Tochi felt that it was more than that, but decided not to press the issue. She would open up when she felt like it. He simply shrugged and kissed the top of her head.

As Takara stared off into the distance, she felt a familiar tug at her soul.
What? Already? It seems like just a short while ago. I guess I had lost track of time....
"Tachi, I must leave again, soon. Each year I visit my parents' graves in a special location. That's also where I meditate for a day, using the aura of the area to strengthen the wall between my darker self and my soul. I'll leave tomorrow morning to get there in time for the new moon."

Takara gratefully smiled and peacefully fell asleep, her head on Tochi's shoulder, hoping she would be fully recovered by tomorrow.

Tochi looked out on the lake while Takara slept. He was leaving again. He realised just how much of a wanderer he really was.

The next morning, Takara woke feeling refreshed. She smiled as the sun's early rays warmed her skin and she breathed in the fresh air. She got up and before she teleported to her room, softly spoke to Tochi.
"I'm going to get ready and pack some things for the trip. I'll meet you at the gate in half an hour."

Walking towards the sound of water, Talon came across the Pagoda's lake. It was rather large and looked very beautiful. The calm water gave Talon a sense of tranquility as he gazed out over the sparkling blanket that was the lake. Talon saw that a tree was near the lake and walked over to it and sat in the shade gazing out over the water, thinking to himself, This place... this enchanted domain holds such a peace as I have never seen before. No where upon this world did I think a place like this could exist. I am very fortunate to stumble up it.

Aideki walked out of the Pagoda and made her way over to the lake. The water was placid as usual, with cherry blossoms floating atop the water like tiny little boats out on a journey. They reminded Aideki of her own ship, out on the vast ocean...traveling to some unknown locale.
She noticed a few others around the lake, one of which was a boy she had never seen before. He must be knew... She walked up to the shore, bending down and scooping up a hand full of small rocks. One by one, she flung them out across the lake. Some of the flat ones she grasped between her forefinger and thumb, and, with a sudden flick of the rest, sent the stone skipping across the placid water.

When the water began to ripple, Talon looked around the lake to see what had caused it. His eyes fell upon a woman at one end of the lake tossing rocks she had in her hand. Talon waved to her but continued to sit underneath the tree.

Aideki's handful of small rocks soon ran out and she found herself gazing out over the placid lake, hands now jammed deep into the pockets of her short fitted brown leather jacket. She continued to stand there for a little while, not thinking about anything in particular, as a wind brushed the tops of the trees and fell down over the lake.
There wasn't much to be heard except the occasional lapping of the water against the shore, the calling of a bird, or the rustling of leaves in the wind. Silence... Aideki never liked silence so much.
"Why have you been so quiet, Jhet?..." Aideki asked in a whisper to herself.
You're going to leave... I don't want to stop you... his voice responded in its usually hissy tone within her mind.
A slight grin came to her lips and her crimson eyes closed, "You're terrible, Jhet...."

Talon got to his feet and left the shade of the tree, making his way towards the massive structure that rested in the middle of the large grounds. If the interior of that building was as remotely as beautiful as the outside grounds, then Talon would certainly not feel he made errored in staying here.

Aideki watched the man leave from the corner of her eye. She bent down and scooped up another handful of rocks.
"Maybe I should get back to my work..." she thought to herself, playing with the rocks in her hand for a little bit, eventually taking out one and flinging it across the lake, "There's no reason for me to stay here so long... I suppose... I suppose..."
Aideki's fist grew tight suddenly around the handful of rocks in her grasp and they could be heard grinding together. There was a hint of disappointing agitation in her countenance...like some one hoping for something they couldn't possibly have had hope in. She felt stupid...
"Damnit..." She whispered and flung all the rocks out into the lake at once. They splattered about, starting a little army of ripples to run along until they met the shore.
I told you not to return... You sholud have listened..., whispered the spirit within her, and she slouched....commanding him to silence.
