really cool! just as i expected it!

Diana was just standing there in shock as she tried to speak to her friend. She witnessed her actions, betraying her promise not to fight unless necessary in battle. But of course, it wont be betraying once her opponent finally reveals her secret. but then her attack on her was abit too great, even if she was the one who caused it. then she collapse, letting darkness cloud her vision.

--------------------

Miki cried out "Diana! hang in there" but when she got there she felt relief as she was only sleeping soundly, tired from the attack. but remember the situation, she quickly went to Kei, who was trying to recover from Diana's attack. Taking off her right glove and placing it on the girl's back, she started to emitt a soft blue glow and a soothing, warm blue energy started to surround both girls. Both unknown to Miki, her brother was there already, witnessing the scene.

Maria watched surprised seeing the bright light.
'What could her other abilities be?'

***************************************************************
' I knew so. There more to her than this.' Hiro thought.

"Might try to battle her and get to know her more as a team mate."Hiro suggested to Takao.

Miki continued her process, giving more of the same blue energy to the girl. Her cries were pityful, she didnt want Diana to actually kill her but she had to blame herself too, for almost being responsible for making her experience so much pain. Her eyes softly opened, trying to make the pain lessen. She knew her brother was probably there, watching in amazement. She sighed softly, knowing her brother will bombard her with angry and worried questions.

As she watched her mind desperately searched for actions to do. She wasn't sure what she was doing or if Miki was endangering herself. She didn't look if Kai was there. She wasn't sure if she could protect Miki from Kai.

((OOC:// Effing-! Gaia didn't put up my post, the one where Kei passed out! Dammit... *fumes*))

Kai barely noticed one of the three girls running past him, muttering something about finding a payphone. He himself had started down the stairs, hurrying for who-knew-what reason.

The scene he had witnessed - was witnessing was different, but oddly familiar. Seeing Hiyomura curled up on the ground... it had combined with that of a collapsed Yuuya before he, Kai, had gone to cradle him. Here, it was Hiromi, and then Miki herself who had gone to cradle the female Blitzkrieg Boys member.

Or... bathe her in a gentle blue light.

"What the hell are you doing, Miki?" Kai muttered, his pace quickening as he went down the last few steps, Kei's cries ringing in his ears, coupled with his schoolmate's - no, his friend's crazed laughter.

Too much... pain..... hurt..... so bad... Kei's thoughts were disjointed now. Her arms and legs had gone numb a few minutes earlier, and this had seemed to intensify the pain she felt in the rest of her body.

Especially her chest and throat. Her hands were clutching at her seemingly-throbbing ribcage, barely aware of Hiromi's hand on her, deaf to her friend's voice promising aid, offering comfort.

She let out a strangled cry; for reasons unknown - and this in itself made her panic all the more - she couldn't get enough air down, no matter how hard she tried. Her airway... she felt it constricting, bit by painful bit. The pain, combined with the stress of crying out so loud for so long made her cough repeatedly, but these were cut short, interspersed by agonizing gasps.

A few feet away, Kai stopped short, crimson orbs slightly widened when he heard the coughs, and then the pain-wracked gasps.

Yuuya had gasped - just a bit - before he... expired.

The phoenix blader took a moment to take in the scene. Sayka was still standing where she had earlier... the dark-haired girl who was apparently the cause of all this had slumped forward onto the ground - asleep, from what he could tell - only one of Hiyomura's friends remained where she was, but had sat down weakly... Hiromi still knelt beside the gasping girl... and Miki...

Miki was still doing that blue glow thing, whatever it was.

It was nerve-wracking, what was happening to her. Kei didn't feel as though she had strength enough to do anything; she couldn't open her eyes, couldn't speak, couldn't move. And, with the ability of movement seemingly gone, it was as though she couldn't think anymore; all she knew was that awful pain, grabbing at her insides, crushing...

And then, miraculously, the pain, the pressure let up. Kei's grip on her torso relaxed slightly. Inexplicably, the agonizing black aura, the cold crushing feeling was replaced with a gentle, caressing... something.

Amethyst orbs fluttered open, but her vision was still blurry. All she could see was a soft, glowing blue. There was someone else beside her, she could tell, but she didn't know who. Hiromi was still beside her as well, and Kei opened her mouth, tried to speak, to tell her friends not to worry, that she would be all right.

Instead, she coughed, her shoulders heaving with the effort, and she winced - her ribs still hurt, dammit! The brunette tasted something coppery in her mouth and got up slowly, weakly, to spit it out - was that... blood?! - then laid her head back down. Strained to see whoever it was the blue glow was coming from, tried to thank them - for what, she didn't know - but her eyes closed, vision seeming to fade away...

And she passed out.

((OOC:// Kana-chan, you do know that suffocation comes from the lungs or windpipe being crushed and that such trauma can cause internal bleeding... right? Maybe the same effect can be had by constricting bloodflow to these areas, I'm not sure yet... Perhaps if you added to Diana's abilities...? Nevermind, I'm rambling...))

Miki just gave a sigh, knowing that she cant hide from her brother anymore. She had to tell him the truth. the truth of her school life. She managed to finish healing Kei, just let the girl be taken care of by her group of friends and walked to her older brother. She looked at him with a guilty expression and looked away, her eyes softly giving small drops of tears and her expression was filled with guilt, shame and sadness.

"I'm sorry...i didnt tell you about this. You are probably thinking how did i do that, big brother. You will probably understand everything if i tell you from the time when Grandfather send me to that school. That school happened to be none other than the same one you attended....Balkov Abbey...

Uhm onee-chan, remember when Diana made a motion that she tightened her fist? She made Kei's lungs get constricted and the blood wasnt able to flow there. and Biology class says that the blood flowing through the lungs have oxygen inside them so technically, when Diana stopped Kei's blood from flowing through her lungs, she was able to suffocate because the oxygenated blood wasnt able to give her the oxygen she need to breath. but at least it was her lungs not her brain because if i was really heartless, Kei will instantly pop a vein inside her head and really died!

((OOC:// Well, as long as you know your biology, its fine with me! Just checking if you knew. =) ))

The blue glow had faded, and Miki had approached him.

Kai, speechless, didn't move. In fact, he didn't give any indication that he knew his twin was now in front of him. Seeing Hiyomura go limp just like that... it reminded him too much of Yuuya. True, he'd avenged the boy, but it didn't stop him from... remembering once in a while.

But something his sister said made him snap to attention, eyes narrowing almost immediately upon hearing 'Balkov Abbey'.

The slate-haired teen's first thought was 'How?' How did Miki and I get sent to the same school, yet never ran into each other? Yes, he'd been trained there at a later age than Miki; still, they should have met up at least once, even by accident.

"...And...?" Kai prompted, for the first time unsure of how to proceed. He didn't know where to look: at his sister, with her silent tears and guilty eyes; or at Hiromi, her arms around an unconscious Hiyomura.

Seeing that Kei fell Maria quickly ran to her finding where she might be injured and speeds things up. Since she was a sacred soul bearer. While healing she listened to the siblings. She glanced to Diana not know she might not be a sacred soul bearer.

Miki took a deep breath and looked at her twin "And...I was held there..to help create the genetically modified bitbeasts for their future soldiers..". She held her arms together "I will start from the beginning then..". She began her story...

6 YEARS AGO:
A 11 yr. old girl was curled up in a fully lighted room. She was on top of a king-sized bed, the interior was like a grand hotel. But her eyes showed deep sadness and fear. She clutched herself tighter, bringing her kness closer to her chest. It was snowing outside. Well, she was in Russia, it always snows there. She always loved watching snow. Watching the silent drops fall from the sky soothed her. But now it brought her painful memories.

A loud knocking was heard from the door. She cringe at the sound and started to shake. The door slowly opened as it revealed who entered. An old man wih long gray hair and another with a mask covering his eyes and purple hair. No, not them! They were the ones who placed her in that cold prison. She glared angrily at them as the old man just smirked. "Miki, we're happy to see you're still healthy" he gave a gentle smile and reached to touch her head but his hand got swatted away by an angry blue-haired girl, her eyes showing a piercing red glare.

"Why are you even here!? Why cant you just leave me alone!" she yelled, her fists shaking with fury. "Because we need you, my darling grand daughter, you have a very unique ability inside you. Being able to talk to powerful mystic spirits, containing them inside your body, capturing them and sealing them inside objects. you are a goddess my child! You need to use your power for such a noble purpose and--" Volaire was interrupted by a spat of saliva on his face. now he was fumed. "What noble purpose!? You lied and told me you will use them to make the world a better place!" she screamed back making her grandfather yell back at her.

"I never lied! We will get rid of thoe second-rates and build a wolrd where everyone are winners and those who are strong enough to survive. This is a winner's world, Miki. Everyone never wants a loser to lead. So thats why we are eliminating them and spare those who will follow us." Miki was already trying to prevent herself from reaching to grab the old goat's throat and snap it lifeless. She regretted ever coming to her grandfather for help when she couldnt control her abilities. He tricked her into collecting animal souls for him so that his scientists can modify it into an bit.

Then another person came into the room. They all looked and saw a girl with black hair and red eyes. Miki noticed she was slightly or around her age. She had no emotion in her face. "This will be your personal bodygaurd, she is a skilled assasin who wont hesitate to kill those who get too close to you, so dont try and make too tight friendships or they will be hanging by a the noose with a slit in their throats" Voltaire boomed at his grand daughter, making her eyes widen, making them water abit as she bit her lip. He left with the purple-haired, masked man and the young girl, leaving a sobbing bluenette, crying silent tears.

Maria listened to them why almost completing her task of healing. She was a bit confused though her face was a bit with a smile looking at Miki. She didn’t get the message that Diana was her personal body guard. She stayed quiet knowing that there was some reason that if she had a bodyguard that person would be close to her and she was hired instead. Maria was considered the best but a bit cowardly for the ones who knew her. She was the best spy, thief and a fighter but not a true assassin. The only life she remembered taking was bugs. That was one of her condition when she took any jobs.

She then stopped sighing finishing her job. She then waited for Kei to wake up still listening to their conversation.

Don't put her in the same table. I spell things wrong. Go direct and remove the guilt show.

So that was why...

Kai frowned again, not a little disturbed by what Miki told him.

His twin had a special ability - talking to bit beasts, capturing them, trapping them in objects, from what she'd told him - and just as Voltaire had used him, the old coot had used Miki. And, now that he thought about it, it was probably harder on her, having to gain a spirit's trust and then suddenly stab it in the back by trapping it somewhere.

He fought down the impulse to hug her; he couldn't do it, not in such a public place (never mind that the others would probably not notice). Iinstead, he laid a comforting hand gently on his sister's shoulder.

"At... at least you told me..." he began, "even though it took this long... at least I know..." the crimson-eyed blader trailed off, unsure of what else to say. What could he say?

Movement from where Hiromi and Sayka were kneeling caught his eye, and Kai took a step closer to get a better look.

The pain... it had gone away now. Kei opened her eyes.

The blue glow was gone, too. A slight twinge of panic. Was she-

Wait. She could tell she was lying down, not floating. Well, that was good. The brunette sat up, wincing a bit at the slight pain in her left side. Still, she could breathe again, at least.

Turned slightly to the side, spotted Hiromi's slightly tearful, relieved face; Ruri's as well.

"You know," she began, voice slightly hoarse from her earlier screaming, coughing, and gasping, "the two of you could try out for some cheesy drama; you've got that look on your faces..." The amethyst-eyed teen looked around again and noticed one of her friends was missing. "Where's Nia?"

"She went to look for help. Poor thing," Hiromi replied, reaching into her backpack. "She was so worried she forgot that I had a cellular phone..."

"Oh, no..." Kei groaned. "I just hope she didn't call an ambulance; I hate ambulances... and trips to the hospital... and being stuck in the hospital..."

She didn't fail to notice Maria's blonde hair, and she turned to the kunoichi, a small smile on her face. "Thanks for helping, Maria-san, even though... I'm not exactly sure what you did. Well, thanks, anyway." Then, the familiar two-toned blue of Kai's hair fluttered into her vision, and the girl turned that way, slightly anxious.

What she saw surprised her quite a bit: aside from Kai, there was a girl who looked to be about their age, and she, too, had blue hair.

Am I seeing things? Kei blinked, confused and wondering at what had gone on when she was trapped in that painful blackness.

"No I just put more speed to your healing" Maria answered.

She then sensed something. She quickly turned and noticed. Kai laid a comforting hand on his sister's shoulder.

Her heart pumped faster from excitement watching them as if she was watching a drama with the brother and sister with the shy brother showing a bit of affection.

She smiled brightly happy to see an almost one in a life time scene.

She wished that she had a camera with her, but she realized that would make Kai mad.

Even so they soon broke off.

She was still in her little fantasy until she noticed Kei's teary eyed friends especially Hiromi.

Miki was still looking at the ground when she heard her brother's words. She wanted to look at him again but she couldnt bear to, after so long, she was only telling him now. But when he put a hand on her shoulder, she couldnt hide it anymore and instantly hugged him, her face on his chest, gripping tightly, letting out quiet and at the same time, loud sobs of gratitude. "I'm sorry...big brother" she muffled under the fabric, her tears continuing to fall.

-------------------------------------------------

Diana was still sleeping until she heard muffled sobs and cries. She held a hand on her head, trying to regain her vision. Then there she saw, a blonde girl by her target who was breathing and alive, her 2 friends, and Miki, holding on to a blue-haired boy, crying on his torso, her fingers gripping his shirt. "Well, well...i guess you found your bro, Miks..i'm just glad you're okay" Diana gave a small smile, just enjoying that she was reunited with her brother again.

Sowee...i just cant help it but if you dont know, Miks is Diana's nickname for Miki ^^ Diana's past will be explain once i see onee-chan's side of the story
PostPosted: Tue Nov 13, 2007 7:05 am

Kei shook her head, still smiling. "What do you mean 'just'? You helped, after all..." She decided it was best not to repeat her thanks; it would be... a titchy bit annoying, at some point.

"Uh, Ruri?" she prodded, lightly shaking her blonde-haired friend, who had suddenly latched onto her in a tight hug. "Could you let go of me, please? You're practically strangling me..."

Ruri immediately let go, a sheepish look on her face. "Sorry. It's just..."

Kei smiled, shaking her head again goodnaturedly. "I know; I gave you quite a scare there, huh?" She stood up, brushed her pants off. "Hey, could one of you find Nia? I don't want her suddenly bursting in here with paramedics in tow..."

Hiyomura was fine now, he could see that. But Kai had... other matters to attend to.

Such as the weeping Miki burrowing into his chest, her words muffled through fabric and tears.

At last, he brought up both hands, forming a protective barrier around his twin. He didn't know what else to do, or what to say. He'd said all he could, and thought that this was one of those moments where actions spoke louder than words.

Kei bit her lip, trying to hold back her smile as she saw Kai embracing the girl who was, apparently, his sister. It was a rare sight, but the two deserved their privacy; what they did should not be open to public speculation, and yes, this applied to teammates as well. She could not - would not, actually, judge the slate-haired teen's actions.

And then she saw her dark-haired challenger getting up slightly; she looked as though she'd been asleep. But why was that? Kei couldn't help wondering. That the other dark-haired girl was smiling in the direction of Kai's sister didn't escape her; so...how do these three - Maria, the girl in black, and Kai's sister - know each other, if they know each other at all?

Things were getting... interesting, to say the least.
