Choryl couldn't help noticing the ring the girl held up for all to see. It was gold after all. But why was the girl holding that way? What was the purpose? More importantly, would it get thrown overboard? Choryl wouldn't steal treasure from anyone, but she felt if treasure fell into the ocean depths, it was fair game.

A little disappointed by not being able to do anything before-hand, Lilla was finally able to get into action. The problem was that she never fought anyone before, well not in serious combat. Therefore, after boarding the other ship and while everyone around her engaged in battle, she stood at a distance within some shadows and moved objects around the ship to trip or hit one of the enemies. She also tried tossing their weapons out of their hands, but to her dismay, most of them were held firmly. After a while of doing that, she was finally sighted and had to escape the grasps of some guy that came after her. She ducked, ran, then finally skidded between his legs to get out of the way of his sword. The sword got stuck in some of the ship's wood and while he was busy trying to retrieve it, Lilla kicked him overboard. Smiling with a bit of satisfaction, she turned to see the some of the other pirates stopped in mid attack and focused on one point. She looked in the direction they were facing and saw Maria holding up a ring as if it were a trophy near the opposite end of the ship.

"You foolish girl!" Scott yelled at Maria as he severed the head of one of the vampirets that was about to impail her while she held up the ring. He the grabbed her by the wrist and lead her back towards the ship. "You can gloat about your findings after we are safe," he scolded her. As they were nearing the edge of the ship, the Captain of the Vampirates, Vladimir the Red, wedged himself inbetween the Barracuda and Scott and Maria.

The Captain in the mean time begain to direct several un-named members of the crew to begin the looting, seeing as the opposition was in check. "Hurry it up, I want to scuttle this thing soon," Rex yelled to the scavengers, before turning his attention to where Scott was. "Rough him up a bit, but don't kill him. We need the bounty on his head seeing as they are not that swell at treasure hunting."

((Any one want to play the vampire captain?))

((Sure, why not.))
Maria looked at the bollet hole in her stomach, then at the captain. "You forget things so quickly..." No blood was comeing out of the hole. She still had the ring in her hand. "I'll put it on. I will." Vladimir looked at her and smiled, then apeared right behind her, a wooden steak in his hand and his gun pointed at Scott. Maria held her breath. "You can both die in an instant," he whisperd in her ear. "Give me the ring, and you will be fine."

Man, Rowan thought I wish I knew what was going on.
"Darn my bad luck." she muttered to herself "I hate being so far away."

At a glance, there was a glimmer in the streak of light that passed through some cracks in a chest of some kind. Lilla carefully sneaked over to it, and examined the exterior. The lock it seemed was partially rusted steel, but the latch was as tight as ever it could have been. By the looks of it, she would be unable to open it by force, but tried anyway thinking the rust surely would have weakened it. She knew she could easily conjure some object to help her open it, but that would only divert attention toward her.

Oh.. where's the tough guy when you need him?... Looking around, she heard the captain and rushed to find someone nearby that could help her. She could take the chest easy, but it would leave her defenseless. She wasn't strong enough to defend herself while on a mission. Well.. let's see...

Concentrating on the chest, she levitated it a few inches in the air to test the weight of it. Then, looking around to make sure no one was watching, she conjured a wooden board with wheels on the bottom, and levitated the chest on to it. I wonder where all the security is... As if in answer to her thoughts, a pirate jumped on to the deck in front of her and the chest that was she was rolling with her mind. He leaned up against it and said in a very undermining tone, "and w'ere d'ya think yor goin' Missy?"

Giving an awkward smile she replied with an air of uncertainty, "Somewhere you can't catch me?" Glancing around she knocked him over with a nearly empty barrel of what looked like black powder. Taking advantage of the fallen enemy, she ran to the side of the ship that boarded on to their own, pushing constantly the chest of shiny objects in front of her. No one else noticed until she got closer into view, but she ran as fast as she could anyway.

Choryl watched as people began falling overboard--some could swim, others didn't have the skill or were too injured or already dead. Choryl froze, afraid to move incase she was spotted. If she was the last thing they saw before they died it was ok. But, if they were going to live and return to the surface, she didn't need anyone reporting her existence before she was ready to reveal it herself.

Choryl took a quick count--there were three guys from the vampirate crew in the water that were very much alive. One was trying to climb on top of a crate that was thrown overboard. A second was swimming toward the ladder on his ship, and his fellow crewmates were encouraging him from the deck. But the third was silently climbing the ladder on the side of the Barracuda, and it appeared that no one on the deck of that ship was noticing.

With a gun pointed at his head, Scott threw Maria forward while he pivoted and swung his sword upwards so it would be in the path of the bullewt if it was fired. Meanwhile his sword coiled around in the air around Vladimir like a giant snake, leaving no exit for him. Scott had singnaled his sword to make a move before vladimir had even aimed the gun. In seconds the silver snake constricted bring its edge and teeth down on Vladimir.

Vladimir smerked. "Pitty...I thought this would be easy..." He held up his hand and everything started to go in slow motion, exept for him and Maria. He walked over to her. "Give me that ring, my dear. If you know what's good for you." He held out a hand to help her up. She spat on it. "You know what happend last time..." She whisperd as she stood up. "Or, maybe, history will have to repeat itself..." She looked at the ring. "Sad, realy. What a simple tinket can do..."

((apparently no one knows what do to with maria's last post -- what happens next between her and vladimir? and what's going to happen when the rouge vampirate finishes climbing the side ladder on the Barracuda? is rowan going to shoot him, or scream? will the noise bring george followed by jared to the deck? what about lilia's loot? does she make it across to the Barracuda or is the treasure chest going to fall to the ocean floor? stay tuned for more exciting adventures aboard the life on the seven seas.)) ((that was fun.))

As Choryl was watching the vampirate climb the side of the Barracuda from her watery hideout she became distracted by the sight of a treasure chest very close to the side of the first ship. "Oh! Treasure!" But from her viewing angle Choryl couldn't see who or what was moving it. All she could do at the moment was hope it fell overboard. That would be a nice trade, or so she felt, for almost being seen today.

"Hey, who goes there." yelled Rowan as she ran toward the Vampires that were climbing up the latter. "Jarek, I might need your help up here"

"Hypnosis!" Scott muttered to himself as time seemed to move in slowmotion as well as himself. He then closed his eyes to gather his thoughts before reopening them to see the world before him shatter like glass and replaced with a world of normal speed. He the raised his sword and called, "Strike, Snake King!" as he whiped his sword forward and the front tooth came down into the side of Captain Vladimirs neck, creating a dark crimson gyser. He then with drew it back to the swords original state before taunting,"You're not done over here yet."

Vladimir looked at Scott. "That was not the smartest thing to do..." He turned twards him, a sword apearing in his hand. Maria stood slowly, picking up the dropped steak as she stood. In inhuman speed, Vladimir was behind Scott and had slashed both of his ankles, so deep you could see the bone.
