I thought it was weird that in this Suikoden, 4 of your stars were your opponents.

Well... you can play as them, so it does make a bit of sense in that regard.
But if all four of them got their own stars, Jowy should've gotten one too.
Get rid of big-pimple-man or someone...

Chiriku I thought it was weird that in this Suikoden, 4 of your stars were your opponents. Yeah, you got to play them, but these weren't stars you had to actually go and hunt up like you do in the other games. In fact, don't they pretty much cause the war, what with Luc going rune hunting just to destroy himself.

Remember, that the 108 are "those who can alter the course of destiny" or something along those lines. And Luc, Yuber, Sarah, and Albert certainly did that.
It's just a different take on the 108 stars legend, is all.

Going off topic here...
Me and this guy were talking on the phone the other night. All of the sudden I bring up an interesting topic: "Games that make you so pissed you throw your controller."
So he's all: "Umm... I can't really remember but I think it was... Seekidin? Sweekeedeen? Swekooden?"
razz ause:
Me: "SUIKODEN?"
And then he was all: "Yeah that one. The third one.. I can't remeber what it was but I got so frustrated. So I stopped playing it."
razz ause:
Me: "You probably stopped after you lost that war battle you're supposed to lose."
razz ause:
Me: "I can't believe you just pronounced the name of my favorite series like that. What the hell."

Do any of you know where to get the Gold Hammer at?
I forgot where to find it, its been years since I beat Suikoden 3.
And I'm too damn lazy to search through an online fax. whee

IIRC it only starts appearing SUPER late game. Like, you basically need to be IN the final dungeon before it appears.
