Miyu fidgeted at that comment, because she understood and yet she did not have the words, or rather just not use them. She nodded at Serenity's words so fast it looked like her little head might come off. The sound of Skye's voice made her stop. She looked over the hand edge to see Skye there.
She looked back at Serenity and then back at Skye, this wasn't auntie... was it? Miyu got down on her knees and skittered as close as she could to Serenity's face. Auntie? No.....

Serenity blinked. Another one? But they were so different ... and this one didn't seem to be shy at all. She reached down and scooped up the second angel, setting her on her free knee.
"And who might you be?" she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity but still quiet. She smiled bemusedly. Apparently Ulani and Ulrich had quite a few visitors ...

Skye stared up at the woman thoughtfully. She poked her chin, then turned her head a bit, then stood up to look into the woman's eyes. Finally, she sat down again and looked at Miyu, then announced, "Not Mommy."
Then she did her introductions custom. She put her hand on her head and smiled and said, "Skye!" Then she put her hand on Miyu's head and said, "Miyu!"
Then she pointed up at the woman, her large blue eyes sparkling with curiosity. "You?"

Donovan blinked warily as he woked up, taking a while to remind himself that he wasn't at home, and in fact he was somewhere else completely. He reached out to pull Kara closer only to realize that the person he should be careful not to squish was missing. He glared at the empy space like it was its fault before sliding out of bed. Putting on pants and throwing on a shirt buttoning it up half way as he walked out the door to find the little eeping girl. He ran his hand through his hair taking strides down the hallway towards the living room, keeping an eye out for any Seconds.
Miyu looked up at Serenity curious as well, at least Skye could speech, which was a funy thing if one thought about it.

Serenity smiled widely and repeated the child's words. "Skye," she said, tapping the blond one on the head; then she gently tapped the end of the silver-haired one's nose. "Miyu," she smiled. Then she pointed at herself. "Serenity," she introduced herself.
She tried another question, since Skye seemed eager enough to chat. "Who did you come with?" she asked with a smile. "How did you get here?"

Skye's eyes widened as she watched the woman's lips.
"S'enity?" she asked, completely confused. Had her sister grown so much in just one night? Ah well.
She turned around and pointed at her back. "Owie wing," she complained, pointing at the ruffled and bent feathers.

Miyu looked over to where Skye was saying owie, tiling her head for a moment, she understood that problem. Though it seemed to her that Skye was more prone to it. She reached over and patted the feathers down, since no one had done wing grooming the night before.

He could hear voices, Donovan mused, and sure enough when he entered the living room, he saw Serenity, with not one, but two of the Seconds. He sighed on the inside, he didn't think they woke up that early.
"I see you found the two of them," Donovan finally spoke up.

Skye closed her eyes blissfully, hoping that once her feathers were fixed that Miyu wouldn't stop.
Petting her wings and stroking her face ... made her go into "blissful mode".
Her wings started fluttering slowly, her "purring".

Serenity jumped a bit at the man's voice, but when she looked up and saw who it was, her face split in a wide smile.
"Donovan!" she exclaimed, though softly. "It's good to see you again! It's been so long! How's Elnara? And whose are these?"
She smiled widely and nodded at the two tiny angels in her lap.

"Hmm... well...." Donovan replied slowly, "If to answer our first question, I'll answer your second first... the quiet one is Kara's granddaughter, the talkitive one is your granddaughter."
He stated with a smirk as he took a seat watching the two girls interact.
"Elnara is fine... well not with her family, but since Ruel and Daeron are here I'm sure you know that. Daeron nearly talks as much as Celebor does, but," he looked at her and motioned at Skye, "She adopted... three times actually, Skye is the second or third child."
It was hard to tell since the two were adopted nearly at the same tme more or less.

Miyu watched as she finlished setting all the feathers back, it was a curious habit that Skye did. She wondered if it had to do with the fact that someone else touched her wings. She wondered if she did the same thing to her brother woud his wings fluttered like that.

Serenity blinked. "Wait wait stop ... back up a bit," she spluttered, her face an expression of sheer amazement. "Elnara adopted three children ... and Skye is one of them?"
She looked down at the angel with a new appreciation, but before she did anything else, she wanted to know ...
"The other two, what are their names? Are they angels too? And who's this Celebor you mentioned?"
Then she picked up Skye and hugged her closely. Her eyes were growing misty, and she closed them to keep the tears in. But for the first time in years ... these were tears of joy.

Skye squawked a bit at the unexpected hug, but once she realized what was happening, she didn't mind. She loved hugs!
She squirmed around so that she could hug Serenity back. Her sister had grown so big and funny! She wrapped her arms around Serenity's neck and giggled, her wings fluttering excitedly, her "purr" gone.

"Celebor is her eldest," Donovan explained watching Serenity's expression, "As for her other one... well... her name is also Serenity, it was Elnara's idea."
It was a good thing they took this trip, Donovan noted that Serenity looked older now, which was a bit dishearting. Then again staying out here with sons that disliked you border along hate, while you're out in the wildressness for their sake would add any amount of years to anyone.
