Dee was already there before Mitz and Sogni and she was overhearing Brandon mutter something he was nervous about. She was wondering why Brandon was there, but she had this sneaky suspicion that Stella was going to be happily surprised. The room was brighter than usual. It was as if some stone was making it brighter in there.

Dee dared not to go in, just so that the secret would remain kept. One thing Dee was not good at was keeping secrets. So, if it was something big that Brandon was planning, she better not go in or she might spill the beans to Stella before Brandon had a chance to say what he had to say to her.

dee looked to Emily and put a finger to her lip. She said, "Hush! I think Brandon wants to propose to Stella. If we ruin it....Stella might not say yes."

Dee saw Contessa and Blaze and crept towards them. She said in a hushed whisper, "Contessa, Blaze, do not try to break the confidence of Brandon. He's in Stella's room and I think he's gonna propose to her tonight. If you hadn't noticed that odd glow from Stella's room yet. It's Brandon with a wickedly nice ring!"

Mizt and Sirius returned to Spectra for a second- just to put the stone where it belongs. Then they sat under a tree in Alfea. Sirius had heard the roumor that Brandom was proposing to Stella. He felt he was left behind somehow, he had wished to do that before Mizt had gone to Alfea. He had nowhere to stay that night, but he did not want to return to Spectra. Not yet.
"Mizt... do you think they accept me at Red Fountain?" he asked timidly.
Mizt was in shock, she could not believe he had finally decided to go to Red Fountain, even if he had finished his studies at Spectra. "To be honest, I don't know, the classes started already. Let's go and see."

"I don't know." Emilu answered "I would go and look for her, but I don't want to miss it when he proposes.

Stella went inside her room then saw Brandon. "Hey Snookums."

It seemed really late to Zafire, even when it wasn't actually. She was used to sleep every time she wanted, because at Enigma, there were no clocks and you could not be guided by the sun to know time. It was a planet where people was never in a hurry, a planet of eternal night. Without hesitating, she went to sleep. "Night sea." she said, and her room appeared to have a night of its own.
