he was already holding the egg in his hands; his core still shining.

As he looked at the egg he began to wonder what might happen. He simply watched it for several moments, his eyes emotionless still. After a couple of minutes he sighed, smiled, and went back to the remains of the other eggs. Carefully he set the whole egg by its brothers and sisters, then snapped his fingers as a dome-like encasement made of nothing but energy covered the egg; that would keep the egg safe. Slowly Reevis turned and began to walk to the stairs... only reaching the first before he heard a loud cracking sound.

Turning around quickly, he saw parts of the egg begin to crack. Though many might have considered such a thing to be a blessing, Reevis never wanted something that this to happen. Why had he touched the egg with his bare hands? The dome around the egg lowered as small limbs bbegan to force their way from the egg. Something pulled Reevis closer to it, his core shining more brightly than it ever had. He watched as the small creature struggled to break away from the egg. For some reason the dragon looked smaller and more fragile than he thought it would; and he was right. By the time the small dragon had broken free it was exhausted, falling onto it's side and barely breathing. Reevis reached out to help it with his hand, but a burning sensation suddenly erupted on his hand. There was glow coming from his hand, which shined almost as bright as his core, and then there was a strange tugging at his mind. Something wanted it. Out of reflex Reevis sent a large amount of telekinetic energy at the source as the light faded. As soon as he could see properly he gazed down at the small creature; it was no longer breathing.

As he looked at the small, lifeless dragon his core began to shine even more brightly. The spell that sealed his emotions began to break, forcing chaos in his mind. Soon the emotions won and destroyed the seal, but his mind shattered as well... no matter. Carefully Reevis picked up the lifeless creature with one hand as he went into his pocket with the other. After a moment he withdrew the necklace which once belonged to Ziven. It glowed dimly as a reaction to Reevis' core, but that ment only good things. Holding the gem up to the dragon's underbelly Reevis spoke one word; then watched the gem float effortlessly into the creature. Almost instantly the dragon began to breath again, still increadably weak. A small nudging pressed against Reevis' mind, so he let it enter just enough to comfort the creature. "It shall be alright..." He said quietly as he smiled, the core in his chest dimming once again.
