I don't care about the world or what La Mort wants them for! I just want to see my family agai-! *Ran's words stopped short as he saw Franki walk up and throw her card on the ground. At the sight his eye pulsed heavily once and he began to slip his hand into his pocket for his own card. Now was...his chance*

just let him go! i don't care what you're saying, i want no part of it! you're all insane! or i am! whichever, just let him go right now, he's done... :;she turns to look at Ran and sees his eye changing again then sighs:: this again? ::she kneels beside him and:: sorry, dude, but it worked last time ::and decks him agian, same spot::

Remmy growled 'constrict' and the chains tightened around him so that he couldn't get his hand into his pocket to use the card. "Sorry, but the world is more important than you're family. Even if you see them again, you'll all be destroyed if La Mort gets these cards." She took the Dark card in her hand. "I call upon the power of the Dark, activate!" she shouted, praying the card would activate and the gaurdian appear.

Gya! *Ran felt the binds tightly on his body and he gasped for air. As he struggled to fill his lungs, he looked up just as Franki punched him again. This one connected in the same place as last time and promptly knocked him unconscious. His hands went limp and his head dropped to the ground with his hair covering his facial features*

Remmy hit herself in the head. "Idiot!" she said, remembering and earlier conversation she'd had with Pyralis too late. "I'm screwed." she said, dropping the card. She stared at the card, waiting for the Dark to emerge from it but blinked when nothing happened. She picked the card up and examined it. "Ha! Proves I'm not its true master." she said, looking pointedly at Franki and releasing the chains hold on Ran, since he was passed out.

::Franki stared as Remmy calls out a command... and nothing happens. what had she expected? all the while, she stayed kneeling beside the passed out Ran. maybe she shoulda pulled back a bit....::

Remmy had fallen and was currently sitting on her butt, looking like her legs had slid out from under her. She actually laughed when Pyralis yelled at her. He was so odd in the way he showed his concern. "Don't worry, you'll never have to share me because I can only master one card. Remember?" she said, grinning up at him and winking, looking for all the world as if she'd done that on purpose just to freak him out. "I Call upon you Firey." she said, watching as a larger form of the figure on the card appeared near her head, coming from the card. "You're not crazy." she said to Franki. "You've just been given a wonderful, and yet terrible gift." she said, her smile looking almost sad.

::Franki stares at Firey then shakes her head:: forget it, i'm dreaming... ::she looks to Ran and sighs:: guess you'll have to come back with me... ::mumbles as she hosts Ran to her sholder, holding him like a sack of patatos. she's amazingly strong for such a small, delicate seeming girl.... after allowing herself to get used to his weight, she retrives her dog and starts to walk away::

Remmy cringed at Pyralis' use of her name but didn;t have time to think about it. She grabbed the Dark card and jumped to her feet, running after Franki. "Wait! Please stop a minute! You're not crazy and this isn't a dream!" she shouted, Firey flying behind her.

: razz yralis follows her as well, transforming into his salamander form as soon as he's close enought to be able to stay on her shoulder. in an almost appologetic way, he nuzzles her neck::
::Franki keeps walking, one arm up around Ran to keep him in place. she doesn't seem to be having trouble holding him up there, even though she's rather slender and only 5'4'':: this is sleep depravention ::firmly:: and a bunch of jerks taking advantage of me. that's all... there isn't a freaking fire... thing following you and i didn't see all of that...

Remmy shook her head, and petted Pyralis gently for a second. "Ugh. It's not sleep depravation! Yes there is a large fire thing following me, Besides that I have a guardian that transforms from a humanoid shape to a salamander. And we're not jerks taking advantage of you, I'm TRYING to get you to realize what you have to do! We need you!" she said, getting very frustrated, which was unusual for her.

Remmy wanted to laugh. "My name's Remmy Kazumi. And I'm not crazy and neither are you." she said, still trying to convince Franki as she walked with her. "And what's your name, may I ask?"
