Sora watched everyone file out of the room, went to pick up up the Book of Fate... Wait, where was it? "Ah, well... Maybe it was taken back..." Sora flew through the window. Suddenly he lost control and plummeted to the ground. He was caught by the branches of a tall, strong oak. He hung upside-down. "Oh, my..." The branch that was supporting him broke, but Sora didn't fall far. His jacket, belly top and t-shirt were ripped slightly. "Damn..." He got up, dusted himself off and walked towards the car.
Takuto helped Mitsuki and Akiko into the car, then walked around to the drivers side and started it up. He hit the high-beam button. "Hey, Meroko, Sora you guys gettin' in or what?!" Takuto called.
"Wha?" Sora squinted in the bright lights. A flash of memory, then a sudden pang of fear hit. "Ahh... What... was that about?" Sora shook his head and got into the car.

After she had finished thinking about her "life", Meroko decided to go wait at Mitsuki's house for the others to arrive. She flew to the house and sat on the roof. Suddenly she started remembering. She remembered her whole human life, including how she died. She burried her face in her hands. "Why am I remembering now..." she said to herself.

Everyone finaly reached the house and Mitsuki literaly jumped out of the car.

Takuto chuckled and went around to get Mitsuki's things. He lugged them inside the house. "Hey, what say you guys to dinner at a restaurant to night?" Takuto shouted. "My treat!" he added.
Sora got out of the car. He had brightened up on the way home. Just then, he frowned. There was a single word and a song echoing in the confines of his memories.
" 'Ai'..." Sora said and rubbed his head as the memory came back. It gave him a prickly feeling, and he was suddenly overwhelmed by sadness. I don't understand... The song was playing in the background of his memory, as if from a music box. Sora could remember spending many a night like this; crying while he listened to this song. "Ai." he said again and leaned up against the outer wall of the house with a curious look upon his face.

Mitsuki squealed. "That Would Be So Much Fun!!" She said as she gave Takuto a big hug.
Akiko walked over to Sora. "You Okay??" She asked in a soft tone.

Meroko finally snapped out of her "trance" when Mitsuki, Takuto, Sora and Akiko came back. She flew down and landed on the ground beside the front door. She smiled at how happy Mitsuki was. Now that she could remember her human life, she missed it. Why did I do it? Why? she thought to herself. Then she realized that she didn't want to bring everyone else's happiness down with her own sorrows, and smiled.

Mitsuki stopped laughing when she sensed her best friend was a little down. "Meroko?? You Okay??" She asked as she let go of takuto and walked over to Meroko.

"Alright, where would we like to go?" Takuto asked. "What's wrong with Meroko?"
Sora blushed heavily. "N-n-no, I mean... I-I'm fine." he pulled away from Akiko. "I'm just trying to remember a song... I used to call it the 'ai' song..." Sora laughed softly. "But that's not what it's called. I don't know why it's bugging me so much... I can only remember the tune, and that it made me cry... But, don't worry, I'm used to it. I get over it really fast, see?" Sora smiled widely and put a hand on Akiko's shoulder. "Now go with Takuto and Mitsuki and find somewhere to eat!"
[By the way, I'll be up at my cottage for the next week, so you guys can do whatever with Takuto and Sora if you want. Bye-bye :3]

Mitsuki frowned. "I dunno..." She answered.
Akiko shruged. "If you say so..." She said as she walked over to Mitsuki & Takuto.

She looked up at Mitsuki, who had a look of concern on her face. "N-nothing, no, nothing at all! You go enjoy dinner with Takuto and Akiko. No need for me to bring you down anyways" she said and then smiled. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine" she said, still smiling.

Mitsuki frowned. "Meroko-chan if somethings wrong you should tell me!! You're my friend and that's what friends are for!!" She told her very concerned for her friend. "I'm not going anywhere until I know what's wrong!!"

Meroko looked at Mitsuki. She didn't want to tell her anything. Her past was sad, and she didn't want to make Mitsuki sad. "I told you, there's nothing wrong. Now go" she said, then smiled and flew away. As she was flying she was thinking about whether or not she should tell Mitsuki. "I guess I'll do it later" she said to herself, and landed in the cherry tree again.

Akiko followed Mitsuki into the house and went to change as well.
