Meta Fish Katie the Artist I'll buy a Wii just for Brawl. The only bad thing about the game. -.- how so? shows how good this game is going to be. and hopefully with this factor imploding on itself, i can only hope for it to bring some good players for me to battle xd

They're going to get it soley to play this game, and never experience the full motion experience, which the Wii is all about. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: One game is never reason enough to buy a console. And I truly hope that people that seem so pretentious about their skills get thoroughly stomped by more modest people. (Not myself, though)

I still play it on a daily basis I kinda stopped playing melee, mainly, cause I beat the different story modes on very hard, and faced every NPC at max level on final destination and completed all the events, the only thing i wanted to do was the blackhole trick.

I don't think the online play will be loved by everyone, because pretty quick into it's release, the only people that will play random online matches are the people that use every single advanced technique and/or hack the game to win, just like Nintendo's other games, but to a higher degree, because it's Smash Brothers. Of course you bought the Wii for it's good games, and yeah, Brawl tops the list, but the whole point of the console and the whole philosophy is about the 'innovative' new controller, not about the GameCube paddle ports.

I'll say that I'm pretty good at the game around here, compared to the people I've found to play with, but I'm sure on a worldwide scale, I'm really not very good at all. I think you'll use the GameCube controller, too. They could change it, but I think that's what it will end up using, or it will be an option that most people will opt to use. I think our opinions are both worth of consideration, and thank you. ^__^

I enjoy proving such people wrong. Especially in team matches. Plus, everybody will be humbled by better players with Brawl's release.

May I make a note that not the whole SSB community is like that =_=;... the people that I talk to do brag, but mostly as joke, unless their actually ranked pretty high up the ladder (I'm talking about europese people<,<...) and even the top 3 players are relaxed people, which I didn't expect, also too me it seemed that ChuDat (I think he's america's current #1 player, not sure though.) sounded like a nice unarrogant person aswell.
Also I know that I'm not the best, I'm pretty good (I did win 300 euros from a friend in Samus vs Samus moneymatches previous weekend) but I'm not the best by a loooooong shot =_=;...

[R]ed ~- Clario~kun -~ Paper Mario could be a versatile character, but he'd be too light... And what attacks would he use? (I didn't read the first 10 pages. >.>) He could use badges, I guess... And if he IS in, his Smash attack should be the Hammer Spin. I hope Pichu gets in though. Pichu was my 3rd best character in Melee. you would be a dead man if you faced well...anyone of skill if you used Pichu. he hurts himself! what was the TEAM thinking?
