(The man never left) Frost was sent propelling into the air as the man followed up not short after. Frost spun around and got slugged in the stomach. The man then spun backwards, kicking Frost in the head and causing him to land next to her. He tried to push himself up but the man stomped on the back of his head, embedding his face into the floor.

The man ducked down under the cahins and planted his hands on the floor, mule kicking the chains as they passed over him so that they shot up into the ceiling. He then ran at her with inhuman speed while walking on his hands. He used his legs in place of his hands to punch at her with. Frost pushed himself up and hiked back his sycthe, swinging it at the man, causing him to fall over into the crab walk position. He then fliped over Frost, spinning around and landing a kick in the back of his head, propelling Frost through a wall. "Wow, this guys no joke." He said pulling himself out of the wall. "I'm glad you acknoledge my skill Mistake. Perhapse you will take me seriously now." The man then got into an odd looking fighting stance that would appear to trip someone up the second they took a step. He was prepared to take them both on if he must.

"You stay back! I can handle this clown!" Frost charged at the man, who slid his foot across the floor, slamming it into the side of Frost's face. Frost grabbed his foot but the man suddenly lunged outward, punching Frost in the face and breaking his nose, causing Frost to loose his grip. The man then brought his foot under Frost and sent it upward, slamming it into Frost's stomach. He the grabbed both of Frost's shoulders, and yanked Frost downward, kneeing him in the face. Frost fell to the ground, grabbing his face in pain. He'd never had some one do this much damage to him in such short time, using only hand to hand combat. The man then turned toward her, getting in the same fighting position. Frost saw an opening and lept up, throwing a punch at the back of the mans head. The man twisted his arm backwards, causing a sickening crack to emitate from it and caught Frost's punch. He then started bending Frost's fist backwards, still facing her. "You are too slow and too weak Mistake! Count your prayers my brother is not here!" Frost winced in pain as his wrist started to break. "Now! He can't take us both on!"

The man had bent his arm in a way so that she stabbed his arm instead of his ribs and throat. He then wretched the knifes out of her had and grabbed her by the throat. He was hardly using 1/10 of his strength to lift her up. "You do not understand. I am saving you." He looked into her eyes with his red unmoving eyes. They seemed to be looking into her very soul. He then let her go and turned back to Frost. He jabbed his free hand into Frost's ribs, puncturing him and lifting him up by them. Frost seemed to pass out from the pain and the man threw Frost out of a hole in the side of the building. Frost fell almost 100 stories, but there was no sound of him hitting the ground. The man walked over to the ledge when suddenly a long black whip like object with a scyth on the end shot up and cleaved into the man's shoulder. Not long after it retracted, bringing Frost up with such force as Frost slammed his feet into the mans stomach, sending him flying up through several ceilings. "A-are you ok?"

"He meant save you from death. His organization beleives they can make man immortal by destroying all the Mistakes and the reaper." He said giving her a reassuring smile. He then turned around and pulled out his list. "I'm sorry, but I have to get back to work, you know, duty calls." He said leaping off the building as he began to glide through the air. He then gave a Grim look back and then at his list. The 57th name on the list was Ani. He tucked the list away and flew off deep into the city.

Unbeknown to her another man was standing behind her. He seemed just like the first man, except instead of red robes with black trim he had black robes with with red trim. "So, you're friends with a reaper, eh little girl." The first man soom came behind the second one. "He has clouded her thoughts brother. She does not know her fate this night."

Ani jumped and spun catching herself before she fell off her perch. She picked herself up and eyed the two men and gulped softly. "He hasn't clouded my thoughts at all, I just don't have anywhere else to go." Her eyes flickered over the room as she looked for a way out.

"So, your the new Reaper? Bout time you got here. I've been serving in your absense for quite a while. And don't worry, danger's gone now. But I'm curious, what took the council such a long time to send you in?"
